BROWN, Annie Georgina
It is with great regret, that the family of the late Annie Georgina Brown (nee Pollard) of Englee, NL, age 83, announce her passing at the Hoyles-Escosoni Home, St. John's, on May 20, 2011, after a lengthy illness of Alzheimer's. Annie is predeceased by husband Harold, son Kevin, parents Alfred and Margaret Pollard, granddaughters Amy-Ann and Sharmein, and sister Audrey. Annie leaves to mourn daughters Eileen (Freeman Pope), Jean (George O'Reilly), Barbara (Alvin Cull), and Linda (Reuben Pollard); sons Ronald Brown and Wayne (Gladys) Brown; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, brothers, and other relatives and friends. The funeral service will take place at Englee United Church on Thursday, June 16, at 2 p.m. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery, Englee. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Annie's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Newfoundland and Labrador. FILLIER, Clancey Silas
Passed away peacefully at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, Mr. Clancey S. Fillier of Englee, NL, in his 87th year. Mr Fillier leaves with a lifetime of memories, his dear wife Ethel; nine children Alex (Bessie), Flo (Richard Kenny), Edgar (Betty), Jack (Patsy), Doris (Bob Gaulton), Junior (Ruth Jefferies), Eugene, Morgan (Lisa) and Kirby (Roxanne Frieda), as well as 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; also his brothers Reginald (Lucy), and Alvin (Shirley). Clancey was predeceased by his parents Aubrey and Patience, his brother Sandy, and his sisters Ida, Gladys and Daisy. Visitation was held at the Faith Pentecostal Church in Englee from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17 with Pastor Ivan Boone officiating. Burial followed in the Pentecostal Cemetery, Englee. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

FOWLER, Trevor Dorman
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Trevor Fowler of L'Anse au Loup, NL, announce his sudden passing in Lourdes de Blanc Sablon on May 31, 2011 at the age of 24 years. Leaving behind to treasure his memory Mom Morenda French, Graham and brothers Tyler and Ryan; Dad Dorman Fowler, Marina, Connie and Scott; grandparents Clifford and Glenora Buckle and Maria Belben (Josiah Belben-deceased), and a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitors were received at the L'Anse au Loup Gospel Hall on Friday from where the funeral took place on Saturday, June 4, at 3:30 p.m. with Mr. Jim Jarvis and Mr. Edward Barney officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery in L'Anse au Loup. As expressions of sympathy flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, L'Anse au Loup.

GAULTON, Rebecca Louisa

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rebecca Gaulton (June 28, 1928 - May 15, 2011) of Flowers Cove, NL, announce her passing on Sunday, May 16, 2011 at the John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony in her 82nd year. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, son Val (Ruby) Gaulton; daughter Abigail (Rendell Diamond); grandchildren Darius (Sharon) Diamond, Judy (Melvin) Whalen, Hank (Nancy), Kimberly Butcher and Rennie Diamond; great-grandchildren Matthew, Crystal and Ross Whalen, Chloe and Sara Diamond, also a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Timothy, parents James and Maria Allingham, sons Douglas Allingham and Joseph Gaulton, grandsons Gaius and Absalom Diamond. Visitation took place from the United Church in Flowers Cove on Tuesday from where the funeral service took place on Wednesday May 18 at 2 p.m. Interment followed at the family plot. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Peter Ingram of Daniel's Harbour, NL, announce his passing on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Corner Brook Long Term Care Home, at the age of 65 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his sister Marguerite (Edward) Childs; nieces Diane (Myles) Humber, Pamela (Phillip) Motty and Sandra Russell; great-nieces and nephews Miranda Ford, Mitchell Motty, Robyn Motty, Angie Russell and Andrew Russell; cousin Hilda Tuff; aunt Marigold Hulan; uncle Eric House, as well as other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Clyde and Diane Ingram, and brother Robert. Visitation took place at Holy Cross Anglican Church, Daniel's Harbour on Friday evening and Saturday, from where the funeral service was held on Sunday, May 29 at 2 p.m. with The Rt. Rev. Leonard Whitten officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations may be made to Holy Cross Anglican Church Memorial Fund. LETTO, Mary Alice

