Passed away on April 6, 2007, Vernon Hedderson, age 69 years. Leaving
to mourn brother John (Ina) Hedderson; sisters Victoria (Tex) Davis,
Josephine (the late Harvey) Johnson, Phoebe (Ralph) Matchim and Delina
(Graydon) Anderson; son Lloyd (Charmaine); granddaughters Thea and Toni
and numerous cousins and other family. He was predeceased by parents
Walter and Delina Hedderson, brother Jerry Hedderson and son Leon. Visitation
took place at the United Church in Cook’s Harbour from where the
funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11 with Rev. Pendleton
officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements
were entrusted to K. M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton,
Lee Nippard, funeral director.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Devin Schultz-Hynes
(Nov. 26, 1987 - April 6, 2007) announces his sudden passing on Friday,
April 6, 2007 at the age of 19 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and

Lynn, Kevin and Cory, as well as a large circle of other relatives and
friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Ida and Emanuel Hynes.
The family received friends at St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church,
Reef’s Harbour on Sunday and Monday from where the Funeral service
was held on Tuesday, April 10 at 3:00 p.m. with Fr. Ambrose Hynes officiating.
Interment followed at the French Cove Roman Catholic Cemetery. Funeral
arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mason Baines
(Nov. 28, 1985 - April 6, 2007) announces his sudden passing on Friday,
April 6, 2007 at the age of 21 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving
memories his mother Dale Baines; father Anthony Barney; stepfather Leon;
brother Maxwell; grandparents Pricella dn Edward Barney, L’Anse

and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Leander and Lucy

Passed away on April 9, 2007, Cornelius Bromley of Conche, age 87 years.
Leaving to mourn brothers John and Pad, and numerous nieces, nephews
and friends. Visitation took place at the Roman Catholic Church in Conche
from where the funeral mass was held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April
12 with Fr. Varghese officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery.

Forteau
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Greta
Roberts announces her passing at the Labrador South Health Centre in Forteau
on April 15, 2007 at the age of 58 years. Leaving to mourn with loving
memories husband Harold; children Philip Earle (April), Philip Roberts
(Madonna), Deanna Swan (Tim) and Harley Roberts; nine grandchildren
Kayla, Brittany, Michelle, James, Myran, Marcus, William, Sara and
Nolan; sister Jesse Normore, Sarah Normore (Gordan), Winnie Barney
(Alfred), Vivian Buckle (William) and Elsie Earle (Derrick); brothers
Clayton Linstead (Maggie), Ewart Linstead (Sharlene), as well as a
large circle of other family and friends. The family received visitors
at English Point Gospel Hall on Monday and Tuesday from where the funeral
service took place on Tuesday, April 17 at 2 p.m. with Mr. Albert Hull
and Mr. Freddy Barney officiating. Interment followed in the church
cemetery at English Point. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were
graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, L’Anse
au Loup.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Susan Genge announces
her passing on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at the Charles
S. Curtis Memorial Hospital, St. Anthony in her 67th year. She leaves

was predeceased by her parents Timothy and Margaret Gaulton, brother

Anglican Church in Anchor Point Monday evening, Tuesday and Wednesday
from where the Funeral service took place on Thursday, April 19 at 2:00
p.m. with Rev. Steven Maki officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican

Thursday from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday,
April 20 with Rev. James Pratt and Rev. John Meade officiating. Interment
followed at the family plot. By request of the family, flowers were graciously

Passed peacefully away at St. Catherine’s, Ontario after a short
illness, age 85 years. He leaves to mourn wife Janet; children Rex (Juanita),
Pam (Pat Maddigan), Stewart (Theresa) and Raymond (Amy); 15 grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren; sister Jean (Boyd Jeans); sister-in-law Audrey
(Forsey Boyd), as well as a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased
by his parents Tom and Nellie Boyd, sister Gwen (Kad Pelley), brothers
Joe (Cecelia) and Tom. He is sadly missed by family, friends and co-workers.
The funeral serve was held in Vineland, Ontario with cremation to follow.

(Wilson) Mugford and Elaine (Ivan) Parrill; grandchildren Melissa, Monica,
Melody, Kristin, Kelly, Karla, Chelsea, Christopher, Danielle, Nikita
and Kenny; great-grandchildren Brady Parrill and Zachary Brown; brothers
Edward and Henry; sisters Moram Diamond, Rita Pynn and two very special
and longtime friends Warren and Faye Campbell of Cook’s Harbour.
Visitation took place at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Cook’s
Harbour from where the Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on April 26
with Rev. Canon Jean Brenton-Hickman officiating. Interment followed
in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to K. M.
