GLYNN, AGNES
West St. Modeste, Labrador

Passed peacefully away at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Oct. 2, 2003. She was in her 82nd year. Her remains went forward to the Roman Catholic Church in West St. Modeste from where the funeral mass and interment took place. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to K.M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony, Wilfred Hutchings, funeral director.

SNOW, MARGARET
St. Anthony

Passed peacefully away at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Oct. 6, 2003. She was in her 81st year. Margaret was born on Aug. 4, 1922 in St. Anthony to Ephriam and Naomi Simms. On Feb. 12, 1945, she married Alfred John Snow and together they raised five children and three grandchildren. On Monday Oct. 6, 2003 at 1 a.m., God needed another beautiful flower for His garden so He called her home. She leaves to mourn sons Edward (Vivian) Simms, Stan (Marjorie) Snow and Glen (Cora) Snow; daughters Naomi (the late Eric) Chubbs, Annie (Hubert) Macey and Vashti (Will Joe) Simmonds; grandchildren she raised Ken (Maureen) Snow, Deon (Tracy) Snow and Sue Snow (Elmer); 12 grandchildren; sisters Violet (Stewart) Andrews and Annie Patey; brother Ross (Emma) Simms, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Alfred (Sept. 2, 1995), sister Ruth Tucker, brother Harvey Simms, son-in-law Eric Chubbs and grandson Rodney Macey. Margaret will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her. We love you, Mom and Grandma. Visitation took place at the funeral home on West Street . The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct 9 at the Salvation Army Church in St. Anthony with Capt. Mouland officiating. Interment followed at the family plot in the old Salvation Army Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to K.M. Fillatre Funeral Home, Wilfred Hutchings, funeral director.

PILGRIM, AUBREY
Griquet

Passed peacefully away at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Oct. 10, 2003. He was in his 66th year. He leaves to mourn wife Margaret; sons Dean (Karen) and Miles (Sheri); daughters Vesper (Craig), Flora (Mike) and Candace (Kenneth); nine grandchildren Brandon, Cassandra, Marcus, Mackenzie, Danielle, Dagney, Danny, Desaree and Michaela; brothers Leonard (Jeanette), Eric (Winnie), Albert (Marjorie), Murdock (Darlene) and Fred (Carol); sisters Alice ( Harrison ), Millie (Calvin), Evelyn (Harold), Blanche (Bill), Betty, Levinia (Jim) and Leon , as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his mother Clara, father Wesley and brother Samuel. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Visitation took place at Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle in Griquet from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 13 with Pastor Andrews officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to K.M. Fillatre Funeral Home, Wilfred Hutchings, funeral director.

LETTO, BENJAMIN
L'Anse au Clair

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Benjamin Letto announce his passing on Friday, Oct. 10, 2003 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Sarah; son Grenfell (Donna); daughters Marie Letto (Manuel), Marguerite Cutler (Norman), Nellie Parsons (Jim) and Dale Davis (Barry); 14 grandchildren Daryl, Jason, Heather, Roderick, Gary, Jackie, Colin, Michelle, Jamie, Ian, Ryan, Robert, Joy and Jordan; 12 great-grandchildren Rebecca, Amy, Trisha, Colby, Aaron, Kyla, Page, Conner, Renee, Ryan, Jessica and Jayden; sisters Martha, Jessie, Evelyn and Rose; brothers George and Sted, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation took place at St. Andrews Church , L'Anse au Clair on Saturday evening and Sunday from where the funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 13 with Rev. Canon Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Corner Brook.

LINSTEAD, ROSIE
L'Anse au Loup

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rosie Linstead announce her passing on Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at the age of 83 years. Leaving behind to treasure her memory daughters Jessie Normore (Josiah-deceased), Sarah Normore (Gordon), Vivian Buckle (Bill), Winnie Barney (Alfred), Greta Roberts (Harold), Elsie Earle (Derrick); sons Clayton (Maggie) and Ewart (Sharlene); 27 grandchildren Barbara, Royle, Rodney, Elva, Alison, Roderick, Yvonne, Wilson, Morley, Sheldon, Kerry, Stephen, Vernon, Darren, Lorinda, Dana, Philip, Deanne, Harley, Joy, Lindsay, Trent, Katrina, Christopher, Elizabeth, Dexter and Francine; 45 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister Mrs. Pearl Fowler, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Percy in 1981, three brothers, three sisters, one step-sister, one stepbrother and two granddaughters. Visitation took place at the English Point Gospel Hall on Saturday and Sunday. The funeral service was held at L'Anse au Loup Gospel Hall at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 20 with Mr. Albert Joyce and Mr. Alex Dryburgh officiating. Interment followed at Gospel Hall Cemetery , L'Anse au Loup. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, L'Anse au Loup.

PAYNE, ANNIE CLARISSA
Parsons Pond
Born June 17, 1932- Born again Sept. 9, 1960
Went to be with the Lord Oct. 19, 2003

Passed away peacefully at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Annie Payne at the age of 71 years. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Carl; children Jocelyn (Myles) Payne, Carson Payne and Gail (Thane) Deagle; grandchildren Chantel and Cavelle Payne, Thana and Nigel Deagle; brothers Simon (Claudine) and Edgar (Ura) Brown; sisters Mae (Aubrey) Decker and Rosie (Melvin) Gilley; brothers-in-law Simeon Payne, Stewart Parsons and Samuel (Karen) Payne; sisters-in-law Rhoda (Graham) Payne and Ina Payne, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Arch and Martha Brown, parents-in-law Edward and Rose Ellen Payne, sisters-in-law Violet Payne and Barbara Parsons, and niece Clara Brown. Friends visited the Gospel Hall, Parsons Pond on Tuesday from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22 with Mr. Burt Joyce officiating. Interment followed at the Gospel Hall Cemetery , Parsons Pond. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd., Corner Brook . The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website at www.fillatre.ca

RUMBOLT, GARY
Mary's Harbour
1962-2003

The sudden passing occurred on Oct. 27, 2003 at Englee. He was hin his 41st year. Left to mourn his common-law wife Maxine; daughters Dinah and Debbie; sisters Doreen (Guy) Rumbolt and Joan Rumbolt; brothers Wallace (Susan), Bruce (Linda), Lemuel (Lillian), Gerald (Genieve), Melvin, Donald (Myrtle), Dolf (Patsy) and Andrew. He was predeceased by father Lorenzo, mother Mary and brothers Henry and Roger. His remains went forward by motor hearse to the Anglican Church in Mary's Harbour from where the funeral service and interment took place. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to K.M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony, Wilfred Hutchings, funeral director.

KIPPENHUCK, ROBERT JAMES
Port Hope Simpson
Sept. 30, 1925 - Oct. 27, 2003

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert Kippenhuck announce his passing on Oct. 27, 2003 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders. He was in his 78th year. Leaving to mourn sons Melvin (Della), Clifford (Stella), Donald (Marjorie), Harvey (Susan) and Boyd (Kim); daughters Pansy (Bill), Nancy ( Roy ), Velma (Ford), Carol (Barry) and Darlene (Denley); brothers Clayton (Daisy), Royden (Thelma) and Bill (Evelyn), and a large circle of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Annie and daughters Mable and Emma. The family received friends at the Pentecostal Church in Port Hope Simpson on Wednesday and Thursday from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31 with Pastor Claude Kippenhuck officiating. Interment followed at the Pentecostal Cemetery . As expressions of sympathy flowers were graciously accepted or donations can be made to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website at www.fillatre.ca