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Alice Letto (April 3, 1948 - May 14, 2011) of L'Anse au Clair, NL, announce her passing on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 63 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Phil; daughter Ginger (Colin); son Philip (Beverly); grandchildren Aiden, Nicholas and Nicole; father Mack Kennedy; sisters Peggy (Clyde), Annette and Claire; brother Robert, as well as a large circle of other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her mother Louisa Kennedy. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 18 at 2 p.m. at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, L'Anse au Clair with the Rev. Norman Cutler officiating. MITCHELMORE, Royal Lancelott
Passed away peacefully at Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, Royal Mitchelmore (March 5, 1936 - May 25, 2011) of Pollard's Pont, NL, on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at the age of 75 years. He leaves to mourn his special friend, Lovetta; his daughters Yvonne (Clyde) and Tracy (Ed); seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his brothers George (Marie), Pascoe and Stanley; his sisters Olga (Lewis) and Daisy (George), also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Royal was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Bessie, his brother Wyman Pascoe, sister Yvonne, granddaughter Tracy and great-grandson, Jacob. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 12 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Lower Cove with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel, Deer Lake.

NORTHCOTT, Harold
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Northcott of Port au Choix, NL, announce his passing at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders on Monday, May 30, 2011 in his 91st year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters Bernice, Yvett (Dave), Jenny (George), Brenda (Ed), Peggy (Nath), Vicki (Owen) and Connie; sons Paul (Anita), Gary (Masie) and Romeo (Bonnie); daughter-in-law Florence; 22 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Euphrasia (Diddy) and son Gerard. The family received friends at Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Funeral Service took place at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, June 2 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Lee Lainey officiating, with cremation to follow. PENNEY, Viola Dulcie
Passed away peacefully at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on May 20, 2011, Mrs. Viola Dulcie Penney of St. Anthony, NL, in her 87th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Lee; son Gene (Joann); grandchildren Joetta, Geoffrey, Joshua, and Carrol Ann; step-grandchildren Leann and Jeffery; sister Bertha Rodriquez; brothers Jack and Don Diamond; and great- grandchildren Delaney and Paige. She was predeceased by her husband Clem, her parents John Dan and Bertha Diamond, her four brothers Val, Ira, Ray, and Sam, and two sisters Annie and Gladys. Visitation was held at Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home in St. Anthony. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 24 at the St. Anthony Kingdom Hall. Interment followed at the Fishing Point United Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

PIEROWAY, Ericka Lisa
In loving memory of Ericka Lisa Pieroway (nee House), Nov. 19, 1967 - May 20, 2011, age 43 years of Grande Prairie Alberta, (formerly of Daniel's Harbour, NL). It is with profound sadness that the family announce her sudden passing on Friday, May 20, 2011 at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Grande Prairie, Alberta, beloved wife of Brent Pieroway; cherished mother of daughter Megan Pieroway; dear daughter of Guy and Vera House of Daniel's Harbour; loving sister of brother Marlow (Kelly) House of St. John's; and sister of Laura (Don House) of Grande Prairie, Alberta; cherished daughter-in-law of Nina and Ed Pieroway of Corner Brook; loving sister-in-law of Brenda Pieroway (Ben Strickland) of Corner Brook; and brother-in-law Bruce (Phyllis) Pieroway of Daniel's Harbour; her grandfather-in-law Arch Biggin of Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility; also fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends who were blessed to have know her. Ericka was predeceased by her grandparents Fannie and Gordon Payne, Ada and Freeman House, Ed and Eileen Pieroway, and Evelyn Biggin. The family received family and friends from the Holy Cross Anglican Church in Daniel's Harbour on Wednesday, May 25, from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday, May 26, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. from where the funeral service took place on Friday, May 27, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jean Brenton Hickman officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery in Daniel's Harbour. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63, North Main Street, Deer Lake. POOLE, Hubert
It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Hubert Poole (Dec. 26, 1925 - May 25, 2011), of St. Lewis, NL, announce his passing on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Long Term Care facility in Forteau. He was 85 years old. Hubert leaves to mourn his loving wife Doris of 63 years; daughters Lucy, Loretta, Hazel (Bert), Carrie, Betty (Donald), and Louise (Winston); sons Eric (Loraine), Ross (Agnes), Ivan, Barry (Jenny), Alton (Emily), and Freeman, and over 50 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Hubert was predeceased by father James, mother Mary, son Lester, and brothers James and Leander. The family service took place at the Poole household, Pauline Russell officiated. The funeral service took place at St. Mark the Evangelist, St. Lewis, with Rev. Irene Sutton officiating. We kindly extend our thanks to all who have supported us during this time.

