ALLINGHAM, Hazel
Passed away peacefully at the John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony on Feb. 21, 2013, Mrs. Hazel Allingham of Cook's Harbour, NL, in her 74th year. Hazel leaves behind her loving husband Horace Allingham; her children Pamela Muscat (Mario), Sharon Decker (Barry), Sheila Woodward (Randy), Lynn Philpott (Tim), Lois Elliott (Morgan), and Paul Allingham (Belinda); her grandchildren Tammy Allingham (Bradley), Barry Decker (Tracey), Terri Woodward (Brent), Scott Woodward (Bobbie), Brittany Elliott, Jade Philpott, Kyle Philpott, Ashley Muscat, David Mitchelmore, and Shandi Mitchelmore; her great-grandchildren Devon Saunders, Dana Saunders, Riley Hedderson, Ava Woodward, and Jake Woodward; siblings Velma Earle (Doug- deceased), Ralph Colbourne (Laverne), and Roy Colbourne (Judy). Hazel was predeceased by her parents Lucy and Roderick Colbourne, sister Dorothy Pittman and her grandson Dillion Elliott. Visitation was held at St. Matthew's Anglican Church in Cook's Harbour, from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24 with Rev. Diane Smith and layperson Alf Larkin officiating. Burial followed the service in the Anglican Cemetery in Cook's Harbour. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.

CULL, Frederick James
Passed peacefully away on Feb. 6, 2013 at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, Mr. Frederick Cull of Great Brehat, in his 73rd year. He leaves to mourn his wife of 54 years Victoria; sons Elijah (Lucinda), and David (Isabella); daughter Jackie (Lloyd); step-daughter Nancy (Todd); grandchildren Joanna (Joseph), Danielle, Mark (Joy), Susan (Corey), Sherry, Devon (Sabrina), Sheldon (Robbi-Lynn), and Victoria; great-grandson Michael Cull; step-grandchildren David, Lesley, Amy, Kira, and Daniel; brothers Roy (Louise), Eric (Leone), Everett (Violet) and Wilfred (Ann); sisters Elizabeth, Mary (Hazen), as well as a large number of family and friends. He was predeceased by his father William Henry, mother Eunice, and brother-in-law Loomis Penney. Visitation was held at the funeral home in St. Anthony followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Feb. 9 with Rev. Stephanie McClellan officiating. Interment followed at the United Cemetery in Great Brehat. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

GIBBONS, Nathaniel
Passed suddenly away at his home in Plum Point NL, on Feb. 26, 2013, Mr. Nathaniel Gibbons in his 73rd year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Marjorie; sons Royal (Christine), Dennis (Cassie), Truman (Bernice), and Herman; daughters Celia (Ward), Ellen (Kenny), and Sheilagh (Lloyd); grandchildren Michael, Joshua, Chelsey, DJ., Tamara, Nathan, Crystal, and Logan; great-grandchildren Aubree, and Kaci-Rae; sisters Marie (Maxwell), and Celia (Edward); sister-in-law Sybil, as well as many other family and a large circle of friends. He was predeceased by his mother Sarah Jane, father Isaac, and brother Roland. Visitation was held at The Church of the Advent in Plum Point from which the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on March 2, with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Pond Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

HANCOCK, Edward R.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ed Hancock of Forteau, NL, announce his passing at the Long Term Care Unit on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories wife Mary (James); children Faye (Keith), Cecil (Beryl), and Peggy (Dwight); grandchildren Amy, Meghan, Kylee, Bryan and Dustin; brothers Douglas and Russell; and sister Shirley, as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Artemas and Blanche Hancock, brothers Wallace and Clyde, sisters Gertrude and Flora. Visitation took place at the Anglican Church in Forteau on Monday and Tuesday from where the funeral service took place Wednesday Feb. 13, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Norman Cutler officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Homes Ltd., L'Anse au Loup.

HOLLETT, Olive Jean
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Olive Hollett, of Bide Arm, NL, announce her passing on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her brothers Ross (Marion) Randell, Conception Bay South, Ellwood (Juanita), Paul (Christina), Jesse (Ruth), Austin (Jean), Lloyd (Tamer) Randell of Bide Arm and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Jesse and Rowena Randell, brother Hedley George. Visitation took place at the Apostolic Faith Church in Bide Arm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from where the funeral service took place on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Vanzel Quinlan officiating. Interment followed at the Apostolic Faith Cemetery, Bide Arm. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix. HOUSE, Bernice
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernice House of Port au Choix, NL, announce her passing on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 68 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Gwen (Donnie), Woods Harbour, Nova Scotia; sons Jeff (Diane), David (Marie), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Gerard (Tammy), Port Saunders, Byron (Evelyn), and Todd (Kendra), Port au Choix; grandchildren Tyler, Jenny, Angie, Carly, Adam, Taylor, Brandee, Carter and Rayyn; sisters Yvette (Dave), Peggy (Nath), Connie (Milton), Jenny (George), Vicki (Owen) and Brenda (Ed); brothers Romeo (Bonnie), Gary (Maisie), Paul (Anita) and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Euphrasia Northcott, daughter Jenny, and brother Gerard. Visitation took place at Fillatre's Funeral Home in Port au Choix on Monday, from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service was held at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. with Fr. Lee Lainy officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix. KEEFE, Eugene Ralph
Passed away suddenly at his home in Roddickton on Feb. 22, 2013, Mr. Eugene Ralph Keefe of Roddickton, NL, in his 70th year. Eugene leaves behind his mother Pearl (Roddickon); his brothers Wesley (Marilyn) Keefe (Roddickton), Robert (Iris) Keefe (Englee), Grant (Mae) Keefe (St. Anthony), Lomond (Beryl) Keefe (Deer Lake), and James Keefe (Englee); his sisters Beatrice Gear (St. Anthony), Nancy (Richard) Shulek (Masontown, USA), Celeste (Byron) White (Arviat, Nunavut), and Florence (George) Canning (Comfort Cove), as well as a large circle of other family and friends. The funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, at the Apostolic Faith Church in Englee with Pastor George Burton officiating. Burial followed in the Englee Apostolic Faith Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

