Leaving to mourn husband Alvin Fillier; sons Donald Fillier (Shawna) and Robert Fillier (Thirza); daughters June Brenton (James), Loretta Webber (Clarence), Gladys Brown (Wayne) and Rosalind Fillier (Morgan); 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother Wesley Colbourne (Ida). He was predeceased by son Austin Fillier and daughter Verna Fillier. Visitation was held at the Pentecostal Church in Englee from where the funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 4, with Pastor Angell officiating. Passed away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital, St. Anthony on July 5, 2008, Victor Noble, age 82 years. Leaving to mourn his wife of 62 years Bertha; children Rita (Bob) McKenzie, Marion, Don (Donna), Reuben (Ruby), Cliff (Judy), Dave (Shelly), Terry, Rick (Loretta), Gladys (Loren) Campbell and Sheila (Rick) Elliott, as well as 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn two sisters Doris and Vera and a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by two infant sons, Sidney and Cecil, his parents Reuben and Mary, stepmother Laura, sister Eunice and brothers Wilfred, Pearce and Eric. Visitation took place at Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at the United Church in St. Anthony with Rev. John McGonigle officiating.