RANDELL, Sterling James
Passed away suddenly at his home in Roddickton, NL, on May 12, 2011, Mr. Sterling James Randell, in his 69th year. Sterling leaves to mourn his loving wife of 48 years Louise; his sons Robert (Tammy) in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Ricky and Kenneth in St. Johns; his daughters Ellen (Dwight) Randall in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and Christine Letemplier in Fort McMurray, Alberta; his brothers Robert (Millie) in Bay Roberts, Fred (Minnie) in Burgeo, John (Velda) in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Reuben in Fox Trap; his sisters Alma Grandy in Bay Largent, Lucy (Robert) Hayter in Gander, Isabella (Paul) Smith in Long Pond, Dorothy (Kevin) Nash in Flin Flon, Manitoba, Margaret Peddle in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and Annie (Ralph) Bachuman in Fox Trap, along with his three grandchildren Gavin, Blair, and Erica and one great-grandchild Logan. Visitation was held at the Apostolic Faith Church in Roddickton from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, with Rev. Rene S. Cassell officiating. Burial followed the service in the new Apostolic Faith Cemetery in Roddickton. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. RUSSELL, Norman John
Passed peacefully away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on May 11, 2011, Mr. Norman John Russell of William's Harbour, NL, in his 80th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sisters Laura Flynn, and Clara Russell; brothers William Russell, Freeman (Rosalind) Russell, Howard (Dorothy) Russell, George (Louise) Russell, and Redgeway (Valerie) Russell, and a large circle of nieces and nephews including a wide circle of friends. He was predeceased by his mother and father Levinia and William, his sister Susie Sooley, brothers Albert, Jacob, Melvin, and Robert, brothers-in-law Thompson Flynn and Jacob Hill. Visitation was held at the St. Andrew's Anglican Church in William's Harbour followed by the funeral service at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 16. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

SAMSON, Conrad
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Conrad Samson of Reef's Harbour, NL, announce that he passed away peacefully at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on May 4, 2011 in his 60th year. Leaving to mourn children Kim, and Connie; grandchildren Jadea, Tucker, Autum, and Amber; brothers Tom (Jessie), and Kevin (Ruth); sisters Barbara, and Elsie (Grant); sisters-in-law Bernice, Pam (Hiram), Cindy (Dave), and Patsy (Andy); brothers-in-law Wilson, and David (Diane); son-in-law Rocky and a large circle of friends. The funeral service took place on Saturday, May 7 at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Advent, Plum Point with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. Interment of ashes followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Reef's Harbour. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. WHITE, Dora
Passed peacefully away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, Dora White of Sandy Cove, NL, age 90 years. She leaves loving memories behind to her daughter Daisy, son-in-law Bill and granddaughter Melanie Gibbons. She was predeceased by husband Eldred, grandson Stefan Eldred (Gibbons), father Emmanuel White, and mother Emily (née Woodward) who lived in Reef's Harbour. She was the last of her siblings: Margaret Beaudion, Eliza Gould, Leah Coombs, Stella Coles, Elijah White and twin brother Joseph Hubert White. Visitation took place at St. Thomas Anglican Church at her home in Sandy Cove and at the homes of her nephew Harrison White and niece Geneva Woodward (Rocky). Rev. Marlene Harvey officiated at the family service on Thursday, May 5 with assistance from Lay Minister, Joyce White. Gloria White played the organ, and her two nieces Lucy Coles and Joy White sang at the service. The celebration of her life took place at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 6 with Rev. Marlene Harvey, Rev. Vallus and her niece Geneva Woodward (Lay Minister) officiating. Readings were done by her great-niece Trudy Coles and nephew Roland Parrill. The burial followed the service at the cemetery in Savage Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

WHITE, Madlyn Glayds Irene
Passed away peacefully surround by her family at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, Mrs. Gladys Irene White of Noddy Bay, NL, in her 84th year. Madlyn leaves to mourn her sister Sadie Pilgrim; her children Lendo (Marcie), Glenfield (Shirley), Linda (Sam), Wavey (Donald), Ina (Garfield), Marilyn (Boyd), and Lester (Mazie); her grandchildren Tracey, Bonnie (Wayne), Paul, Chad (Kelly), Bambi (Steve), Brian (Victoria), Brad (Crystal), Craig, Jennifer (Bob), Terri, Colin, and Camille, as well as her great-grandchildren Meagan, Michael and Keegan. Madlyn was predeceased by her husband Clarence, her sisters Olive and Rhoda, and her brother Ralph. Visitation was held at the Central United Church at Quirpon branch, from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, with Rev. Gus Pendleton officiating and Fred Bussey as accordionist. Burial followed the service in the Quirpon Community Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
