YOUNG ARCHIBALD
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Archibald Young announces his passing at the Green Bay Health Center, Springdale, NL on December 27, 2005 at the age of 86 years. Archibald retired from Pelley's Construction as a Construction Foreman. Predeceased by his wife Alma, parents Robert & Lena Young, 2 brothers Alfred and Maxwell, 2 sisters Geneva and Violet. Left with fond and loving memories are sons, Kenneth ( Edna ), Baie Verte, Alonzo ( Linda ), Springdale, Orvan, Massey, Ontario, daughters, Golda (Francis Young) of Springdale, Lorna Caravan (Ivan) of Guelph, Ontario; Joanne Critch ( Baxter ) of Thompson, Manitoba. Also leaving to mourn sister Pearl James, St. John's, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Major Lacey conducted the service at the Salvation Army Church, Springdale December 30, 2005. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Springdale, NL. Pallbearers were, Stedman Young, Chesley Young, Ford Young, Roy Normore, Chesley Normore, and Alonzo Normore.

OXFORD, HETTIE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hettie Oxford announces her passing at the Valley Vista Senior's Home, Springdale, NL on December 29, 2005 at the age of 86 years. Hettie was a member of the Salvation Army Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Theophilius. Left with fond and loving memories are; daughters, Zelda Locke, Little Bay Islands, Gwen (Neil Jenkins) Springdale, Gail (David Rowsell) of Little Bay Islands, NL also leaving to mourn brother Duncan (Victoria) sister-in-law Hazel Grimes, brother-in-law Wincel Oxford, 5 grandchildren, Perry and Jody Locke, Rick and Ian Rowsell, and Melanie Guy, 6 great-grandchildren Kyle and Shane Locke, Abigail & Madison Rowsell, Jennifer and Jonathan Guy and a large circle of relatives and friends. Capt.W. Hayward conducted the service at the Salvation Army Church, Little Bay Islands, January 2, 2006. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Little Bay Islands, NL. Pallbearers were, Neil Jenkins, David Rowsell, Ian Rowsell, Perry Locke, Jody Locke, and Rick Rowsell
