on June 2, 2002. She was in her 83rd year. Frances
was born at Jackson 's Arm on July 3, 1918 to Ada and Israel Goulding. She
leaves to mourn sister Lucy Boyd; brother Ron Goulding (June); nephews Rex
Boyd (Juanita) and Brian Goulding (Alison); nieces Pamela Maddigan (Pat) and
Pamela Szczecinski; great-nieces Carol Lynn and Tammy; great-nephews Justin
and Ian; great-great niece and nephew Katelyn and Kevin, and many other relatives
and friends. She is predeceased by husband William Tulk. Visitation took place
at the Anglican Church in Main Brook from where the funeral service took place

Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, June
10, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer, Michael Anthony
Whelan in his 65th year. He leaves to mourn with loving memories
son Michael Jr. of Orillia, Ontario; daughter Nicole of Calgary, Alberta; special
friend Beverly Windsor of Orillia, Ontario; sisters Sr. Maureen Whelan, Presentation
Convent, Gander, Bride Connolly (Thomas W) of Roaches Line, and Susie Bromley

of Conche. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He is

Mary (May 22, 2002), and sister Nellie. Gerald was a devoted husband, father,
grandfather, brother and friend. He was a loving and gentle soul who would
