HYNES John Kirk
HYNES John Kirk HYNES, John "Kirk"
- Peacefully at L.H.S.C. University Hospital on Friday, April 17th, 2009, John "Kirk" Hynes of London in his 52nd year. Beloved and devoted father of Ravyn Hynes, of London. Cherished brother of Rick Hynes of Ottawa. Predeceased by his parents Gerald & Gertrude Hynes and his brother Wayne Hynes. Kirk will be dearly missed by his friends and family. A memorial visitation will be held at EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Tuesday, April 21st, 2009 from 7- 9 p.m. only. At Kirk's request there will be no funeral service. Kirk will be brought back to his hometown, Cornerbrook, Newfoundland for his final resting place. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca    A tree will be planted by the Evans Funeral Home as a living memorial to Kirk Hynes.


MORRISSEY, Dean
London Free Press (Ont.) January 21, 2009 (Wednesday)

Suddenly on Monday, January 19, 2009, Dean Morrissey of London in his 44th year. Much loved son of Patrick and Loretta Morrissey of Niagara Falls. Best friend and brother to Patrick Morrissey and his wife Robin of London and Neil Morrissey of Niagara Falls. Proud and loving uncle of Michaella and Anneliese. Sadly missed by his dear and special friend Meredith and her daughter Zoe. Fondly remembered by his grandmother Alice Bown of St. John's, Newfoundland. Dean was a Detective Sergeant with the Ontario Provincial Police Crime Unit. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the memorial service will be held on Friday, January 23rd, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dean are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
