PATEY - REARDON
Congratulations are extended to Karla, daughter of Derek and Sharon Patey of St. Anthony and Jarvis, son of Gregory and Bertha Reardon of Goose Cove. They celebrated their wedding at Grand Paradise Bavaro Resort in Punta Cana Dominican Republic on May 11, 2005. The bridal party included: Laurie Hewlin, maid of honour, friend of the bride; bridesmaids Tasha Penney and Leslie-Ann Blake, friends of the bride; best man John Lambert, friend of the groom and groomsmen J.J. Reardon, brother of the groom and Chris Patey, brother of the bride. A total of 45 guests accompanied them for the celebration. The couple is residing in Gander where they are both employed. Best wishes from all your family and friends.

PARRILL - MOSS
Congratulations are extended to Pamela, daughter of Elvis and Marlene Parrill of Pines Cove, and Colby, son of Tom and Ivy Moss of Mary's Harbour, who were untied in marriage on May 21, 2005 at St. Andrews's Church in Lower Cove. A reception was held at Thirstys. Pamela and Colby would like to thank everyone who made their special day so memorable. The happy couple resides in St. John's where they are both employed.

ROBERTS - BLACKMORE
Congratulations to Judy Roberts, daughter of Ford and Goldie Roberts of St. Anthony and Master Cpl. Timothy Blackmore, son of Leonard and Joanne Blackmore of Calgary, Alberta. The couple were married June 28, 2005 in Conception Bay South and now resides in Windsor, Ontario. An extended thank you to everyone who shared in their special day, and best wishes from both families for a wonderful and happy future.

BONNELL - PITMAN
A beautiful wedding took place on July 9, 2005 at St. Mary's Church in Black Duck Cove with Rev. Norman Cutler officiating, when Patricia, daughter of Alton and Eileen Bonnell of Forrester's Point, and Damien, son of Rex and Margaret Pittman of St. Paul's, were united in marriage. A reception was held at Thirsty's Lounge, St. Genevieve. The happy couple are now residing in Petawawa, Ontario where Damien is serving in Armed Forces. Love and best wishes from family and friends.

PLOWMAN - BIGGIN
Congratulations are extended to Jeanann Plowman and Kirby Biggin on their beautiful wedding which took place at St. Joseph's Church in Port Saunders on July 9, 2005. The ceremony was officiated by Fr. Roger Problete. The bridal party included: Maid of honour Jackie Chaulk, friend of the bride; bridesmaids Winnie Plowman, sister of the groom and Alicia Lowe, niece of the groom; junior bridesmaid Ashlyn Plowman, daughter of the bride; best man Rod Biggin, brother of the groom; groomsmen Jerry Lavers, brother-in-law of the groom and Philip Reid, nephew of the bride; junior groomsman Alex O'Keefe, nephew of the bride; flower girl Kendra Kennedy, friend of the bride and groom, and ring bearer Adam House, nephew of the bride. TOMS - SPRATT
Robert and Barbara Toms of Forteau are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Sheri to Steve, son of James and Cathy Spratt of St. John's. , daughter of Joey and Loretta Park of Cox's Cove and Deon, son of Elmo and Sybil Noseworthy of St. Anthony were united in marriage on July 30, 2005 at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Cox's Cove with Kirby and Valarie Noseworthy, brother and sister-in-law of the groom officiating. The bridal party included: Maid of honour Angie Park, niece of the bride; best man Sandy Park, brother of the bride; bridesmaids Tracey Goosney, Andrina McGrath, and JodiLynn Dobbin, friends of the bride, and Tobi McGarrigle, cousin of the groom; groomsmen Monty Park, brother of the bride, Chris Penney and Brian McGarrigle, cousins of the groom, and Kirby Janes, nephew of the bride, and flower girl Bethany Brace, cousin of the bride. Soloists were Joan Oxford and Shelley Chaulk, cousins of the bride. Readers were Chrissy and Mary Park, sisters-in-law of the bride, and Paula Colqhoun, cousin of the bride. Pianist was Dennis Barnes. Ushers were Norman White and Barry Park. The couple honeymooned in the Mayan Riveria, Mexico. They currently reside in Cox's Cove and are both employed at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook. Congratulations and best wishes from family and friends.

SCANLON - MARTIN
Vivian Scanlon
of Castor River North and Jamie Martin of Port au Choix were united in marriage at Inn on the Lake, Waverly, Nova Scotia on Aug. 6, 2005. An outdoor beach side ceremony was held followed by a dinner reception. The happy couple honeymooned in the Bahamas and have recently moved into a new home in Sackville, Nova Scotia. Best wishes and love from Mom Scanlon, Dad Martin and Mary, Mom Martin and Kevin, Lucy (Shane) and family, Glenora (Marius) and family, Tracey and Darren, Albert (Linda) and family, Cyndi (Dale) and family, Mike (Tami) and family.

COATES - DUNPHY

, daughter of Truman and Shirley Coates and Thomas, son of Bruce and Yvonne Dunphy were united in marriage on Aug. 6, 2005 at St. Mary's Anglican church in St. Anthony with the Rev. Ross Rumbolt officiating. The bridal party included: Maid of honour Sherry Simms; bridesmaids Victoria Penney, Nicola Penney, Angela Dunphy and Kimberly Patey; best man Kirby Simmonds; groomsmen Robert Hann, Robert Simms, George Sexton and Shannon Cull. Also included were Kirtis and Erin Patey, Mitchell and Aaron Simms, Abigail Penney and Kyla Pollard. Readers were Sandy Ollerhead and Brenda Pilgrim. Organist was Jean Boyd and violinist Maggie Linstead. The couple are currently working and residing in Igaluit, Nunavut. Congratulations and best wishes from family and friends.

LEARNING - KEARNEY
Robert and Rosalie Learning of Cartwright are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Tegan to Raynold, son of Raymond and Elizabeth Kearney of Croque. The wedding took place Aug. 13, 2005 in Goose Bay where the couple resides. Love and best wishes from family and friends.

Kevin and Shirley Best are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Sheryl to Darren, son of Judy and the late Allan Day. Sheryl and Darren were joined in marriage by Rev. John McGonigle on Friday, Aug. 19, 2005 at St. Anthony United Church. The reception was held at the Royal Canadian Legion. The happy couple are residing in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

HOWELL - RUSSELL
Congratulations are extended to Evelyn and Aubrey who celebrated their wedding on Aug. 20, 2005 at Red Bay. Evelyn is the daughter of Isaac and Sadie Howell of Red Bay. Aubrey is the son of Redgeway and the late Frances Snook and Aubrey and Pauline Russell (and the late Mary Russell) of Mary's Harbour. The couple now resides in L'Anse au Loup.
