BROMLEY, Anthony Ambrose
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Tony Bromley announce his sudden passing on July 29, 2012 in Jasper, Alberta, (formerly of Goose Cove, NL), at the age of 50 years. (April 5, 1962 - July 29, 2012). Leaving to mourn son Dameon (Pam); wife Marilyn; stepdaughter Renee (Gary); granddaughter Taylor; brothers Louis (Lillian), Don (Elva), and Eddie (Sharon); sisters Joan Saunders (Morris), Bonnie Eddison, Angela Hillier (Barry), Shirley Bromley (Dale), Linda and Rhonda Carroll (Todd), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Maurice and Theresa Bromley and sisters Linda and Bessie. Remains were entrusted to Oliver's Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Grande Prairie, Alberta. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, Aug 8 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Goose Cove. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

ELLIOTT, Robert Thomas
Passed peacefully away after a long struggle with an illness at the Dartmouth General Hospital on Aug. 8, 2012, Mr. Robert Thomas Elliott of Raleigh, NL, in his 67th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Joan; daughters Kim (Tim) Murphy, Stacey Elliott; son Rob Elliott; daughter-in-law Paula Elliott; grandchildren Adam, Katie, Samantha, Jake, Allison, and Benjamin; great-grandson Landon; sister Vira (Alonzo) Reid; sisters-in-law Dorothy, Esther, and Rosie; mother-in-law Christine Milne; brothers-in-law Doug (Barb) and Jim (Gail); sister-in-law Cathy (Richard) Mirtic, also a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother and father Blanche and Levi Elliott, sisters Winnie Pinsent and Ethel Penney, brothers Eric, Ralph, Arthur, Bernard, and Harold. Visitation was held at the United Church in Raleigh, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 13 with Rev. Gus Pendleton officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

GENGE, Elias
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elias Genge of Anchor Point, NL, announce his passing on July 14, 2012 at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sister-in-law Ida Genge; brother-in-law Pearce Genge and family; nephews and nieces Kenneth (Marsha), Tana, Riley, Emma (George Hen), and Gere; special friends Alph and Louria Chislett, and Elgin Chambers. He was predeceased by parents Abel and Elizabeth (Chambers), Genge, brothers Thomas, Stephen and Stanley, and sisters Laura and Priscilla. Visitation took place at St. Matthew's Anglican Church in Anchor Point followed by the funeral service on Saturday, July 14 with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd., St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

GENGE, Wyman
Passed away at his private residence in Edmonton, Alberta on July 5, 2012, Mr. Wyman Genge (formerly of Deadman's Cove) at the age of 58 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Kathy Schroeder; brother Mark (Jackie); nieces Megan and Shelby; special sister Una Genge and a large circle of friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his parents George and Virginia Genge, brothers Oswald and Bruce Genge. Visitation took place at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Anchor Point followed by the funeral service on Wednesday, July 11, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment followed at St. Matthew's New Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

MAHAR, Primus Anthony
It is with great sadness the family of the late Primus Mahar of Port au Choix, NL, announce his passing on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 66 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Millie; son Dixon; brothers Jerry (Joanne), Aloysius (Bomi), Clary (Sharon), Gary (Michelle), Edward, Ken (Hope), Pete (Rose), and Mike (Diane), Sisters Sadie (Ken), Stella, Amelia (Jim), and Clarice (Vernon); special buddy Alfred Rumbolt; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Aloysius and Elsie Mahar, brother Bill, nephew Loman Jr. Visitation took place at Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix on Thursday and Friday. The funeral service took place at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday Aug. 4 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Lee Lainey officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery in Sandy Cove. PATEY, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Ann Naomi
Passed away peacefully at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on July 3, 2012, Mrs. Elizabeth Patey of St. Anthony, NL, in her 73rd year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Donna (Roger), Yvonne (Bruce), Lynette (Hank), Loretta, and Kimberly (Darryl); grandchildren Tom (Karen), Angela, Michael (Stephanie), Michelle (Adam), Sarah (Will), Susan, Kyla, Kurtis, and Erin; great-grandchild Bria; siblings Max (Ethel), Jim (Shirley), Josie, and Irene (Melvin); brothers-in-law Raymond Elliott and Tony Cassoni; special friend Jessie Normore, also many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. She was predeceased by her husbands Donald and William, son-in-law Rene Pollard, parents Walter and Josephine Short, brothers Lot and Philip, sisters Patsy and Bertha, in-laws Janet and Elijah Patey, brothers-in-law Reuben Patey and Walter Powell. Visitation was held at Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home in St. Anthony, followed by the funeral service which was held at St. Mary's Anglican Church in St. Anthony on Friday, July 6 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Louise Richards officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd., St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

PILGRIM, Stephen Glen Thomas
Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on July 21, 2012, Mr. Stephen Glen Thomas Pilgrim of Main Brook, NL, in his 49th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his common-law spouse and soul mate Erica Noseworthy; mother Lillian; sons Tony, Terry, and Taylor; brother Alfred (Beverly); sisters Ella (Clifford) and Joanne (Rick), and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Chesley, and brother Thomas. Visitation was held at the Pentecostal Church in Main Brook followed by the funeral service which was held on Tuesday, July 24, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Skinner and Major Bingle officiating. Interment followed in the Salvation Army Cemetery in Main Brook. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

