SPURRELL, ALLAN KENT
Passed away August 11, 2011 at the Carbonear Hospital, Allan
Kent (Kent) Spurrell. Born March 6, 1963. Leaving to mourn with happy
memories and heavy hearts, his parents Rollie and Peggy of Carbonear, Daughter
Holly and her mother Bonnie Spurrell, Sister Laura Downey (children Jessica and
Adam (wife Krista) and beautiful niece Rachel Ella), Brother Jeff (Claudette)
and niece Jodie and Nephew Evan. Aunt Frances Chaytor (nee White) Aunt Audrey
Spurrell (nee Dawe), Aunt Olive Hillerich (nee Spurrell) and extended family
and friends. Cremation has taken place. Anyone wishing to honour his life may
donate to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Atlantic Division on his
behalf.
BOYLES, ESAU GEORGE
1926 - 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mr. Esau
George Boyles announce his passing at the Green Bay Health
Care Center in Springdale on August 11, 2011 at the
age of 84. Esau Boyles was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church.
He retired from George Warr Ltd. Predeceased by his sons, Gerald; Marshall;
and David. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Sadie; sons,
Clyde of Sundre, AB; Selby of South Brook; daughters, June (Dennis)
of South Brook; Bonnie (Michael) of Thompson, MB; Donna of South Brook;
Lisa (Andrew) of Port Perry, ON; and Ruby (Bill) of Grand Falls-Windsor.
Also leaving to mourn are 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Pastor Fred Randell conducted the funeral service at the Apostolic
Faith Church in South Brook on August 15, 2011. Interment was at the
Apostolic Faith Cemetery in South Brook. Pallbearers were his grandchildren,
Marshall; Jeremy; Mylo; Kenyon; Marcus; and Tyler. Funeral arrangements
were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Jim Maidment of Central Funeral
Homes.
VINCENT, WILBERT W.
1943 - 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mr. Wilbert
W. Vincent announce his passing at the L.A. Miller Centre
in St. John's on August 14, 2011 at the age of 68.
Wilbert was a member of The Salvation Army and the Gideons of Canada.
Wilbert retired from Newfoundland & Labrador Hydro, Bishop's Falls
in 1998. Predeceased by his parents, Ross and Sheila Vincent he leaves
with fond and loving memories his wife Beryl; son Jeff (Jennifer) of
Paradise; and daughter Janet (Guy) Lachance of Barrie, ON. Also leaving
to mourn are his grandchildren, Peter Vincent; Victoria Vincent; Nathan
Lachance; and Chloe Lachance; brothers and sisters, Sadie (Roy) Budgell;
Dexter (Jean) Vincent; Tephi (Harvey) Roberts; Capatol (Reid) Roberts;
Cluney (Marjorie) Vincent; Clarence (Eva) Vincent; Wanda (Bob) Burton;
Dale (Wayne) LeDrew; Landon (Wavey) Vincent; Purcie (Margaret) Vincent;
as well as many other relatives and friends. Major Morris Vincent conducted
the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel in Triton on August
18, 2011. Interment was at the Triton Interfaith Cemetery. Pallbearers
were Winston Woodford, Bram Rowsell, Bruce Williams, Aubrey Vincent,
Carter Roberts and Kerry Roberts. Honorary pallbearer was Byron Sceviour.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mike Goodyear, Jim Maidment
and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
SIMMS, HARVEY JOSIAH
1925 - 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harvey
Josiah Simms announce his passing at the Green Bay Health
Center in Springdale on August 22, 2011 at the age
of 85. Harvey was a member of the Triton Salvation Army Church. Harvey
retired from being cook, deckhand and first mate of the Clauster boat.
Predeceased by loving wife Ethel Simms; sons Otto and Glen; granddaughter
Amanda and brother Derrick. Left with fond and loving memories are
his sons: Rick (Marion) of Hearts Delight, Blaine (Dianna) of Springdale
and daughters: Fronie (Douglas) of Nova Scotia, Shirley (Kevin) of
Robert's Arm, Gloria (Gary) of Robert's Arm, Kelly (Reginald) of Triton,
Kimberly of Triton and Dianne of Robert's Arm. Also leaving to mourn
20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Majors Larry and Phyllis
Fudge conducted the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel
in Triton on August 26, 2011. Interment was at the Triton Community
Cemetery. Pallbearers were son-in-law Gary Rideout, son-in-law Kevin
Sheaves, granddaughter Maria Rideout, grandson-in-law Chris Payne,
boyfriend of granddaughter Marie, Jesse Heath and grandson-in-law Hughie
Osmond. Honorary pallbearer was granddaughter Jane Payne. Funeral arrangements
were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral
Homes.
MOORES, CLINTON LEO
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clinton
Leo Moores announces his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors
Home in Springdale on August 26, 2011 at the age of
42. Clinton Leo Moores was a member of the Salvation Army. He was a
Senior Soldier and also enjoyed the Men's Fellowship. Predeceased by
his brother Shiann; grandparents, Ernest and Fanny Moores and Albert
and Isabella Strickland. Left with fond and loving memories are his
parents, Ruby and Thomas Moores of Springdale; sister, Cavelle (Wayne)
Smith of Thompson, MB., nephews: Dameion (Vicki) Smith of Leaf Rapids,
MB., and Danny Smith of Leaf Rapids, MB. Also leaving to mourn a large
number of family and friends. Pastors Marvin and Vera Youden conducted
the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Pilley's Island
on August 29, 2011. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Pallbearers
were Wayne Smith, Albert Strickland, Niville Moores, Steven Rideout,
Roger Strickland and Todd Fifield. Funeral arrangements were entrusted

BLACKLER, JANICE FERN
1957 - 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Janice
Fern Blacker announce her passing at the Green Bay Health
Care Center in Springdale on August 30, 2011 at the
age of 53. Janice was a member of the Salvation Army. Janice was predeceased
by her sister June and brother-in-law Vince. Left with fond and loving
memories is her daughter Vanessa (Mitchell Gilliland). Also leaving
to mourn are her parents Harvey and Meta; brothers and sisters: Wade
(Brenda) of Winnipeg, Golda (Lud) of Springdale, Kurt (Karen) of Springdale,
Randy (Shirley) of Springdale, Dana (Lee) of Springdale, 14 nieces
and nephews, and 11 great-nieces and nephews. All whom she dearly loved,
as well as a large number of friends. Major Lindsay Oxford conducted
the funeral service from Central Funeral Homes in Springdale on Friday,
September 2, 2011. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Pallbearers
were her brothers Wade, Kurt and Randy; brother-in-law Ludwick Randell;
and nephews Trent Randell and Robbie Earle. Funeral arrangements were
entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral
Homes.
