BRYNE, Harvey
Port Aux Basques, NL

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harvey Bryne announce his passing at the Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Sunday September 8th, 2013 at the age of 82. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his six children, Freda Bryne, Kay Bryne (Ralph), Chris Bryne (Dianne), Edgar Bryne (Viola), Ruby Lush (David) and Jason Bryne (Tammy); one brother Bill Byrne (Beatrice), five sisters: Kay LeRiche, Joan Osmond (Edgar), Ruby May (George), Gertie Clarke (Rowland) and Laura Hardy (Gerry); eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents William and Sarah Bryne, brother-in-law Ben LeRiche and son-in-law Garnet Wells. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home on Tuesday and Wednesday. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 12th at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church with Reverend Hannah Dicks officiating. The interment will follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery. The family guest book may be signed by visiting our website www.fillatre.ca

HATCHER, Ernest Norman
(December 3, 1934 - September 9, 2013)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ernest Norman Hatcher announces his peaceful passing at his residence in Rose Blanche on Monday September 9, 2013 at the age of 78 years. Born at Rose Blanche, Ernest was the son of the late Thomas and Olive (nee MacDonald) Hatcher. He was also predeceased by his brothers; Ralph, Philip, Clarence, sisters; Florence Allen, Nina Simms and Vivian Parsons. Left to mourn with many fond and precious memories of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather are his wife Shirley of 52 years, sons Tommy (June) Hatcher Rose Blanche, Norman (Tammy) Hatcher Halifax NS. Grandchildren Lance (Kimberley Morash), Shane, Josh Best, Tiffany, great grandson Jackson and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation took place on Tuesday and Wednesday at St. Michael's and All Angel's Anglican Church in Rose Blanche. Funeral services took place on Thursday September 12, 2 PM at St, Michael's and All Angel's Anglican Church, officiated by Rev. Maryrose Colbourne. To honour Ernest wishes cremation followed and the interment will take place at a later date. KENDALL, John Levi
(June 26, 1929 - September 14, 2013)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Levi Kendall announces his passing on Saturday September 14, at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center at the age of 84 years. Born in Codroy, John was the son of the late John and Susan (nee Collier) Kendall. He was also predeceased by his brother in laws; Joseph Lawrence, Cecil Lawrence and Earl Lawrence. He leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories his wife Mary of 60 years, his children; Patricia Kendall Port aux Basques, Walter Kendall London ON, Steve Kendall Codroy, and only granddaughter Winona. He will also be sadly missed by his brother in laws; Ernest Day, Doug Lawrence, Charles Lawrence, Raymond Lawrence, sister in laws; Pearl Simmons, Donna Weston and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and many friends. As requested by John, cremation has taken place and the interment will take place at a later date. MUSSEAU, Rickie
(March 22, 1958 - September 4, 2013)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rickie Musseau announces his passing on Wednesday September 4th at St Thomas Regional Hospital in Red Deer Alberta at the age of 55 years. Born in Port aux Basques Rickie was the son of the late Earl and Emma Musseau of Mouse Island. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving and devoted wife Lesley of 35 years of marriage, his 2 sons Shane (Angie), Andrew of Red Deer and daughter Candice (Rameen) of Edmonton. Grandchildren Kallie and Xavier, brothers Raymond Musseau (Audrey) of Port aux Basques, Alex Musseau (Jessie) of Port aux Basques, the late Don Musseau and the late Calvin Musseau. Sisters Harriet Strickland (Aubrey) of Port aux Basques, Hilda Cake (Richard) Stephenville, Ruby Osmond of Port aux Basques, Nancy Rideout (Don) of Port aux Basques, Darlene McNeil of Port aux Basques. Brother in law Benjiman Taverner of Nova Scotia, Linda Bennett (Bud) of Dartmouth Nova Scotia, Jocelyn Graves (Mike) of Winsor Nova Scotia, LuAnn Sheaves (Lloyd) of Port aux Basques, Celeste Stoddart (Bruce) of Bridgewater Nova Scotia, Beatrice Taverner of Codroy Valley, also a large number of nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends including the staff of Nexus Engineering and Machine where he had been currently employed. Visitation took place at Parkland Funeral Home in Red Deer on September 8th and funeral Services took place September 10th at Saint Luke's Anglican Church in Red Deer Alberta. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Rickie's life will take place in Port aux Basques, NL at a later date. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Parkland Funeral Home in Red Deer Alberta.
"Always In Our Hearts"

ST. CROIX, Katelyn Marie
1991 - 2013

With much sadness and heartache we announce the passing of our daughter Katelyn on Saturday September 14th, 2013 at the age of 22. She will be forever loved and missed by her mom and dad, Calvin and Nancy and her big brother, Jamie of New Maryland. She was the much loved granddaughter of Fintan and Mary St. Croix of South Branch Joyce Barnett of Clarks Corner. A special niece to her uncles, Steven Barnett (Melissa Durling) of Fredericton, Fintan St. Croix of Fredericton, Edgar (Carol), Raphael, Darrell (Tina) and Wilfred (Judy) St. Croix all of NL and her aunts, Sandra Barnett (Ian Hughes) of ON, Doris Stoddart (Paul) of NS and Cora (Alvin) MacIsaac of NL. Cousins Ella Barnett, Alisha Benoit, David and Joe St. Croix. Her best friend Jordan Laughlin and her special fur babies Celeste, Odie and Spartacus. Katelyn was predeceased by her grampie, Bob Barnett. Katelyn attended FHS, graduating in 2009 and Eastern College in 2011 with a certificate in Veterinarian Administrative Assistant. She was currently employed at New Maryland Pharmacy. Katelyn had a deep love of animals and would have rescued every stray if she could, a passion for horses and riding, fishing and "mudding" with her car, (even when we told her not to) and spending time with her friends.