PILGRIM, William Ralph
Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on July 31, 2012. Mr. William Ralph Pilgrim of St. Lunaire-Griquet, NL, in his 89th year. He leaves to mourn with a lifetime of fond and loving memories wife Rosalind; sons Joe (Marion), Ambrose (Cathy), Allan (Blanche), Raymond (Patsy), Malcom (Colette), Shannon (Helen), and Sheldon (Roxanne); daughters Josie (Daniel), Beverly (Donald), Hope (Wayne), Gay (Perry), and Terry (Perry); son-in-law John Hedderson (Jane); stepchildren Jamie (Bobbie), Colin, Deanna (Roy), and Kayla (Rick); sister Minnie Hillier; his loving 31 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Sarah-Ann Pilgrim, wife Beatrice, 2nd wife Hazel, daughters Joan, Ina, and Ida, sisters Winnie and Gladys, brothers Ambrose, James, and Leonard. Visitation was held at the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Griquet, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

PITTMAN, Rosanna Elizabeth
Cook's Harbour
Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on July 25, 2012, Mrs. Rosanna Elizabeth Pittman of Cook's Harbour, NL, in her 84th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters Nellie (Winsor), Edna (Marvin) and Leona (Lew); son Howard; granddaughters Lisa and Samantha; grandsons Christopher, Jimmy, Chad, Jarvis, Jonathon, Jordan, Brent, and Michael; great-grandchildren Dorrie, Victor, Alyssa, Baylee, Ethan, and Roy, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Roy and daughter Marjorie. Visitation was held at the St. Matthew's Anglican Church in Cook's Harbour from where the funeral service was held on Sunday, July 30, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Diane Smith officiating. Burial was held at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd. St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

SIMMS, Bertha (Nee Pittman)
Passed peacefully away at John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony on July 14, 2012, Mrs. Bertha Simms (Nee Pittman) of St. Anthony, NL, in her 79th year. She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of fond and loving memories her son Larry and daughter-in-law Dale; granddaughters Rhonda (Brian), and Roxanne (Jason); great-grandchildren Kaidence, Nickolas, Lukas and Lillie; brother Abraham (Dorothy), and brother-in-law Garland and many nieces and nephews. She will be forever remembered and sadly missed by many family and friends. She was predeceased by husband Clayton, son Dannie, parents Ambrose and Lenora Pittman, in-laws Hayward and Susan, brother-in-law Roland (Gertie), sister-in-law Mary March (Vernon). Visitation took place at Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home in St. Anthony followed by the funeral service which took place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17 at the United Church in St. Anthony with Rev. Stephanie McClellan officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd. St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

TATCHELL, Dennis
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dennis Tatchell of Castors River North, NL, announce his passing on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 31 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his parents Lorne and Mary Tatchell; brothers Derek (Vanessa Tatchell) and Darren Tatchell (Vanessa Tucker); sister Donna Tatchell (Ashlynn Delarie); girlfriend Sara Lee Cull; nephew Dawson; niece Tamara; grandfather Anthony Tatchell, as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Mary Ann and Edward Rumbolt, grandmother Madonna Tatchell, uncle Walter Rumbolt, and aunt Ann Marie Tatchell. The family received friends from St. Ann's Chapel in Castors River North on Sunday and Monday from where the funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 19 at 2 p.m. with Fr. Anthony officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Bartlett's Harbour. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix. TATCHELL, Isaac
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Isaac Tatchell of Castor River South, NL, announce his passing on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Anora; children Sheila, Christine (Primus), Aloysius (Selma), Audrey (Ben), Maxine (Brian), Lucy (Lewis), and Rowena (Craig); 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; son-in-law Warren; sisters Clara Rumbolt and Nellie Plowman; brothers Joseph and Gordon; sisters-in-law Agatha, Maggie and Eliza, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Clara, son-in-law Bill Mahar, parents Henry and Winnifred Tatchell, sister Mabel, brothers Henry, Patrick and Kevin. Visitation took place at Queen of the Angels Catholic Church in Castor River South on Thursday and Friday from where the funeral service took place on Saturday, July 28 at 10:30 a.m., with Fr. Anthony officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bartlett's Harbour. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. WHITE, Amos Leslie
It is with great sadness that the family of Amos White of Quispamsis, New Brunswick, husband of Linda (Payne) White and father of Chantelle, announce his death which occurred peacefully on Monday, July 2, 2012, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Sandy Cove on April 7, 1959, he was the son of Lillian (Genge) White and the late George Henry White of Sandy Cove. Amos was employed as a truck driver, a job he truly loved and was a loyal employee of Brookville Carriers. He enjoyed life to the fullest and loved all types of music and enjoyed dancing. Most of all, Amos adored and dedicated his life to caring for his family. He especially treasured the times spent with his daughter Chantelle who was his pride and joy. Amos was an avid sports fan who particularly enjoyed hockey and baseball. He will be sadly missed. Besides his beloved wife, Linda and precious daughter, Chantelle, at home, Amos is also survived by his mother Lillian; brothers, Louis (Michelle), Tyler and Rebecca of Quispamsis, New Brunswick, Whyman (Denise), Heather and Sarah of Port Saunders, Albert (Blanche), Bradley, Brandon (Jennifer) and their son Brayden of Leduc, Alberta and Bruce (Loretta), Shana of Brooks, Alberta; mother-in-law Mrs. Dora Payne of Cow Head; sister-in-law Wanda House (Darrell), Stefan of Daniel's Harbour, Terri-Lynn Payne (Carson) and their children Dustin and Briana of Cow Head; brother-in-law Wilfred Payne (Marlene), Payton of Deer Lake; very special aunt and uncle Fran and Gerry Gros and a large circle of relatives and friends, as well as his father, George Henry White and father-in-law Rendell Payne. Amos was also predeceased by his maternal grandparents Matthew and Sophia Genge, paternal grandparents, John Albert and Rosanna White; nephew Zachary and special aunt Rhoda Payne. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 10, at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Cow Head. Interment took place in the church cemetery. A memorial service was also held in New Brunswick on July 6.
