BILES, LUKE
St. Anthony

It is with great sadness
and sorrow that the family of the late Luke Biles announce his passing. In
the presence of his family, he passed peacefully away at the age of 82 years
on June 8, 2005 at the John M. Gray Centre, St. Anthony, where he had been
a resident for the past four years. Luke was born in St. Anthony to Asa and
Fanny Biles and was the youngest of seven children. He married Blanche Patey
of St. Anthony Bight on Jan 1,1946. He worked for Fishery Products for 35 years
and retired in January 1988. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Blanche of
59 years; sister Janet Dawe; three special girls, Kathy, Vicki and Patti-Lynn;
a large circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom he loved
very dearly, as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation
took place at the funeral home on West Street. Funeral services were held at
2 p.m. on Saturday, June 11 at the St. Anthony United church with Rev. John
McGonigle officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Flowers were
graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to K. M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony,
Wilfred Hutchings, funeral director.
BELBIN, RANDY VINCENT
Red Bay
It is with great sadness that the family of
the late Randy Belbin announce his passing at Red Bay on June
10, 2005 at the
age of 26 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his parents Lewis and
Marlene Belbin; sisters Shannon and Viki; grandparents Grace Belbin, Harold
and Goldie Ryan, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. Visitors
were received at the United Church in Red Bay on Sunday from were the funeral
service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 13 with Rev. Carl Arnold officiating.
Interment followed in the church cemetery in Red Bay. As expressions of sympathy,

It is
with great sadness that the family of the late Davie Cassell announce his
passing on Monday, June 13, 2005 at his residence in Corner Brook at the age
of 46 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother Flossie
Cassell of Englee; sisters Melvina Fillier and Melita Fillier, both of Englee
and Rose Maloney (Darryl) of Pasadena; brothers Roland of Englee and Morgan
(Darlene) of Pasadena, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his father Chesley and brother Harrison. Visitation took
place at the Apostolic Church in Englee on Tuesday and Wednesday from where
the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 16 with Pastor Quinlan
officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy,

SUSANNAH D.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Susannah
D. Fillier announce her passing at Western Regional Memorial Hospital
on
Friday, June 10 in her 85th year. She will be
sadly missed by her loving sons Wilfred (Rudy), Guy (Dianne) and Christopher
(Mavis); daughters Verna (Roy) and Ruth; brother Cecil Pollard; 16 grandchildren;
12 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Frederick on July 12, 1987 and her son
Dale June 30, 2001. Visitation took place on Saturday at Parsons Funeral
Home in Deer Lake and Sunday at the funeral home in Roddickton. The funeral
service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 13 at the Salvation Army Church
in Englee with Capt. Blaine Hopkins officiating. Interment followed at the
family plot in Roddickton. Be request of the family in lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to the Salvation Army Building Fund in Englee or the Newfoundland
and Labrador Down Syndrome Society. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to

Passed away suddenly at his home in Quirpon
on June 16, 2005, Clayton Henry Patey, age 60 years. Leaving to mourn with
fond and loving memories his wife Karen; daughter Tara (Mark Ryan); son Terry;
father Jacob; brothers Donald (Grace) and Enos (Karen); sisters Stella (Ralph)

number of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Baxter

Passed peacefully
away at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on June 17, 2005 in
his 49th year. He leaves to mourn mother Madeline; brothers Clyde, Douglas and
Winston; sisters Hazel, Nellie, Della and Vivian, as well as a circle of other
relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Samuel, brother Philip
and sisters Doreen and Elsie. Visitation took place at St. Andrew's Anglican
Church in Port Hope Simpson from where the funeral service was held on Monday,

22, 2005 at his residence
surrounded by his family at the age of 71 years. Left to mourn with fond
and loving memories his beloved wife Ivy (nee Young); children Doreen Tucker
( Bob Roberts), Garry (Donna) and Faron of Norris Point, Keith (Shirley)
of Fort McMurray and Boyd (Kylie) of Brooklin, Ontario; grandchildren Jamie

friends. Henry was predeceased by his parents Martin and Margaret, brother

family and friends on Thursday at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Norris
Point from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 24
with Rev. John Olsen officiating. Interment followed in the family plot of
the church cemetery in Norris Point. Donations to a charity of one's choice

25, 2005, Cecil Pike age 83 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories

Lexie Maddocks (Derrick) of St. John's and Myr Pike (Earl Scanlan) of Halifax;

(Meta), Hubert (Thelma), Gladys Yetman (Leonard), Harrison (Peggy), Sterling
(Julie), and Raymond Smith (foster child); 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren
and sister Evelyn Letto, as well as a large circle of family and friends. She
was predeceased by her husband Allan Butt (Dec. 28, 1958). Visitors were received
at the Gospel Hall in Red Bjay on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from where
the funeral service took place on Friday July 1, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. with Mr.
Eric Fowler and Mr. Francis Barner officiating. Interment followed in the church

Cintre in Port Saunders in the presence of his family. He was in his 95th year.
He leaves to mourn his sons Cyril (Dora) and Truman; daughters Naomi (Lambert),
Laura (Noah) and Hilda (Valine); son-in-law Allister Genge; daughters-in-law
