The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, of Vivian Lavina Brown (nee Hann) of Summerside and formerly of Bellisland, Nfld.; aged 86 years. Vivian was born on June 24, 1926, in Bellisland, to her late parents Louis and Florence (Spraclin) Hann. Beloved wife of the late James Brown and loving mother of Fred, Gerald, Elsie, Pauline, Darlene, Gladys, Shirley, Lorraine, Pam, Janet, Geraldine and Carol. Special friend of Mike O'Brien and Linda and Roger Thompson. Also lovingly remembered by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister Florence (Harry) French of Newfoundland, and her brother Bill (Marg) Hann of Toronto, Ont. Besides her parents and husband, Vivian was predeceased by her son Rendal Drover, her brother Hubert Hann, and sisters Doris Hann, Myrtle Lachey and Janet Snider. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Saturday, Aug. 4, then to the St. Mary's Anglican Church for a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place at St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors. Visiting hours on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations in Vivian's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, July 1, 2012 of Mary Osmond-Callaghan (nee Kean) of Summerside, and formerly of Gander, Nfld., aged 74 years. Mary was born on October 8, 1937 in Pound Cove, Nfld., to her late parents Jesse and Violet (nee Mullette) Kean. Beloved wife of James Louis Callaghan. Loving mother of Terry (Judy) Osmond of Wesleyville, Nfld., Pam (Arthur) Cooper of Gander, Nfld., Duane (Cathie) Osmond of Summerside, Paula (Paul) Wolfe of Halifax, N.S., step-mother of Sandra (Dale) Callaghan of Lethbridge, AB., Nancy (Christian) Callaghan of Comox, B.C., Barbara (Ernest) Callaghan of Summerside, and Stephen (Nicole) Callaghan of Halifax, N.S. Also lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers Garland (Helen) Kean and Maurice (Marion) Kean all of Wesleyville, Nfld.
