DEMPSTER, Tyson
Passed on: July 23rd, 2015

It is with great sadness the family of the late Tyson Dempster of Plum Point announces his unexpected passing on the 23rd day of July 2015 at Wabamun, Alberta, Mr. Tyson Dempster in his 30th year. He leaves to mourn with heavy hearts and loving memories his wife Tina Dempster; father Whyman Dempster; mother Naomi Dempster; brothers Whyman, Chantel and Olivia Dempster, Mitchel Dempster and Sandra Coombs; grandmother Eliza Hodge; father-in-Law Kenneth Way; in-laws Yvette, Lon Way and family; Yolanda, George Mitchelmore and family; Kendra, Jim McLean and family, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather Phillip Hodge, grandparents Anthony and Sarah May Dempster, uncle Barry Dempster, aunts Amy Toope and Rowena Hodge, cousin May Toope, and mother-in-law Judy Anne Way. Cremation has taken place. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5 with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. Burial followed in Anglican Cemetery in Pond Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

ROSE, Elizabeth (Betty) Jane Burry

Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Jane Burry Rose
of Flowers Cove passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at the John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony on the 13th day of July 2015. She was in her 92nd year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her nine children Pierce Rose, Rosalind (the late William Carey), Agnes (Sam) Genge, Norman (Brenda) Rose, Barbara (George) Coles, Wayne (Olga) Rose, Daphne (Claude) Genge, Henry Rose, and Dean (Belinda) Rose; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews; two brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Norman Rose, her twin brother Pierce Burry, sisters Mabel Bishop, Olive English, Agnes Burry, her grandchildren Elizabeth Rose, Baby Boy Rose, Perry Rose, her parents Pierce and Martha Burry, and her parents-in-law Archibald and Agnes Rose. Cremation had taken place followed by visitation at the United Church in Flowers Cove followed by the memorial service which was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 19 with Rev. John McGonigle officiating. Intenment took place in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard funeral director.

TAYLOR, Kitty
Passed on: July 10th, 2015

With heavy hearts the family of the late Ms. Kitty Taylor of Forrester's Point announces her passing at the Strait of Belle Isle Health Centre on the 10th day of July, 2015, in her 67th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Dennis Taylor (Patsy); daughters Roxanne Lavallee (Randy) and Jackie Taylor (Raymond); grandchildren Sylvester Taylor (Chantel), Ethan Taylor, and Rainna Kate Lavallee, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Emily Taylor, father Isaiah Taylor, brothers Harold Taylor and Walter Taylor, nephew John Stephen Taylor, great-nephew P.G. Genge, and great niece Renitta Genge. Visitation took place at St. Mary's Anglican Church in Black Duck Cove from where the funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13 with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

WHITE, Noah Maxwell
Passed on: July 31st, 2015

Passed away on July 31, 2015, Noah Maxwell White of Sandy Cove, in his 63rd year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Gladys; son Michael (Ashley); grandchildren Breah and Kylen; mother Dulcie; brothers Curling (Wanda) and Jim (Marlene); sisters Olga (Wayne), and Marion Ann (Lyman); nephews Dwayne, Ramsey, Ricky, Andrew, and Andy; uncle Jimmy (Belinda); aunts Ann and Velma, as well as a circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Curling and brother Ramsey. Visitation took place at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Sandy Cove from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4 with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
