The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday,
November 27, 2009, of David "Dave" Hanson,
of Summerside, aged 69 years.
Born in Grand Falls, N.L., he was the son of the late Cyril and Myrna
(Knight) Hanson. Survived by his wife Yvonne (Sonier) Hanson; daughters
Marla Hanson, Toronto, ON; Carla (Glenn) Backmeier, Kanata, ON; grandson
Zachary Backmeier; and by a brother Robert Hanson, Happy Valley, Goose Bay,
N.L. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service
will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery,
Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday morning from 9:45 a.m. until the time of
the service. Memorial donations to Summerside Meals on Wheels would be
appreciated.

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on
Tuesday, June 16, 2009, of Benedict "Ben" John
Kennedy, of Summerside,
aged 75 years. Born in St. John's, N.L., he was the son of the late Edmund
and Clara (Power) Kennedy. Survived by his wife, Doreen (Arsenault) Kennedy,
son, Stephen (Ann) Kennedy, Alymer, Que., Ben (Carol) Kennedy, Kensington,
Chris Kennedy (Mike Brewster), Vancouver, B.C., Kevin (Darlene) Kennedy,
Charlottetown, Lisa Livingston-Kennedy (Rod Thibideau), Summerside, Kelly Kennedy,
Halifax, N.S., grandchildren, Jill and Andrew Kennedy, Jodi and Kelsey Livingston,
Scott and Brian Matheson, Taylor Perry, great-grandchildren, Bradley and Ethan
Matheson, brother, Peter (Amelda) Kennedy, sisters, Clara (Bill) Picco, Theresa
Kennedy, Catherine (Jim) Tarrant, and by a sister-in-law, Hilda Kennedy, all
of St. John's, N.L. Predeceased by brothers, Patrick, Ed and Dominique Kennedy,
sisters, Ann (Cyril) Sears and Mary Kennedy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home,
Summerside, until Friday, then to St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Summerside,
for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul's Roman Catholic Cemetery,
Summerside. Visiting hours Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
On Thursday evening, members of the
Summerside Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Service of Remembrance,
at the funeral home, at 6:45 p.m.

Born in 13/12/1905 at Paradise, Newfoundland, Canada
Peacefully at Perrin's View Lodge, Clinton on Tuesday July 28, 2009,
of Ethel (Clarke) Perrin, aged 103 years. Born on Dec. 13,
1905, in Paradise, N.L., daughter of the late William John
and Margret (Janes) Clarke.
Predeceased by her husband, John, two infant daughters, two brothers and two
sisters. Leaving to mourn three sons, Harold (Stella deceased), William
(Wanda) and John (Geraldine), eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren,
three great-great-grandchildren, two sisters and a large number of nieces
and nephews. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, where
visitation was held on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9, then forwarded to the
Hickey's Funeral Home, 571 Conception Bay, Highway, Kelligrews, N.L.
(709-834-3051) for visitation on Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on
Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon. Funeral Service Saturday at 2 p.m. in the
Salvation Army Citadel Corps, Long Pond, C.B.S., N.L. Interment in Salvation
Army Cemetery, Long Pond. If so desired contributions may be made to the

The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday,
Feb. 17, 2009, of Warren Reynolds, of Waterview
Road, Summerside, and formerly of Cambridge, Ont., aged 59 years. Born
in Caplin Cove, N.L., he was the son of the late Samuel and Gladys (Honneywell)
Reynolds. Survived by his wife and best friend, Debbie Reynolds, children,
Joyelle Reynolds, Cambridge, Ont., Jeffery (Leah), Cambridge, Ont., Tony,
Calgary, Alta., Jennifer (Robert) Coveyduck, Holyrod, N.L., sister, Ruby
French, Cambridge, Ont., brothers, Bert (Rose) Reynolds, Old Perlican,
N.L., Chesley (Carol) Reynolds, Mount Carmel, N.L., mother-in-law, Alice "Erma" Hendel,
sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Doug (Penny) Davidson, Bath, Ont.,
David (Bev) Davidson, Cambridge, Ont., Daryl (Darla) Davidson, Cambridge,
Ont., Kyle (Cathy) Davidson, Brantford, Ont., Dale Muller, Kitchener, Ont.,

ROBERTS, Alpheaus Samuel (Al)
Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Tuesday
April 28, 2009, of Alpheaus Samuel (Al) Roberts of Summerside, P.E.I., aged
73 years. Born in Cornerbrook, N.L., on Jan. 9, 1936,
son of the late James Roberts and Madge (Davis) Roberts (Whitby). Devoted
husband of Beulah (Montgomery) Roberts, for the past 50 years. Beloved
father of Susan Gomes (Barrie, Ont.), Sandra McGarry (Pickering, Ont.),
and David Roberts (Dartmouth, N.S.). Cherished grandfather of Danielle
Gomes, Christina Roberts, Caitlin Gomes, Michael McGarry, James Roberts,
and Jonathan Roberts. Loving brother of Vera Detmers (Whitby, Ont.),
Dan Roberts (Toronto, Ont.), James Roberts (Toronto, Ont.), Eric Roberts
(Toronto, Ont.), and Doreen Chalmers (Langley, B.C.). Al was a successful
Bell Manager for 36.5 years. Retired for the past
19 years, Al enjoyed his retirement by spending time with his grandchildren,
entertaining his family at his trailer at Marco Polo, golfing, and travelling
with his devoted wife Beulah. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington,
for visitation on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. No funeral service by personal
request. Private family committal service will be held in Geddie Memorial
Cemetery, Spring Brook. If desired memorial contributions may be made,
