BUDGELL, Netta
(April 2, 1926 - April 21, 2014)

Passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Center, Botwood, NL, Mrs. Netta Budgell, age 88 years, formally of Lewisporte, NL. She is predeceased by her husband, Abner; parents, Frank & Gertie Rowbottom; sisters, Calm, Vivian, Daisy, Tassie & Hazel; brothers, Jack, Gloss & Albert. Left to mourn her passing are her daughter, Dona (Ron); grandson, Jamie (Dominique); granddaughter, Janielle (Andrew Wood); great-grandchildren, Kevin, Jake, Eric, Allie; sister, Jean and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Public visitation took place Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 7-9 PM & Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte,NL.
The funeral service took place Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 2 pm from the Salvation Army, Lewisporte, NL. Interment followed from the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL. Pallbearers were Matthew Reid, Ross Windsor, Michael Rowbottom, Kayward Rowbottom, Ernest Budgell and Gilbert Budgell. Honorary pallbearer was Guy Lane. Flowers by request. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL.

BUDGELL, Scott
(August 10, 1939 - April 29, 2014)

It is with sadness that the families of the late Scott Budgell announce his passing at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL aged 74 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memores are: wife, Francis; son, Brad (Yvonne); brothers, Charles, Gilbert, & Danny (Rosemary); sisters, Doreen (Harold) Curtis, Kay (Neil) Thompson; brother-in-law, Rick (Harriett) Martin; sisters-in-law, Beulah (Loyola) Walsh, Patsy (Aubrey) Hicks; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Scott is predeceased by: his parents, Eli & Mary Budgell; sister, Ivy Pilgrim; sister-in-law, Ethel Budgell; parents-in-law, Herbert & Effie Martin; brother-in-law, Doug Martin. The public visitation will take place Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 7-9 pm & Thursday May 1, 2014 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL. The funeral service will take place Friday May 2, 2014 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, Lewisporte, NL. The interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL. Pallbearers were Brad Budgell, Harold Curtis Jr, Deon T, Darryl T, Neil Thompson and Danny Budgell. As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.

DENNISON, Joan Mary

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Joan Mary Dennison (nee Outram) announce her passing on April 6, 2014, at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre in Twillingate at the age of 82 years. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Alfred H. Dennison in 1978 and her parents William and Helen Outram. Left with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her loving sister Margaret Outram, England, her children Helen (Keith Walker), John (Katherine) and her grandchildren Alex, Tyler, Andressa and Peter, whom she loved dearly. Also leaving a large circle of family and friends throughout both Canada and the United Kingdon. At Joan's request, cremation has taken place with Memorial Service and interment to take place on Saturday, May 10 at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Anglican Church in Twillingate. The family will be receiving friends at Isles Funeral Home, 2 Whitehorne's Hill in Twillingate on Friday, May 9 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m.
A very special thank you to Dr. Popaduik, Dr. Melvin, Dr. Duggan, Dr. Ravalia, Dr. Keough and Cathy Cahill for your skill, dedication, compassion and support. Also, thank you to the staff of the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre and all of her friends who took such good care of Mom during her final days. We will always be grateful to you for making such a difficult time easier.
At this special time, we would like to thank the wonderful people of Twillingate who welcomed our parents to the island and made it a home to them for all these years; your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten. Forgey, Audrey Ilene
- The death of Audrey I. (Porter) Forgey of Kennebec Manor occurred peacefully at her residence on Monday, April 7, 2014. Audrey was the wife of the late James Leslie Greer and the late Wallace A. Forgey. She was born in Porterville, NL on October 18, 1926 and was a daughter of the late Caleb and Sarah (Ball) Porter. Audrey spent the greater part of her life in the Saint John area and enjoyed cooking, nature and her family. She is survived by one son Steven (Chantal) Forgey; three daughters, Patricia Seeds (Roy Neil), Debra Greer, Denise (Don) Baillie; one brother, Max (Sheila) Porter; one sister, Minnie Haynes; five grandchildren; Stacy, Peter, Heather, Monica and Erin; eight great-grandchildren; Matthew, Mitchell, Kristin, Brett, Josie, Cody, Leto and Alder. Audrey was predeceased by two sons; Walter and Larry Greer and a daughter, Maxine Greer; two brothers, Harold and Harrison Porter; several sisters, Lucy, Edith, Phyllis, Edna, Jessie, Gladys and Julie. Rested at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425). The funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Bay View Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery, Nerepis, NB later in the spring. It is with sadness that the families of the late Annie Christina Frost announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL aged 86 years. Annie leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children, Carl (Verna), Donald (Maxine), Margaret (Fred), Ernest (Pauline), Louise (Gary), Lisa (Michael), Keith (Michelle), & Beverley (Mitchell); grandchildren, Kimberley, Carla, Stephen, Melissa, Donnie, Walter, Freddie, Michael, Jamie, Mary-Ann, Lorna, Katie, Ryan, Laura, Nikki, Erica, & Aaron; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Carter, Shelby, Riley, James, Violet, Blaise, Summer, Seth, Liam, Cody, Alexander, Lilly, Kierra, Sean-Paul, Caleb, & Spencer; brother, Billy Hynes; as well as a number of nieces nephews relatives and friends. Annie is predeceased by her husband, James Frost; parents, William & Gladys Hynes; brothers, Hector, Roy, Kevin, Richard, & Ben; sisters, Alice & Mary. Public visitation took place Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm, Friday, April 11, 2014 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from the Pentecostal Church, Campbelton, NL. The funeral service took place Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2 pm from the Pentecostal Church, Campbelton, NL with Pastor Tilley officiating. The interment followed at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Campbelton, NL. Pallbearers were her sons, Carl, Don, Ernest, Keith; sons-in-law, Fred Snow and Michael Hurley. As expression of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Pentecostal Church Memorial Fund, Campbellton, NL were gratefully accepted. HARRINGTON, Frank
(September 22, 1932 - April 17, 2014)