LAVERS, Howard Joseph
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Howard Lavers (1956-2013) of Port Saunders, NL announce his passing on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at the age of 57 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children Michael (Karri), Borden, Ontario, Jeremy (Dawnie), Grande Prairie, Alberta. and Christina, Port Saunders; grandsons Ashton and Alexei; granddaughter Taylor; mother Pauline; brothers and sisters Bob (Judy), Joe (Barb), Cecil (Lillian), Olive (Ron), Laverne, Josephine and Lorna (Leo); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Matthew and brother Derek. Visitation took place at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Port Saunders on Sunday evening and Monday. The funeral service took place place on Tuesday, February 26 at 3 p.m. from French Shore Academy with Fr. Lee Lainey officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NL Wildlife Officers Association (Janeway Children's Hospital), c/o Scotiabank. RUMBOLT, Geraldine
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Geraldine Rumbolt (nee Hutchings) Aug. 7, 1959 - Feb. 20, 2013, of Port au Choix, NL, announce her passing at the Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at the age of 53 years, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Alex; sons Leif and Ryan; siblings Harold (Belinda), Myles (Cheryl), Loretta (Steve), Eileen (Les), Della (Eddie), Winston (Thelma), Darren (Charlene) and Bonnie Lou (Didier); in-laws Jim, Pat (Louise), Joseph (Pearl), Chris (Sam), Anne (Frank), Melita, Bertha (Pius), Gus (Helena) and Helen (Lambert); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth Hutchings and Bertram Gilley, in-laws Alex Gaslard and Mary Rumbolt. Visitation took place at St. Thomas Beckett Anglican Church in Port au Choix on Thursday evening and Friday from where the funeral service was held on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Canon Paulette Bugden officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix. SINNICKS, Cyril
Passed away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on Feb. 16, 2013 at the age of 74 years, Mr. Cyril Sinnicks of Anchor Point, NL. Left to mourn are his beloved wife of 48 years Dora; his son Craig Sinnicks (Penny), Fort McMurray, Alberta; his daughter Priscilla Genge (Roy), Cambridge, Ontario; grandchildren Candice (Ian), Kitchener, Ontario, Natasha, Guelph, Ontario, Brianna and Brian, Fort McMurray; great grandson Ethan, Kitchener, Ontario; sister Naomi Genge (Lambert); sisters-in-law Johanna Sinnicks, and Millicent Sinnicks; mother-in-law Rosanna Applin; sisters-in-law Susan Baines, and Bessie McLean (Clifford); brothers-in-law Garland Applin (Marina), and Eric Applin (Priscilla), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Cyril is predeceased by his son Brian Sinnicks, parents Essau and Susan, brothers Jacob, Essau Jr., Truman, Sterling, Wilfred and Guy, sister Selina, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Allister and Peggy, Sarah and Tom Applin and Cecil Baines. Visitation was held at the Anglican Church in Anchor Point from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20 with Rev. Dr. Robert Rowland officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

WILLIAMS, Adam
Passed away peacefully at the John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony on Feb. 21, 2013, Mr. Adam Williams of Forrester's Point, NL, in his 83rd year. Adam leaves behind his beloved partner of 23 years, Bessie Taylor; 15 step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild Jordan, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Stella, his mother Jane, his father Adam, his brother William and sisters Phoebe, Emily, Elizabeth, Mariah and Rachel. Visitation was held at St. Mary's Anglican Church in Black Duck Cove from where the funeral service took place on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harold Harvey and layperson Yvonne Dredge officiating. Burial followed the service at Black Duck Cove Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.

WILLIAMS, George Henry
It is with great sadness that the family of George Henry Williams, born Dec. 4, 1920 in Eddies Cove East announce his passing on Feb. 10, 2013 at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony in his 92nd year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughters Yvonne, Nunavut, Wavey, and Shirley (Brian); son Gorvin; grandsons, Jeremy Bolger and Brandon Williams, Fort St. John, British Columbia; brother Walter (Hazel) and sister Elizabeth (Mclean), Eddies Cove East; brothers-in-law John Parrill, St. Anthony, Darius Parrill, Labrador City and sister-in-law Margaret Manuel, St. Anthony, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Eliza (Parrill), parents Henry Albert and Laura (Coates), brothers Philip, Timothy, Benjamin, and Anson; sisters Eliza (Applin) and Joanna. Visitation took place at St. Andrews Church in Lower Cove. Funeral services were held on Thursday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Eddies Cove East. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
