BLAKE, Pheobie Bernice
(August 15, 1946 - November 18, 2012)

Passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, Mrs. Pheobie Blake of Birchy Bay, age 66 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Gladys Canning; siblings, Gerald, Mabel and Roger; sister-in-law, Zeta Canning. Left to mourn her passing husband, Norman; daughters, Jo-ann (Lawrence), Roxann (Sheldon) and Marina; son, Jody; brothers, Randolph (Emma), Lindsay (Evelyn), Eli (Geralda), Claude (Kathlean), Winston (Ruby) and Ricky; sister, Marina; grandchildren, Joseph, Tiffany, Emily, Sophie and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastors Victor Rowsell and Robert Canning conducted Funeral Service from the Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay on Thursday, November 22, 2012. Interment was at the Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were brothers, Randolph, Eli, Claude and Ricky Canning; nephews, Baxter and Hayward Blake. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Feed the Children of the Tanzanian Orphanage in Africa will be gratefully accepted.

SNOW, Dorothy Olive (Martin)
(August 9, 1920 - November 15, 2012)

Passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, Mrs. Dorothy Olive (Martin) Snow of Lewisporte, age 92 years. She was predeceased by her two husbands, Donald Martin and Stanley Snow; two sons, Gordon and Bert. Left to mourn her passing are her five daughters, Mabel (Wade), Janette (Ross), Louise, Loretta, Mary (Lorne); four sons, Watson, Edward (Irene), Brian, Ray and a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Captains Joshua and Pauline Randell conducted Funeral Service from the Salvation Army, Lewisporte on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Pallbearers were her grandchildren, Carmelita Milley, Desiree Snow, Bruce Burt, Dillon Layden; friends, Dan Budgell and Wayne Woolfrey. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Salvation Army Church will be gratefully accepted.
