MACISAAC, Norman
1926 - 2006

Passed away peacefully at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, Norman MacIsaac of the Codroy Valley at the age of 80 years. Born in Codroy Valley he was the son of the late Angus and Catherine Ann (nee Aucoin) MacIsaac. He was also predeceased by his five infant sons, Michael, Francis, Darryl, Maurice, and Derek. Also by his sister, Tina MacLellan. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children, Barbara (Brian) Chase, Ontario, Fabian (Betty) MacIsaac, Lorraine (Malcolm) King, St. Fintan's, NL, Kevin, Kelowna BC, Norma MacIsaac (Jack King) St. Fintan's, NL, Dion of Ontario, Damion of Kelowna, BC, Dominic of Vancouver, BC; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Gen O'Quinn extended care Port aux Basques, and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation took place Sunday at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Upper Ferry. Funeral Mass took place 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 16, at At. Ann's Roman Catholic Church officiated by Father Lee Lainey. Interment followed at Mount St. Thomas Roman Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements in the care of East Haven Funeral Home, Port aux Basques, 695-2300.

BILLARD, Levi
1926 - 2006

Passed away peacefully at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Friday, October 13, 2006 Levi Billard of Isle aux Morts at the age of 80 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Ambrose and Julia; sister, Margaret; and brother, Ambrose; sister-in-law, Bernice Billard; and brother-in-law, Joseph Lucas. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving family: wife, Becky of 49 years marriage; daughter, Wanda (Kevin) Lomond of Port aux Basques; son, Merrill (Irene) Halifax, NS; grandchildren, Mark, Lee and Sara; brothers, Clarence, Isle aux Morts, Winter (Ann) Isle aux Morts, Lindsay (Bernice) Isle aux Morts. Sisters: Gladys (Dan) Lawrence Isle aux Morts, Louise Lucas Stephenville Crossing, Harriet (Raymond) Green Burgeo, Geraldine (Max) Francis, Isle aux Morts, Eileen (Ephraim) Herritt Isle aux Morts, and Marilyn Smith Dartmouth, NS; sisters-in-law, Emily Billard North Sydney, NS, Julia Dicks Sarnia, ON, and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation took place on Saturday and Sunday at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts. Funeral services took place on Monday October 16, 2006 at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts officiated by Rev. Canon Hugh Fudge. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery. Funeral arrangements in the care of East Haven Funeral Home, Port aux Basques, 695-2300.

HAYMAN, Wilfred
1931 - 2006

Passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, October 16, 2006, Wilfred Hayman of Isle aux Morts at the age of 75 years. Born at Fox Island NL, he was the son of the late Walter and Susanna Hayman. He was also predeceased by his mother and father-in-law; step-mother, Alvina Hayman; and brother, Hughie Hayman. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving wife, Georgina of 55 years marriage; children, Wilfred (Clara) Hayman Cape Ray, Winnifred (Rodney) Keeping Burnt Islands, Georgina (David) Chaulk Burnt Islands, Lorena (Larry) Kendall Margaree, Ada (Howard) Lawrence Scarborough, ON, Annette (Michael) Gordon Sydney Mines, NS, Shirley Hayman (Barry Skinner) Isle aux Morts and Bernadette Osmond (Wayne LeFrense) Port aux Basques; 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and their families; brothers, George (Margo) Hayman Port aux Basques, Walter (Minnie) Hayman New Minas, NS, and Rex Hayman Port aux Basques; brothers and sisters-in-law, John Billard, Percy Billard (Harriet Warren), Shirley (Max) Evans, Martha (Seaward) Lawrence, Joseph (Shirley) Billard, Blanford (Doreen) Billard all of Isle aux Morts, Calvin Billard (Roxanne Seymour) St. John's, NL and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation took place on Tuesday and Wednesday at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts. Funeral services took place on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, 2 p.m. at Holy Spirit Church officiated by Rev Canon Hugh Fudge. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements in the care of East Haven Funeral Home, Port aux Basques, 695-2300.

OSMOND, Martha
1940 - 2006

Passed away peacefully at the Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre on Wednesday, October 25, 2006, Martha Osmond of Port aux Basques at the age of 66 years. Born in Burnt Islands she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Sara Jane Keeping. She was also predeceased by her husband, Nathan Osmond; sisters, Isabelle Musseau, Hazel Strickland, Christine Keeping and Belinda Skeard; brothers, Henry Keeping, John Keeping and Robert Keeping. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her loving family: daughters, Joyce Osmond (Pius Anderson) and Nancy Osmond (Tom Francis) all of Port aux Basques; sisters, Susie (Wilfred) Billard Margaree, Gertie (Ross) Patey, Ruth (Ralph) Leriche, Cecily (Dave) Mauger, Stella Barnes all of Port aux Basques and Minnie (Charlie) Paddock of Yarmouth, NS; brother, Hubert (Susie) Keeping of Port aux Basques; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sandy (Marge) Osmond Port aux Basques, Marie Pike Port aux Basques, Pat (Myrtle) Naugle Eastern Passage, NS, Ambrose Osmond Halifax, NS, Anne Keeping Port aux Basques and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many, many friends. Visitation took place on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Friday, October 27, 2 p.m. at St. James' Anglican Church, Channel officiated by Rev. Canon Hugh Fudge. Internment followed at St. James' Anglican Cemetery on High Street. Funeral arrangements in the care of East Haven Funeral Home, Port aux Basques, 695-2300.
