Passed peacefully away on Monday, November 5th, 2018 at the Health Sciences Centre, Gerald Genge, age 67 years. Predeceased by his parents Isaac and Jane Genge, sister, Judy Mclean. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Rubena (nee Upshall); daughter, Melanie Perrier (Dwayne); son, Gerald (Melissa); his adoring grandsons: Mathew and Cody Perrier; sister Augustine Dredge (Daniel); brothers: Martin Genge (Donna), Stan (Winnie), Ike (Pamela) and Clarence (Winnie); brother-in-law, Percy Mclean. He will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 9th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Matthew's Church, Anchor Point, NL. Interment to follow in St. Matthew's Anglican Cemetery, Anchor Point. PARRILL, Virtue (nee White)

With sadness we announce the passing of the late Virtue Parrill (nee White) on November 6, 2018. Born on Friday, April 15, 1927 in Sandy Cove, Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late William and Rhoda (nee: Caines). Survived by her loving and devoted husband Douglas of 61 years, children Roland (Cindy), Geneva (Rocky), Douglas (Virginia); grandchildren Stephen (Crystal), Ross, Natasha Virtue (Neil), Stephanie (Spencer); great-grandchildren Samuel, Bryson, Abigail, Maeve, Eva; brother George William; siblings-in-law Wilga, Ivany (Rita) Parrill, Catherine Parrill, Eliza Parrill, Esther Elliott. Including her parents and parents-in-law, she was predeceased by siblings and siblings-in-law Eldred (Dora),John, Rosie, Anthony (Cinderella), Rita (Elias) Coles, Gertrude White, Ethelbert Parrill, Frances (John) McLean, John Parrill and Arthur Elliott. Family accepted visitors at Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Road, St. Johns) on Thursday, November 8 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. In keeping with the personal wishes of Virtue, cremation has taken place and was followed by a Memorial Service in the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 10 at 11:00 am.
