HOWLETT - In October, at Centerville, New Jersey, Bayonne City, Mr. James HOWLETT, cooper, aged 76 years, a native of St. John's, and for the past 35 years a resident of the United States.

DEATHS:WHITTEN - This morning, after a long and painful illness, Sarah, the beloved wife of Henry WHITTEN, aged 52 years, leaving a husband and three children to mourn their sad loss. Funeral at 2:30 on Wednesday, from the late residence, Water St. West.
