BLANCHARD, MYLES
Passed away December 2, 2002 after a lengthy illness, Myles Blanchard, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, age 51. Myles was born August 10, 1951 to Michael and Melissia Blanchard at Cox's Cove, NL. At an early age he began his teaching career which lasted 22 years until ill health caused his to resign. Leaving to mourn Pauline the mother of his children; sons Nathan (friend Wendy), Fort MacMurray, AB, Shane (friend Della), Scarbourough, ON and Keith (friend Jenna), Lloydminister, AB; daughter Erica, Springdale; a very special friend Mrs. Violet Small, Springdale; mother-in-law Ruby Young, Springdale; three sisters Janet (John), Cox's Cove, Ethel (Dave), Pasadena and Eva (John), Scarbourough, ON; four brothers Michael (Poppie), Stephenville, Patrick (Dinah), Fortune, Tony (Rita), Irishtown and Brian (Christine), Cox's Cove and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents Michael and Melissia Blanchard; infant sister Faith; grandparents Ethel and William Noseworthy and a number of uncles and aunts. Major Gary Butt conducted the funeral services at the Salvation Army Citadel, Springdale on December 4, 2002

ROBINSON, GEORGE,
KING'S POINT

It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Robinson announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home, Springdale on December 14, 2002 at the age of 76. George was a member of the Salvation Army Men's Fellowship and retired from Abitibi Price in 1991. Predeceased by his parents George and Emma Robinson; one sister and three brothers. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Rita; sons Clarence (Deloris), Toronto, ON, Jerry (Edna), King's Point, Bruce (Chloe), King's Point, Mervin (Colleen), Riverview, NB and John, King's Point and daughter Kathleen, King's Point. Also leaving to mourn brother Gerald Robinson; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Major Young conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army, King's Point on December 17, 2002. Interment was at the Interfaith Cemetery, King's Point. Pallbearers were his six children; Clarence, Jerry, Bruce, Mervin, John and Kathleen.
