Congratulations to Kimberley, daughter of Wayne and Ivy Abbott of St. Anthony, and Steven, son of Andrew and Yvonne Canning of Comfort Cove-Newstead on their wedding which took place on Jan. 25, 2003 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. ALLEN - PITTMAN
On March 7, 2003 at Sandal's Resort, Montego Bay, Jamaica, families and friends gathered to celebrate the beautiful beachside marriage of Shannon Pittman (formally of Cook's Harbour), and Karie Allen of Malden, New Brunswick. The bride and groom were attended by best friends Manual Roswell and Rene Smith of St. John's. Shannon and Karie reside in St. John's. Congratulations and good luck for a prosperous future, love Mom, Glenn and Blair.

CANNING - SYMONDS
Congratulations are extended to Myrna, daughter of Alvin and Velma Canning, and Jason, son of Ron and Loretta Symmonds, who were united in marriage on April 3, 2003 at Puerto-Plata, Dominican Republic. NOSEWORTHY - GENGE
A beautiful wedding ceremony took place on April 12, 2003 when Tracy, daughter of Lambert and Dianne Noseworthy of Green Island Brook, and Ashley, son of Arthur and Laverne Genge of Anchor Point, were married at the Anglican Church in Lower Cove. The reception was held at the Lions Club in Anchor point. The happy couple now resides in Edmonton, Alberta. Congratulations and best wishes from their son Brady and all their family and friends.

COOMBS - TUCKER
Congratulations are extended to Brada, daughter of George and Mamie Coombs, and Bruce, son of John and Sybil Tucker, who were married on April 26, 2003 at St. Mary's Anglican Church in Black Duck Cove by Rev. John Hounsell-Drover. A reception followed at the Viking 430 in Reef's Harbour Junction where a large circle of family and friends celebrated the couple's vows. BURT - O'KEEFE

were married on the beach at Superclubs Cuba in Holguin on April 28, 2003. Special thanks go to all those who made the trip to Cuba, as well as to Suzette Farrell for trip/wedding plans (and Pleasures!), and Mark Sexton and Stephanie Sheehan for their photography expertise. A post-wedding reception took place at the Canada Games Centre, Corner Brook on June 21, 2003. Special thanks are extended to their parents, Heather Hemeon, Kim Musseau, Jade Mahoney and Florence Kelly for helping create memories of a lifetime. Diane and Donnie look forward to many more years of happiness and to the new addition to their family in March 2004.

Congratulations to the happy couple who tied the knot on July 12, 2003. Derek Rymarchuk officiating. Vina was given in marriage by her parents. Maid of honour was Miriam Thorpe, friend of the bride; best man was Louis Trottier, brother-in-law of the groom; ringbearer was Andrew Matthews; musician Robert Fekete; soloist was Charlotte Genge and scripture reader was Isaac Genge. After the ceremony a dinner was served in the Carriage House. On Aug. 16, 2003 they were honoured with a reception at the Flowers Cove Lions Club. Wilfred Randell, uncle of the bride as well as Naaman Randell performed the lighting of the candles and also gave out programs. Music for the ceremony was provided by pianist Teena Cassell, friend of the bride and groom, as well as by Booth Reid, Guy Chubbs and Ralph Randell, all uncles of the bride. Ralph Randell was the soloist. Special thanks are also extended to Uncle Ross, Ralinda, Dinah-Lee, Aunt Tamar, Aunt Kathy, Aunt Ada, Easta Genge, Lena, Ida, Melissa, and to everyone who helped in any way to make the day so wonderful. Hollis and Sonya had a very memorable honeymoon in Varadero, Cuba. Love and best wishes for a long and happy life together come from family and friends.

TWYNE - FILLIER
Congratulations to Stephanie, daughter of Ron and Peggy Twyne of Englee, and Angus, son of Daphne and the late Oliver Fillier of Englee. They were united in marriage on Dec. 27, 2003 in Englee. Love and best wishes for a long and happy life from family and friends.

PAYNE - BLANCHARD
Congratulations are extended to Bonnie, daughter of Loretta and Bill Payne, and Clinton, son of Cora and Absalom Blanchard, who were married on Dec. 27, 2003 at St. Mary's Anglican Church in Cow Head in a lovely ceremony officiated by Rev. Pratt. The bridal party included: Maid of honour Paula Caines, sister of the bride; bridesmaids Jennifer Payne, friend of the bride, Gena Blanchard, sister of the groom, Jessica Day, niece of the bride and Samantha Kennedy, niece of the bride; flower girl Abby Blanchard, niece of the groom; best man Benjie Blanchard, brother of the groom; groomsmen Dwain Caines, brother of the bride, Dwight Goosney, friend of the groom, and ringbearer Christopher Kennedy, nephew of the bride. SAUNDERS - LAVERS
On Dec. 29, 2003, Crystal Saunders of Kitchener, Ontario and Bruce Lavers of Port Saunders, were united in marriage at Fredericton, New Brunswick. They are currently residing in Oromocto where they are both employed with the Canadian Armed Forces at Base Gagetown.
