Virginia Mary Covey - 67, Hackett's Cove, Halifax County, died January 5, 1993, in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Bay Bull's, Nfld., she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Maloney) Hearn. She is survived by her husband, Rufus; two sons, Michael, John, both of Hackett's Cove; two daughters, Connie (Mrs. David Keeping), Indian Harbour; Faye (Mrs. Stephen Byrne), Hackett's Cove; four brothers, Cecil, Bay Bull's; Lawrence, Sackville; Richard, Ottawa; Kevin, Barrie, Ont.; four sisters, Geraldine (Mrs. Ben Hicks), New Jersey, U.S.A.; Dorothy (Mrs Kevin Mulcahy), Bay Bull's; Rose (Mrs. Frank Kenny), Red Deer, Alta.; Patricia (Mrs. Wayne Milley), Donkin, Cape Breton; 10 grandchildren; a great grandchild. She was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur, Victor. The body has been cremated. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in St. Peter's Anglican Church, Hackett's Cove, Rev. Harry Corbin officating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or St. Peter's Anglican Church.
