Manning, James F. - Passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, Nov. 9, 1996, Jim Manning, aged 77 years. WWII Veteran of the Royal Navy (PJX20087). Predeceased by his son Robert in 1954 and his son Paul in 1972. Leaving to mourn his sad loss, his loving and devoted wife Mary (O'Brien); five sons: Con (Carol), Jim (Bernadette), Wayne (fiancee Michelle), Brian (fiancee Donna), at Torbay, Gerard (Phyllis) at Calgary, Alta; brothers: Joseph (Catherine), Cyril (Dot); sisters-in-law Evelyn, in Boston; brothers-in-law: Gordon O'Brien and Joseph O'Brien, of Torbay, Robert Dodds of Chico, California, Francis Cole of Kentucky; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
