SENIOR, GEORGE W. GRANDBANK, Nfld. Monday, December 19, 1977 The Chronicle-Herald, Halifax, N.S. George W. Senior 86, died Saturday at Grandbank Faith Home. Born in Flat Island, Placentia, Nfld., he was a fisherman for most of his life. He is survived by his second wife Carrie (Slade), two sons, Ralph in Sydney, Dolph in England, and seven daughters, Beatrice (Franton) in Halifax; Lillie (Senior), St. John's, Nfld.; Minnie (Miller), St. John's, Nfld.; Nellie (Stubridge), Edith (Green), and Olive (Barrett) of Arnold's Cove, Nfld.; and Rita (Adams) of Burin, Nfld. He was predeceased by his first wife, Janet (Stuckless), a son, George, and a daughter, Clara. The body is at the Salvation Army in Grandbank and will be buried at a cemetery there Monday.
