BARRON, Dorothy Elizabeth (Bryan)
(Died March 23, 2008)

Passed away at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte on March 23rd, Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth (Bryan) Barron of Norris Arm, aged 83 years. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th at 2:00 pm from the Roman Catholic Church, Norris Arm. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th at 2:00 pm from the Roman Catholic Church, Norris Arm.

CHAULK, Netta
Born: March 13th, 1943
Passed on: March 7th, 2014

Received breath of life on March 13, 1943 of Tizzards Harbour, NL Netta Louise May Chaulk (nee Boyd), my beloved wife, mother of our sons and grandmother to my grandsons passed peacefully to heaven on March 7, 2014. Predeceased by her father Harold Boyd and mother Madge (Boyde). Netta was welcomed to heaven by a large circle of family, friends and beloved pets. You are dearly loved and will be truly missed by loving husband Clyde, sons Tony (Linda), Tolson (Gloria), Dwayne (Lorraine), Kerry (Kimberly), grandsons Kyle (Victoria) and Braden, a circle of family, relatives, friends and loving pets Casey, Maggie, Lilly, Oreo and Belle. Netta was much loved by those who were lucky enough to be part of her life. Family meant everything to her. A beautiful person with a generous spirit, she enriched lives of all who knew her, especially the few who weren't actually born to her but were lucky to call her Mom. On March 10, 2014 a going home service was held at the Salvation Army, Lewisporte with Majors Joshua and Pauline Randell officiating. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lewisporte. Funeral services were professionally directed by Nova Lee Scammell of Families First Funeral Home.

CHIPPETT, Lucy May
Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 Lucy May Chippett age 89 years of Campbellton. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Elsie Snow; husband Clifford Chippett (1968); daughter Marie Chippett-Turner, who passed away on May 9, 2013 in her 70th year. At the time of Marie's passing, she had requested that due to her mom's health, her death would not be announced. Lucy is also predeceased by her brothers Eric (Madeline), Hardy (Frances), Lloyd and Frederick; sisters Elsie (Ernest) and Minnie (Scott). Left with fond and loving memories are her son Hardy (Terry) of Wesleyville; daughter Mary Lou Chippett of Grand Falls-Windsor; son-in-law Thomas Turner of St. John's; grandchildren Jamie (Michelle) Chippett, Jeremy (Jennifer) Chippett, Chad (Cailey) Boone, Jill (Kevin) Hartle and Danielle (David) Power; great-grandchildren Sydney Hartle, Sophie Chippett and Sebastian Perry-Chippett, sisters-in-law; Pearl Snow of Campbellton, Myrtis Chippett of Campbellton, also many nieces, nephews on both sides of her family and many cherished friends whom she made over the years, wherever she resided. Funeral service took place at The Salvation Army Citadel, Campbellton on Thursday, March 13, 2014 with Captain Kay Barnes officiating. Interment followed at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Campbellton. Donations in her memory may be made to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Campbellton. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove - Musgrave Harbour. COBB, Ella
Born In: Barr'd Islands, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Born: October 10th, 1925
Passed in: St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Passed on: February 20th, 2014

Predeceased by her husband George; parents Dorothy Wells and Stewart Combden and her brothers Robert, Harold, Richard and John. Leaving to mourn her sisters Edna and Loretta; brothers Pearce, Hormon, Herb, Cliff, Bob and Howard; daughters Jacqueline, Margaret (Raymond), Deborah (Dale) and Cheryl (Luke); grandchildren Craig, Cherie, Naomi, Amanda, Joseph, Nicholas and Jared and 12 great grandchildren. With heavy hearts we say goodby to our dear mother who passed away after a long illness on February 20th, 2014 at Hoyles Nursing Home, St. John's. She was a woman of profound faith and had a deep love of the Bible. She took great pride in her girls and great joy in her grandchildren. She loved to cook and knit and spent many wonderful years on Fogo Island with her husband George.
Warmest thanks to Hoyles staff for the care and respect shown to our mother and appreciation for the gifts of flowers and food. A graveside service for family & friends will be held at the Fogo Island Jehovah's Witness's Cemetery in July.

HEAD, Charlotte
(December 22, 1939 - March 29, 2014)

Passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mrs. Charlotte Head, age 74 years, formally of Wings Point, NL. She is predeceased by her husband, Raymond; parents, Ananias, and Florence Gillingham; sisters, Evelyn, Marie, and Daphne. Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her step-sons, Murdock and Ewen (Sharon); sons, Ewen (Mavis), Paul (Roxanne), Perry (Betty), Leonard (Verlie), Truman (Wanda); daughters, Marilyn (Ronald), Mona, Donna, Beulah, Rhonda (Shawn), Norma (Corey); grandchildren, Blaine, Devon, Cassandra, Kate-Lynn, Sabrina, Eugene, Sarah, Morgan, Melissa, Isaac, Lonnie, Stephanie, Stephen, Scott, Jamie, Keon, Keith, Courtney, Lori-Lynn and Donovan; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Alyssa; brothers, Clifford, Carol, Eldred, Harvey and Benny; brother-in-law, Herbert; sister, Madeline; sisters-in-law, Betty, Rosie, Christine, Dulcie and Linda and a large circle of other relatives and friends. The public visitation took place Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 7 - 9 pm & Monday, March 31, 2014 at 10 am - 5 pm from the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Wings Point, NL. The funeral service took place on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 2 pm from the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Wings Point, NL with interment to follow from the Anglican Church Cemetery, Wings Point, NL. Pallbearers were sons, Paul, Perry, Truman, Leonard; grandsons, Scottie Gillingham and Eugene Head. As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations were made to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Wings Point, NL will be gratefully accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL.

PARDY, Olive
Passed in: Twillingate, Canada
Passed on: March 19th, 2014

Passed peacefully away at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center, Twillingate on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, Olive Pardy of Cobb's Arm, age 85. Predeceased by her sister Elsie and brother Don. Leaving to mourn her husband, Herbert, six children Don (Adeline), Phyllis (Raymond), Clyde (Debbie), Angus, Randy (Kim) and Carl, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, sister Marion (Heber-deceased), sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, cousins, nephews and nieces. Rested at Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22 at New World Island Central United Church, Newville at 2 p.m.

WHEATON, Effie Sarah
(January 9, 1927 - March 29, 2014)

Passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mrs. Effie Sarah Wheaton, age 87 years of Frederickton, NL. Effie leaves to mourn her passing and to celebrate her life: daughters, Louise (Cliff) and Edna (Robert), son, Neil (Denise) and brother-in-law, Scott (Lydia); 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The public visitation will took place Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 7-9 pm, Monday, March 31, 2014 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm, Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from the United Church, Frederickton, NL. The Funeral Service took place on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 2 pm from the United Church, Frederickton, NL. The interment followed from the United Church Cemetery, Frederickton, NL. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations were made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Frederickton, NL. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL.
