SACREY, MAISIE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maisie Sacrey, age 80, announce her passing at her family residence in La Scie on Sunday, February 2, 2003. Predeceased by parents Herbert and Annie Norman; sisters Maude Clarke, Elsie Manuel, Ethel Manuel and Evelyn Norman; brothers Gus, Allan, Herbert, Ross and Ewen; sisters-in-law Evelyn (Fred) Spracklin and Edna Norman; brother-in-law Ralph (Jessie) Sacrey. Left with fond and loving memories are husband Gid; sons Chris (Heike), Kitchener, On and Peter (Colleen), Winnipeg, MB; grandsons Harley, Dylan and Brandon; brother Malcolm Norman (Rebecca), Pacquet; sisters-in-law Marie Norman, Baie Verte, Olive Norman, Gander, Dulcie Norman, BC, Marion Norman, Lewisporte and Maisie Decker (Rex), Woodstock; brother-in-law Doug Manuel, Lewisporte. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces and nephews; housekeepers Edna and Earl Martin; homecare workers Sandy Maximchuk, Jackie Rice, Donna Gray, Gloria martin and Gina Martin and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. George Kean conducted the funeral service at Zion United Church, La Scie on Thursday, February 6, 2003. Interment followed at Faith United Church Cemetery, Woodstock. Pallbearers were Chris Sacrey, Peter Sacrey, Kerwin Burton, Wayne Norman, Edward Norman and Earl Martin.

PARDY, MILDRED LEAH
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Leah Pardy, age 71, announce her passing at the BVPHC, Baie Verte on Tuesday, February 4, 2003. Predeceased by first husband Warrick; children Wesley and Phyllis; second husband Lester; parents George and Bessie; brothers John and Stewart; sisters Lillian Dawe and brother-in-law Bert Hamlyn. Left with fond and loving memories are grandchildren Wesley Pardy and Reneigh Koke; great grandchildren Stephanie and Nathaniel; sisters Francis Small (Baxter), Wild Cove, Ruby Hamlyn, Twillingate and Mabel Rice (Paul), Wild Cove; brothers Randolph (Piney), Allan (Joyce), Harold (Maxine), Mark (Patricia), all of Wild Cove; sisters-in-law Elvie Small, Wild Cove and Marie Evans (Truman), Baie Verte; brothers-in-law Edward Dawe, St. John's, Winston Pardy (Peggy), Deer Lake, Clayton Pardy (Dorothy), Springdale; step-sons Hayward Pardy (Lillian) and Sterling Pardy (Joyce); step-daughters Mavis, Elizabeth, Sylvia and Hilda Rose; many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Marvin Freake conducted the funeral service at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Wild Cove on Friday, February 7, 2003. Pallbearers were Randolph Small, Allan Small, Harold Small, Mark Small, Paul Rice and Ron Warren

ANDREWS, MARY FLORENCE
Passed peacefully away February 8, 2003, Mary Florence Andrews in her 65th year at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor. Left to mourn are husband Stephen; parents Leander and Charity Osmond, Hampden; sons Leander (Sharon), Westport, William, Grand Falls-Windsor, Frederick (Tracey), New Brunswick, Rocky (Radika), Ontario and Sonny (Kay), Ontario; daughters Annie, Ontario, Loretta, Labrador, Vivian (Frank Rice), Seal Cove, Marie (Raymond Hewlett), Alberta and Mary (Howard Gale), Alberta. Also leaving to mourn sisters Dorothy and Edna; brothers Cyril, Derick and Spencer; 20 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Randy Lockyer conducted the funeral services at St. Peters Church and Cemetery, Westport on February 12, 2003. Pallbearers were Raymond Hewlett, Howard Gale, Frank Rice, Ellis Andrews, Morley Jacobs and Alan Alexander.

