Ronald Collier
1931-2014

It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald Collier announces his passing on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Charles LeGrow Health Centre. Born in Diamond Cove he was the son of the late Samuel and Annie Collier. He will be loving remember and never forgotten by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother, Gerald and sister, Loretta, many nieces and nephews, friends. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Fillatre's Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, where visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. In keeping with Ronald wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 4th at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Canon Hannah Dicks officiating. Donations in Ronald memory may be made to the family. ENWOOD, Cedella
July 31, 1951 - September 4, 2013

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cedella Enwood (nee Chaulk) announces her passing on Thursday September 4, at Western Memorial Hospital Hospital at the age of 63 years. Born in Burnt Islands, Cedella was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ada Chaulk, she was also predeceased by her mother and father in law Philip and Queenie Enwood. Cedella leaves to mourn with a lifetime of precious memories her devoted husband Angus of 44 years. Loving mother of Shirley Enwood (Barry Keeping), Melvin (Tracy) Enwood. Proud grandmother of Blaine, Dylan and Victoria. She will forever remain in the hearts of her brothers and sisters; Melvin Chaulk (Bertha) Lydia Chaulk (Blaine), Vera Lillington, Calvin (Norma) Chaulk. She will also be sadly missed by her in laws; Florence (Vincent) Ball, Joan Enwood, Wanda (Kevin) Courtney, Lucy (Marty) Bryan and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and many friends. The family received friends on Monday at the family residence in Burnt Islands. FARRELL, John
1921-2014

Passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre, Port Aux Basques on Thursday September 25, 2014, John Farrell at the age of 93 years. He was born at Port Aux Basques, NL and was the son of the late Arthur and Sarah (Lomond) Farrell. He was predeceased by his wife Julia Melissa (Lawrence), his granddaughter Nicole Melissa Farrell, father and mother-in-law Joseph and Julia Ann (Hardy) Lawrence, brothers Thomas, Albert, Russell, Bradley, sisters Rita Dean and Milida Bragg, son-in-law Tony Cancellara, brothers-in-law Reginald Lawrence, James Lawrence, Joseph H. Lawrence, sisters in-law Lillian Stegg, Classie Mercer, Violet Johansen. GILLAM, Maureen Jessica

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Maureen Jessica (Gale) Gillam, Sept. 4, 2014 at her residence in Sydney, N.S. She was predeceased by her husband Sgt. Craig Gillam on Oct. 3, 2006. She leaves to mourn her loving common-law partner Gerry Cormier, son Stephen, South Branch N.L., daughter Gale (Trevor Gillingham), Oromocto, N.B.; parents, Pius and Cecilia Gale, South Branch, N.L., sisters, Jenny Brake (Tony), Oromocto, N.B., Kathleen Sweetapple (Jim), South Branch, N.L., Margie Gale (Todd AuCoin), Stephenville, N.L., two nephews, Tyler Brake and Alexander Sweetapple, two nieces, Alexandra Frank and Megan Adams, two great-nieces, four great-nephews, and her dear friend Rita Gillam and a wide circle of family and friends. Maureen will be fondly remembered for her zest for life. She truly enjoyed socializing with friends. Her and Gerry loved to dance and enjoyed riding their Harleys. Visitation and rosary will be held at St. Sylvester's Church, South Branch, N.L. (today) Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. Her memorial services to be held the following day at 11 a.m. with a social gathering held at the South Branch Social Club. December 7, 1942 - September 9, 2014

Passed away peacefully at his residence in Rose Blanche on Tuesday September 9, Albert Herritt at the age of 71 years. Albert is survived by his loving wife Joan (nee Billard) of 50 years. Sons; Shawn (Colleen), Dean (Sandra), grandchildren; Brandon, Lucas, Andrew, and Jennifer. Sister Mabel (Winston), brothers Willard (Theresa), Henry (Jocelyn). Half brother Harry (Sylvia), half sister Athena Buckland, half sister Margaret Parsons, sister in law Marie Wagg. Brother in law Kelvin Billard (Roma), sister in law Bernice Billard (Ephie) and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Albert was predeceased by his mother and father Florence and William Herritt, mother and father in law Ada and Gordon Billard. Half brothers; Gerald Wagg, Aubrey Herritt (Debbie), Bud (Thelma) Herritt, half sister Mary (Garland), brothers in law Todd Buckland and Albert Parsons. Visitation took place on Wednesday and Thursday at the family residence in Rose Blanche. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Corwin Harold Keeping announces his sudden passing on Monday September 1, at his residence in Hamilton Ontario at the age of 41 years. Corwin was predeceased by his father Herman Keeping on April 30, 2005. He leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories his family; mother Lillian Keeping, son Dalton Keeping, brothers and sister; Glenn Keeping (Barbara), David Keeping (Josie), Madonna Billard (Dana), Herman Keeping (Cindy) all of Burnt Islands, Leroy Keeping (Laura) Isle aux Morts, 6 nieces, 4 nephews and a large circle of extended family and many friends.