It is with sadness that the families of the late Frank Harrington announce his passing at the A. M. Guy Memorial Hospital, Buchan's NL, aged 81 years. Frank is predeceased by his parents, Paddy & Esther Harrington, & son Joseph. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children; son Jerome; daughter Geraldine (Terry Beaton); daughter in law Anna; and wife Fronie;grandchildren Joey(Alyssa),and Michael (Kim); great grandchildren; Seth, Ethan, Trevor, Hunter, and Parker; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. The public visitation will take place Sunday, April 20, 2014 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Norris Arm, NL. The funeral mass will take place Monday, April 21, 2014 at 11am from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Norris Arm, NL. HIGGINS, Patricia (Pats) Ann (nee Stroud)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, sister and grandmother. Predeceased by her partner Pearce Higgins, parents Richard and Christina Stroud, sister Carmel Mary and sister-in-law Phyllis Stroud. Leaving to mourn with loving memories daughter Kim (Todd) Pennell, son Rod (Leigh-Ann) Higgins, grandchildren Shalene, Ryan, Brett and Aaron, brother Donald Stroud, sisters Catherine Stroud and Regina Maharajah (Paul Dawson) and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Parish, Norris Arm South. Funeral service was held on Saturday May 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Families First Funeral Home, Lewisporte.

HODDINOTT, Alma Joyce
(March 30, 1936 - April 16, 2014)

Passed away peacefully into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL, Mrs. Joyce Hoddinott, age 78 years, of Embree, NL. The public visitation took place Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from the Pentecostal Church Embree, NL. The funeral service took place on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 2 PM from the Pentecostal Church, Embree, NL and the interment followed at the Old Pentecostal Community Cemetery, Embree, NL. Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her daughters, Roxanne (Sterling Twyne), Sheila (Bruce Dalley); grandchildren, Joe (Vicki), Megan (Michael), Gabriel (Krissy), Jabez; great-grandson, Benjamin Michael and a large circle of other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Bruce; infant son, Joseph Dale; infant daughter, Rhonda; parents, Joseph and Phyllis Bursey; sisters, Doris and Greta; brothers, Max and Calvin. IRELAND, Wavey
After a brief illness at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario, on Monday April 28, 2014 our beloved Wavey passed away at the age of 77. She is survived and dearly missed by her husband Bill, loving Mother of Warren (Laura) and Wendy. She is Grandma to two beautiful grandchildren Brody and Bailey. Dear sister of Lillian Pride of Cobb's Arm Newfoundland. Also loved by her nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held in the New World Island United Church Saturday June 21st, 2014 at 1 p.m. A reception will follow in the Church hall. In lieu of flowers the family requests those wishing to make a donation to the Montfort Hospital Foundation 713 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario, K1K 0T2, The New World Island United Church or a charity of your choice. Love and heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the emergency and intensive care units at the hospital. They provided tremendous loving care to Wavey and the whole family during a very trying time.

MARTIN, Dorothy Mary
(January 31, 1936 - April 2, 2014)

Passed away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, the late Dorothy Mary Martin of Boyd's Cove, NL, aged 78 years. Dorothy leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children, Ty (Barbara) McLean, Madonna (Gary Hutchings) Hurley, Delores Martin, Amanda (Randy Blake) Lockyer, & Kim (Kerry Pike) Martin; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as a number of relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Francis Martin. The public visitation took place Friday, April 4, 2014 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL. The funeral service took place Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11 am from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Boyd's Cove, NL. Interment will be at a later date. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory were made to the Family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL.