HAAS, DANIEL PATRICK
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Daniel Patrick Haas, age 62, announce his passing at Baie Verte on Sunday, February 9, 2003. Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Mary Haas; sisters Josephine (Thomas) Butler, Elizabeth (Ronald) Sullivan and Rose Haas; brothers George, Donald and William; sisters-in-law Matilda Payne and Gladys Payne; brothers-in-law Peter Mass, Darrell Payne, David Payne and Frank Skinner; neices Joanne Sullivan, Phyllis Sullivan and Mary Ann Payne and nephew Donald Butler. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Patsy, Brent's Cove; sons Timothy and Francis, Fort McMurray, AB; daughter Brenda Lee Philpott (George); grandchildren Megan and Dillan, both of Baie Verte; sister Agnes Mass; brothers John T. Haas (Bertha), Tom (Clara), Mike (Betty), Jim (Margaret) and Edward; parent-in-law John and Josephine Payne; brothers-in-law Ambrose (Patsy), Peter (Agnes), Rapheal (Julia) and Francis Breen; sisters Shirley Dugas (Joseph), Eileen Skinner, Margaret Haas (Jim), Julia Skinner (Pat Joe), Linda Skinner (Don), Alice Sullivan (Felix), Clotida Payne, Doris Bowers (Todd), Maxine Fudge (Keith) and a large circle of other relative and friends. Father Tom Duffenais conducted the funeral services at St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Brent's Cove on Wednesday, February 12, 2003. Pallbearers were Max Haas, Darren Haas, Damien Haas, Danny Haas, Paul Sullivan, Terry Sullivan and Chris Sullivan and the cross bearer was Pete Payne.

RYAN, HARRIET BLANCHE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harriet Blanche Ryan, age 69, announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Thursday, February 13, 2003. Predeceased by parents Henry and Ethel Foss, brothers Bobby Foss, Henry Foss and Bert Foss and brother-in-law Harvey Wimbleton. Left with fond and loving memories are daughters Alma Johnson (Scott), St. John's and Linda Tilley (Derek), La Scie; sons Terry (Cathy) and Randy (Lisa) all of La Scie; grandchildren Jason Stone (Joy), Ryan Tilley, Rachelle Ryan, Nikita Tilley, Joshua Ryan, Janine Ryan and Tommy Ryan and great granddaughter Rebecca Stone. Also leaving to mourn are sisters Mae Welshman and Evelyn Wimbleton; brothers Ray Foss (Ella) and Cecil Foss (Maisie); sisters-in-law Evelyn Foss and Margaret Foss and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. George Kean conducted the funeral service at Zion United Church and Cemetery, La Scie on Sunday, February 16, 2003. Pallbearers were John Hoddinott, Gordon Rice, Brian Martin, Harvey Martin, George Gray and Raymond Gray.

WYATT, TRENT ROBERT
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Trent Robert Wyatt announce his passing at Shango Bay, Labrador on February 23, 2003 at the age of 22. Trent was a member of FINALY, an organization devoted to the improvement of the youth of Newfoundland and Labrador. He was an employee of "Smart Lab". Left with fond and loving memories are Miranda Colbert, and son Trevor of Nain,; parents Doris Wyatt, Dennis and Jessie Wyatt; brothers Chad and Mark all of Nain; sisters Krista, Springdale, Denise Shiwak, Hopedale, Sandra and Brenda Decker, Nain; grandparents Bill and Margaret Wyatt, Springdale and Gus and Gertie Burton, Pacquet. Also a large circle of family and friends. Majors Gary and Glendys Butt conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel, Springdale on February 28, 2003. Trent was cremated and his ashes were sprinkled on the place he loved best Mount Sophie, Nain.

KENNEDY, MARY ELIZABETH,
COACHMAN'S COVE

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Elizabeth Kennedy, age 60, announce her passing at the BVPHC, Baie Verte on Monday, February 24, 2003. Predeceased by her husband Joseph; son Fabian; parents Patrick and Margaret Breen and brothers Jack and Sylvester. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Sylvester, Coachman's Cove and Patrick (Renee), Badger; grandchildren Craig, Emily, hope, Faith and Dylan; sisters Rose Walsh Alphonsus), Anne Wiseman, Patsy Lewis (Joseph) and Madeline Gourley (Gary); brother Cyril Breen and a large circle of other relatives and friends. FAther Tom Duffenais conducted the funeral service at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Coachman's Cove on Thursday, February 27, 2003. Pallbearers were Paddy Kennedy, Sylvester Breen, Jason Lewis, Marcus Walsh, Paddy Barker, Michael Breen and the crossbearer was Craig Breen.
