BARTLETT, Leonard
Passed peacefully away at the John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony on the 12th of March 2015, Mr. Leonard Mark "Coach" Bartlett of St. Lunaire-Griquet in his 67th year. Left to mourn are his brother Gerard (Bernice); sisters Linda and Agnes (Francis); nephews Christopher, Clay, Murray, and Jason; nieces Joanne, and Nadine as well as a large circle of other family and friends. Visitation took place at the funeral home in St. Anthony, followed by the funeral service, which was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 at the Roman Catholic Church in St. Lunaire- Griquet with Fr. Vitus Echedo officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

DREDGE, Clifford
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mr. Clifford Dredge announces his sudden passing on March 21, 2015, in his 58th year. He leaves to mourn with heavy hearts his son Clifford Jr. (Amanda); daughter Laura (Chuck); granddaughters Shelby, Halie, and Bella; grandsons Cody and C.J.; sisters Mona (Gerald) and Marjorie (William); brother Steve, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Grace, father Absalom Sr., mother Rachel, mother-in-law Debbie, father-in-law Donald, brothers-in-law Maxwell Gould, Albert Spence, and George Spence, nephew Kenneth Spence Jr., and niece Shara. Visitation took place at St. Mary's Anglican Church in Black Duck Cove from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 27, with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

EDDISON, Emma Jane
Passed away into peace on the 16th of March, 2015 at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony in her 88th year, Mrs. Emma J. Eddison. Left to mourn are her children Grenfell (Marie), Winston (Christine), Jim (Wanda), Rose Tucker (Rick), Mazie (Lester), Wavey Hedderson (Clarence), Kevin (Gloria), and Cassie Edison-Huntley (Steven); 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sisters Annie and Fannie; brother Pleman as well as a large circle of friends and family. Emma was predeceased by her mother Lucinda and father Reuben, husband Robert, four brothers and two sisters. Visitation took place the Central United Church at Quirpon Branch, from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 20 with Rev. Dinesh Gomes officiating. Burial followed the service at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements where entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

GENGE, Minnie Mae
Passed on: March 8th, 2015

Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 8th of March 2015, Minnie Mae Genge of Anchor Point in her 99th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sons James (Susie-deceased), Rufus (Sophia), Cecil (Olivia), and Rendell (Bertha); daughters Marion (Steve), Bernice (Winston), Mildred (Cyril), and Eleanor (Robert-deceased); 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; sisters Annie Field, Casandra Penney, Amelia Nichols, and Virtue Mouland as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Genge, granddaughter Petrina Genge, grandson Rufus Genge, mother Amelia Field, father James Field, sisters Else, Rhoda, and Dora, and brothers Arthur, Sandy, and George, son-in-law Robert and daughter-in-law Susie. Visitation was held at St. Matthew's Anglican Church in Anchor Point from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11 with Reverend Irving Letto officiating. Interment followed at the old Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

GOULD, Angus Coombs
Passed peacefully away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on the 17th day of March, 2015, Mr. Angus Coombs Gould in his 71st year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons Alvin (Mary), Roland (Myrtle), and Wade (Paula); daughter Lorraine (Clay) Taylor; grandchildren Gavin C. Gould (Chasity), Sheldon C. Gould (Kayla), Ashley Taylor (Marlin), Clay Taylor Jr.( Courtnay), Keirsten C. Gould (Brandon), and Christopher C. Gould (Kiana); great-grandchildren Anna C. Gould, Chace Williams Gibbons, Keegan Dyck, Kate C. Gould; Jarvis Genge, partner of Colleen C. Gould. He was predeceased by his wife Viola and daughter Colleen. Visitation was held at the St. Boniface Anglican Church in Bear Cove from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Sunday March 22 with Rev. Irving Letto officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

HURLEY, Margaret
Passed away peacefully at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on the 12th day of March, 2015, Mrs. Margaret Hurley in her 70th year. Leaving to mourn with fond loving memories her husband of 53 years Frederick Hurley; her two sons Gerard (Joan) Hurley, and Francis Hurley; her two daughters Madonna (Kevin Sr.) Reardon and Elizabeth (Gerry) Flynn; grandchildren Charlene (Dustin) Blake, Jonathan Flynn (Megan), Terri-Lynn Reardon (Justin), Kirk Whalen, Kevin Reardon (Monica), and Jamie Flynn; great-grandchildren Keira and Frederick Blake, and Lily Flynn; brother Hubert (Fannie) Joy, as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Visitation was held at the Sacred Heart Church in Conche from where the funeral mass was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 16 with Fr. Lourdhu Madanu officiating. Interment followed in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crouse. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

REID, Ethel
Passed peacefully away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on the 20th day of March 2015, Mrs. Ethel Reid in her 84th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Ludwick Reid, Englee; daughters Doris (Clement) Randell, Englee, June Newhook, Labrador City, Patsy (Raymond) Cassell, Roddickton, Marilyn (Darrell) King, Labrador City, and Sybil Reid, Barrie, Ontario; son Edwin (Pastor Marjorie) Reid, Fort McMurray, Alberta; sister Ruby Randell, Englee; brothers Spurgeon (Marie) Randell, Englee, Claude (Jean) Randell, Englee, Beaton (Shirley) Randell, Corner Brook, and Boyce (Alma) Randell, Englee; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Albert Thomas Randell and Florence Cassell. Visitation took place at the Apostolic Faith Church in Englee from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24 with Pastor George Burton officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

WHITE, Absalom
Passed peacefully away at the John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony on the 16th Day of March, 2015, Mr. Absalom White of in his 73rd year. Left to mourn his passing are his sister Mary (Clyde) Applin; sister-in-law Augustine White; nieces Annett (Wilfred) Baines and family, Marlene (Kev) Strangemore; nephews Clyde Jr. (Edna) Applin and family, Curtis(Dulcie) and family and Tyrone White, as well as many other family and friends. Absalom was predeceased by his parents Elijah and Nellie White, and his brother Leslie. Visitation took place at St. Margaret's Anglican Church in Reef's Harbour, from where the funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18 with Rev. Harold Harvey and layperson Bernice Baines officiating. Cremation followed the service with burial to be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

WHITE, Lillian
Passed peacefully away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on the 16th day of March, 2015, Mrs. Lillian White in her 77th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons Louis (Michelle), Whyman (Denise), Albert (Blanche), and Bruce (Loretta); grandchildren Bradley (Selina), Brandon (Jennifer), Heather, Chantelle, Tyler, Shana, Rebecca, and Sarah; great-grandsons Brayden, Colton, and Jaxon; daughter-in-law Linda; brother Amos; sisters Frances (Gerry), and Margarite (Elam); sister-in-law Maria White, and Thamise (Levi) Normore; brother-in-law Wilfred Baines. She was predeceased by her husband George Henry, son Amos Leslie, grandson Zachery, her parents Matthew and Sophie Genge. Visitation took place at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Sandy Cove from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015 with Rev. Marlene Harvey and layperson Joyce White officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery in Savage Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
