TIZZARD, MARGARET RUTH
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Ruth Tizzard announce her passing at the GBHC in Springdale on August 8, 2005, at the age of 58. Left with fond and loving memories are son Perry (Suzanne) of Timberlea, N.S.; and daughters Tina of Kitchener, ON, Amanda of Kitchener, ON. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren Megan, Cailey and Joshua; sisters Mae Pittman and Winnie Payne; brothers Cyril Tizzard, Wilfred Tizzard and Wycliff Tizzard. Major F. Pittman and Major Carolyn Hale conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church on August 11, 2005. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wycliff Tizzard, Cyril Tizzard, Max Pittman, Tina Tizzard, Amanda Tizzard and Perry Tizzard.

ELLIOTT, NORMAN
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Norman Elliott announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale, on August 11, 2005 at the age of 90. Norman retired from construction in 1978. Predeceased by Geneva Elliott. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Alfred (Judy) of South Brook, NL, Wilson (Linda) of Jamestown, NL, Cecil of Ontario, John (Kathleen) of Dover, NL, Jim (Doris) of Hare Bay, NL, Bruce (Vera); daughter Violet (Wayne) of Triton, NL. Also leaving to mourn 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Pastor George Hilliard conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church in South Brook, on August 14, 2005. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearers were his sons Alfred, Wilson, Cecil, John, Jim; and grandson Jason.

POWER, BLANCHE THERESA
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Blanche Theresa Power announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Center in Springdale on August 19, 2005 at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by husband, Ned, sons, Frank &Gordon and parents, Frank & Rose Fifield. Left with fond and loving memories are daughters Marie Shea of Springdale, NL, Joan Emberley (George) of Labrador City, NL, Lillian Ryan (David) of Toronto, Ont Also leaving to mourn twin sister, Myrtle, three Brothers, Jack, Sidney & Gordon, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and large circle of friends and family. Bishop Martin Currie conducted the funeral service at the Roman Catholic Church, St. Patrick's on August 22, 2005. Interment was at the Roman Catholic Cemetery St. Patrick's. Pallbearers were: Charles Harris, Ron Bouzan, Joe Cleary, Greg Mercer, and Richard Power Hughie Shea.

BURT, MAUD ANNIE IRENE (Rideout)(nee Bowers)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maud Burt announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Center in Springdale on August 23, 2005 at the age of 87 years. Maud was a member of the Salvation Army Home League and Salvation Army Church, King's Point, NL. Predeceased by husbands, Frank Burt and Stanley Rideout; sons, Tony and Claude; daughter, Evangeline; son-in-laws, Tom Drake and Clarence Baldwin. Left with fond and loving memories are sons, Bennett Rideout (Malba) of King's Point, NL; Derrick Rideout (Karen) of King's Point, NL: Wayne Rideout (Theresa) of Winnipeg, Man; daughters, Golda Warford (Frank) of King's Point, NL; Geraldine Gillard (Gerald) of Harry's Harbour, NL; Pearl Sheppard (Wallace) of Embree, NL, Ada Healy (Patrick) of Nain, NL; Trixie Baldwin of Hamilton, Ont; Rhoda Thomas (Cyril) of Cormack, NL. Also leaving to mourn 36 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and large circle of family and friends. Captains Joshua and Pauline Randell conducted the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel, King's Point on August 26, 2005. Interment was at the old Salvation Army Cemetery, King's Point. Pallbearers were: Shawn Rideout, Sheldon Rideout, David Gillard, Jason Sheppard, David Drake and Dale Verge.

BURTON, HUBERT J.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hubert Jesse Burton announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Center in Springdale on August 27, 2005 at the age of 76 years. Hubert was a member of the Redemption Pentecostal Church, Port Anson, NL. Predeceased by mother and father Priscilla and John; sister, Melvina and daughter Glenda. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Joy; sons, Wade Burton (Louise) of Port Anson, Brian Burton (Millicent) of Port Anson, Shawn Burton (Roslyn) of Port Anson, Pierre Burton (Pat Ring) of Stanhope; daughter Melvina Morey (Melvin) of Miles Cove. Also leaving to mourn brothers, Baxter Burton (Leona), Selby Burton (Grace); sister, Bernice Rice (Roy); seven grandchildren, Morris and Michael Morey, Cind and Lee Burton, Matthew Burton, Trista and Tyler Burton; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Amber and large circle of family and friends. Pastor D. Curnew conducted the funeral service at the Redemption Pentecostal Church, Port Anson on August 29, 2005. Interment was at the Redemption Pentecostal Cemetery, Port Anson. Pallbearers were: sons, Shawn & Brian, grandsons, Michael & Morris Morey, brother-in-law, Carl Martin, son-in-law, Melvin Morey.
