Passed away on May 3, 2004 at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St.
Anthony. She was in her 85th year. She leaves to mourn children Joseph,
Simon (Ethel), John (Georgina), Alice (Austin) and Melena (Pat); grandchildren
Kit (Mike), Austin (Jackie), Clin (Sandra), Kirby (Leny), Simon, Jarvis (Karen),
Elvis (Danielle), Nadine (Dean) and Darryl (Matilda), nine great-grandchildren;
brothers and sisters Michael J. (Bertha), Christopher (Bridgette), Primas (Irene),
Joe (Marie), Mary Alice (Moses), Florence (Edmond), Theresa (Maxwell) and Melena
(Pius). She was predeceased by her husband Simon Sr., son Michael John, sister
Nellie, brother James (Lavenia), and parents James and Theresa Pittman. Visitation
was held at the Roman Catholic Church in Bird Cove from where the funeral service
took place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5 with Fr. Jack officiating. Interment
followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to K.M.
Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony, Wilfred Hutchings, funeral director.
McLEAN, ROBERT WILSON

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert
Mclean announce
his passing on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at Rufus Guinchard Health
Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 47 years. Left to mourn his wife Alma;
children Calleta, Brittany and Bobby; sister Jane; stepsister Paula (Wade)
Gould of Bear Cove; stepbrother Myles (Cindy) Sheppard of Cole Harbour, Nova
Scotia; mother Hepsey Sheppard of Brig Bay, as well as a large circle of other
relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ellen and Nelson Mclean.
The family received friends at St. Thomas Becket Anglican Church on Sunday
and Monday. The funeral service took place at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic
Church in Port au Choix at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11 with Capt. Jason Haggstrom
officiating. Interment followed at Doctors Brook Cemetery. As expressions of
sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted or donations can be made to a charity
of one's choice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral
Home, Port au Choix.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Treena
Decker announce
her sudden passing on Sunday, May 16, 2004 at the Health Science
Complex in St. John's. She was in her 31st year. She leaves to mourn
her spouse Kevin; daughter Kayla; father Weldon (Audrey); brothers Brad (Linda),
Brian, Don and Neil, as well as a large circle of other family and friends.
She was predeceased by her mother Selma. Visitation took place at the United
Church in Ship Cove from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday,
May 20 with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. Interment followed in the church

ANDREWS, BERT JOSEPH CLAYTON

April 22, 1942 - May 22, 2004
Passed peacefully away at White Bay Central Health Centre in Roddickton on
May 22, 2004. He was in his 56th year. He leaves to mourn
his wife Mae; daughters Denna (Jeffery) Fillier, Elaine (Robin House) Andrews
and Bonnie (Paul) Keats; grandchildren Kerry, Kendra, Nicholas and Alexandra;
mother Evelyn Andrews; brothers Winston (Stella), Ted (Wavey) and Boyde (Bernadette);
sister Margaret (Grant) Simms, as well as a circle of other family and friends.
Visitation took place at the Faith Pentecostal Assembly in Englee from where
the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25 with Pastors Willie
and Myrtle Angell officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral

Regina of Port Saunders; grandchildren Stephen, Tim, Chelsea, Leah, Darren,
Terrilynn, Sheldon, Jason, Shelley, Treena, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Heather, Angela,
Christopher, Christy and Cameron; great-grandchildren Cheyanne, Tyler, Megan,
Matthew, Christian, Nicholas, Drew, Luke, Ryan, Logan, Mackenzie, Natasha and
Justin, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased
by his son Jeffrey, grandson Christian and daughter-in-law Peggy. The family
received friends at St. John the Divine Anglican Church in Port Saunders on
Monday and Tuesday from where the funeral service took place at 11 a.m. on
Wednesday, May 26 with Capt. Jason Haggstrom officiating. Interment followed
in the Interfaith Cemetery in Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers
were graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers Roland (Ettie) Randell and
Fred Randell; sister Melah (Walter) Janes, as well as a large circle of other
family and friends. Visitation was held at the United Church in Roddickton
from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 29 with
Rev. Karl Arnold officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral

28, 2004. She was in her 78th year. She leaves to mourn husband
Edmund; children Irene (Mike), Selina (Ben), Theresa (Eugene), Lily (Jim), Florence
(Ron), Verna (Tom), Edmund, Wilson, Clement (Theresa) and Nicholas; brothers
James (Lavina), Michael John (Bertha), Chris (Bridget), Prim (Irene) and Joe
(Marie); sisters Mary Alice (Mose), Theresa (Max) and Melina (Pius); daughter-in-law
Melissa (Ross); 21 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; home care workers
Regina and Lydia; good friends Jake and Viv and Fr. Jack, as well as a large
circle of other family and friends. Visitation was held at the Roman Catholic
Church in Bird Cove from where the funeral mass took place at 1 p.m. on Monday,
May 31 with Fr. Jack officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
