It is with sadness that the families of the late Hardy Ronald Boyd announce his passing on August 12, 2016 at his residence in Laurenceton, NL aged 92 years. Hardy leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children, Cyril (Pauline), Almon (Joy), Ellison (Ruth), Lila (Baxter), Loretta (Kirk) and Sherry (Derek); grandchildren, Jennifer (Wade), Jamie (Heidi), Stephen (Travis), Jason (Penny), Greg (Lori), Cory (Patti) Byron, Nick (Tanis), Stephanie (Rick), Sherry (Daina), Barry and Brian (Cindi); 17 great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Hardy is predeceased by his wife Mabel, son Bertie, grandson Dwayne, parents Frederick and Gertie Boyd, as well as number of brothers and sisters. The public visitation took place Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 7-9 pm, Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm from The Pentecostal Church, Laurenceton, NL. The funeral service took place Monday, August 15, 2016 at 2 pm from the Pentecostal Church, Laurenceton, NL. The interment followed at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Laurenceton, NL. In lieu of flowers and has expressions of sympathy donations in his memory were made to the Pentecostal Women's Ministries Department. Laurenceton, NL.
