It is with sadness that the families of the late Alicia (Lisa) Catherine Burry announce her passing on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, aged 44 years of Stoneville, NL formerly of Boyd's Cove, NL. Lisa leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband, Cory Hodder; children, Sarah & Jordan; parents, Francis & Bridgette Burry; sisters, Bernetta (Chris) Donovan, Carol Ann Burry; brothers, John (Naida), Don (Verna), Gerald, Anthony (Sandra), Art (Debbie), & Norbert (Rose); as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Patrick & Alice Pearce and Arthur & Nora Burry. There was a gathering of family and friends on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 2-4PM from the Roman Catholic Church, Boyd’s Cove, NL. The Funeral Mass took place Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from the Roman Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Boyd’s Cove, NL. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Family were gratefully accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL.
