STARKES, WESLEY DANIEL
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wesley Daniel Starkes announces his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on April 12, 2006 at the age of 87 years. Wesley was a member of the United Church Men's AOTS also of Notre Dame Masonic Lodge for 63 years. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy; parents Allan and Haggor Starkes; brothers, Albert and George. Left with fond and loving memories is his son, Allan Starkes (Diane) of La Scie, NL. Also leaving to mourn grandsons, Corey Starkes (Leanne) of La Scie, NL; Craig Starkes (Arlene) of Fort McMurray, AB; great grandchildren, Hillary, Whitney and Liberty all of La Scie, NL; sister, Alma Noble of Nipper's Harbour, NL; niece, Vera Andrews (Bert) of Springdale and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rev Betty Robbins conducted the funeral service from the Grace United Church in Springdale on April 15, 2006. Interment was at the Grace United Cemetery, Springdale. Pallbearers were all members of the Notre Dame Masonic Lodge, Maurice Budgell, Gerry Brett, Ken Ghaney, Raymond King, Ernest Paddock, Ted Robinson, Junior England and Vince Verge.

Boyles, Lloyd Jack
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Jack Boyles announces his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex in Springdale on April 27, 2006 at the age of 72 years. Lloyd was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church, South Brook. Predeceased by his wife Patricia Boyles, parents Fred and Gertrude Boyles. Left with fond and loving memories is his sons, Wade Boyle of Aurora,Ont., Dennis Boyles (Sylvia) of Centerville, NS,James Boyles (Michelle) of South Brook,NL.Daughters, Gertie Fowlow (Gordon) of South Brook, NL, Cindy Boyles of Ignace,Ont., Suzanne Boyles (Shawn) of South Brook, NL. Also leaving to mourn one brother George Boyles, 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Pastor Fred Randell conducted the funeral service from the Apostolic Faith Church in South Brook on April 30, 2006. Interment was at the Apostolic Faith Cemetery, South Brook. Pallbearers were Gideon Burton, Terry Croucher, Bruce Burton, Paul Newman, Arthur Boyd, and Selby Boyles.
