ANDERSON, Theodore (Teddy) Rodney
September 8, 1964 - November 18, 2010
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Teddy
Anderson announces his sudden passing on Thursday November
18th, at the
age of 46 years. Born at Port aux Basques, Teddy was the son of the late
Walter and Geraldine Anderson. He was also predeceased by his niece Amanda
Battiste in 2006. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his
loving family; brothers; Johnny St. John's NL, Wilfred, David, Robbie,
Todd, Andy, only sister Pauline (Jerome) Battiste, all of Port aux Basques.
He will also be sadly missed by his 8 nephews and nieces, and a large circle
of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Teddy was an avid hunter,
he loved spending time in the woods, and his greatest passion was spending
time at his cabin in Butter Harbour. He was kind and loving, and will be
sadly missed by all of those who were lucky enough to have had him as a
part of their lives, he will remain in our hearts forever. Visitation took
place on Saturday from 7-9 PM and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at East
Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Monday November 22,
2 PM at Wesley United Church, officiated by Rev. Katherine Eddy. Interment
followed at the Wesley United Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in

BAILEY, Dennis Michael
January 11, 1964 - November 13, 2010
Suddenly at his residence on Saturday, November 13, 2010. Dennis
Michael Bailey at the age of 46 years. Beloved husband for 25 years of Carol
(Osmond) Bailey. Loving father of Anthony Bailey and proud Poppa of Kaylin
all of Guelph. Cherished son of Malcolm Bailey of Grand Falls, NL and
the late Marie Bailey (2004). Dear brother of Joan MacArthur (Allan)
of Codroy Valley, NL, Bill Bailey (Sandra Hinks) of Belleville, ON, Carmel
Short (Roland), Guy Bailey (Donna) all of Port Aux Basques, NL, Wayne
Bailey, Linda Pitcher (Dan) all of Guelph, Christopher Bailey of Harvey,
NB, Paulette Bailey (Ronnie Buttery) of Lower Sackville, NS, and Brian
Bailey of Toronto. Dennis will be sadly missed by his in-laws Malcolm
Osmond (Rita) of Codroy Valley, NL, Phyllis Osmond (Lew) of Stephenville,
NL, Michael Osmond (Eileen), Wanda Kettle (Junior) all of Port Aux Basques,
NL, Leonard Osmond (Sharon) of Hermitage, NL, Audrey Seaward (Ross) of
St. John's NL, Ken Osmond (Peggy) of Guelph, Stan Osmond (Darlene) of
Corner Brook, NL, many nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and coworkers
from Linamar. Visitation took place on Friday November 19, from 2-4 and
7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home, Port aux Basques. Funeral services
took place on Saturday November 20, 2 PM at the Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle,
officiated by Pastor Jamie Warren. Interment followed at the Pentecostal
Cemetery, Trans Canada Highway. Funeral arrangements for Port aux Basques
were in the care of East Haven Funeral Home, 695-2300. Memorial contributions
to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Richard
Blackmore announces his passing on Tuesday November
9, 2010 at the age of 75 years.
Born in port aux Basques, Richard was the son of the late George and
Mary Blackmore. He was also predeceased by his wife Gertie. Sisters;
Lillian Lace, Anna Keeping. Brothers in law: Frank Pearce, Jack Keeping,
Jack King, Fred Battiste, Ronnie Keeping. He leaves to mourn with many
fond and precious memories his loving family; common law spouse Edna
Vautier. His children; George (Amanda) Halifax NS, Donna (Shawn) Carter,
Lilly (Michael) Ingram, Dwayne (Rubina), Shirley (Michael) Savoury all
of Port aux Basques. Grandchildren: Samantha, Timothy, Zachary, Tyler,
Paula. Great grandchildren: Owen, Ethan, Logan. Step children: Sheila
(Edward) Keeping, Kenneth (Deborah) Vautier, Lendy (Merina) Vautier,

continued on Wednesday evening and Thursday at St. Augustine's Anglican
Church in Margaree. Funeral services took place on Friday November 12th,
2 PM at St. Augustine's Anglican Church, officiated by Rev. Duncan Granter.
Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Funeral

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Caines
(nee Walters) announces her passing on Monday November 15th, at the age
of 76 years. Born at Isle aux Morts, Elizabeth was the daughter of the
late Garfield and Sarah Jane Walters. She was also predeceased by her
husband Emmanuel Caines, granddaughter Katie, great granddaughter Madison.
Brother William Henry. Sisters: Rosie Aucoin, Annie Walters, brother
in law Jim Mauger. Nephew Lewis Aucoin, great nephew Richard Osmond.

Catherine (Kay) Gale announces her passing on Sunday,
November 7, 2010 at the Charles
L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques at the age of 90 years. She
was predeceased by her husband: Walter J. Gale; son: Francis Gale; brothers;
Bill Chaisson, Gerald (Kay) Chaisson; sister: Rita (Stan) MacDonald;
granddaughter; Dianna (Bernard) Downey and daughter-in-law: Mary (Mamie)
Gale. Leaving to mourn are her sons; Kevin (Joan) Gale, Stephanie, Melanie,
Adam, Scott, Courtney, Jeffery, Megan and Mark; great grandchildren;
Carla, Ryan, Marissa, Trevor, Kail, Halle and Evan; sister; Terry (John)
Barany; step-brother: Hubert (Aggie) Walters; sisters-in-law: Marg Chaisson,
Geraldine Gale; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives
and cherished friends. Visitation took place from St. Ann's Parish in
Upper Ferry, Codroy Valley on Monday from 2-4 and 7 - 9 p.m. from where
the funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 9 at 2 p.m. Fathers
Maurice O'Quinn and Edward Terry officiating, followed by interment at
Mount St. Thomas cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may
be made to the Dialysis Unit of Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre,
Port aux Basques. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's
Funeral Home, Port aux Basques.
