TUFF - Yesterday evening, November 7th, at Old Perlican, after a long illness, William F. TUFF, son of George TUFF, Esq., aged 26 years.

HOWLETT - In October, at Centerville, New Jersey, Bayonne City, Mr. James HOWLETT, cooper, aged 76 years, a native of St. John's, and for the past 35 years a resident of the United States.


HODGETTS - SALTER - At Toronto, Saturday, October 12th, by the Rev. W. JOHNSON, Charles Alfred HODGETTS, M.D., L.R.C.P.,London, England, to Elizabeth S., fourth daughter of the late W. T. SALTER, Esq., of St. John's Nfld. No cards.

MEADUS - BATH - At the Parsonage, 189 Gower St., Nov. 8th, by Rev. A. D. MORTON-, Darius MEADUS of Greenspond, to Johanna BATH of Twillingate.


GLYNN - On the 9th inst., John Joseph GLYNN, the youngest child of Mary and Francis GLYNN aged 1 month.

Tues. Nov. 19, 1895


KANE - On the 16th inst., the wife of Sergt. P. J. KANE, of a son.


WHITTEN - This morning, after a long and painful illness, Sarah, the beloved wife of Henry WHITTEN, aged 52 years, leaving a husband and three children to mourn their sad loss. Funeral at 2:30 on Wednesday, from the late residence, Water St. West.
