It is with great sadness the family of the late John Nathan McNeil announces
his passing at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ont., on Nov. 1,
2007 in his 52nd year. John was the son of Fred and
Violet McNeil, but was well taken care of by James and Jenny Musseau of
Port aux Basques- He leaves to mourn his mother, Violet; his brothers,
Carison, Jimmy, Freddy (Peggy), Alan (Gwen), Junior (Kathleen), Glen (Amanda),
Brian (Vesta); and sisters, Darlene, Patsy (George), Kathleen (John), Francis
Pearce (Reg); as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. He was
predeceased by his father, Fred McNeil; and James and Jenny Musseau. Services
were held in Brampton, Ont. and his ashes will be sent home for burial
at a later date. Thank you to doctors and nurses in Toronto and Patsy Janes,
llona and Brenda Jones for all they did for our brother and son in his
time of need.

Passed peacefully away with her family on Thursday, November 1,
2007, Carrie Pike, at the age of 73 years. Carrie was the daughter
of the late Cyril and Ada Melbourne; she is also predeceased by her husband,
Robert James Pike on August 15, 2002; mother and father-in-law, James and
Alice Pike; granddaughters, Kayla and Deidra Pike; daughter-in-law, Vivian;
brothers-in-law. Gerald and Eric Pike; and sister-in-law, Genevieve. She
leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her family: sons, Robert
(Susan) Pike of Upper Ferry and Derek (Kim) Pike of Grand Falls Windsor;

It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Wilfred
Keeping announces his passing on Wednesday, November 7th at
the age of 61 years. Born in Burnt Islands he was the son of the late John
and Lillian Keeping. He is also predeceased by father-in-law, James Bryan;
brothers, Angus Keeping and Ralph Keeping; and brothers-in-law, John Bryan

Born at Port aux Basques, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Mabel
Short. Margaret was also predeceased by her brothers, Eric Short and Norman
Short; and by her sister, Maisie Short. She leaves to mourn with fond and
loving memories her long time companion, Eric Osmond; daughters, Tammy
(Gordon) Musseau and Arthesa Drake of Port aux Basques; granddaughters,

L. LeGrow Health Centre. Born in Mouse Island, she was the daughter of
the late Samuel and Verina (Pope) Anderson. She is survived by her loving
husband of 45 years, Ronald; was a loving mother to Josephine (Philip)
Janes of Eastern Passage, NS, Darlene (Tony) Legge of Mississauga, ON and
Denise Musseau of Dartmouth, NS. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren,
Terry, Matthew, Travis, Joshua, Tanner and Riley. She will be forever missed

ROBERTS, Doyle Clayton - Originally of Grand Falls,
passed peacefully away, November 13, age 77. Predeceased
by his beloved wife, Joyce; and precious daughter, Kathryn. Leaving to
forever cherish his life with them are daughters, Cara (John) and Nancy
(Shane); son, Michael (Alana); sisters, Bernice (Gerald) and Barbara
(Calvin); sisters-in-law, Shirley and Marie; and grandchildren, Kerstin,
Heidi, John, Benjamin, Hayley, Zackary, Jennifer and Jacob who loved
their "Gramps" beyond all eathly measures. The family

Nursing Home, Gander at the age of 97 years. Predeceased by her husband,

Charles, John, James, Henry, Albert and Willis; sisters, Clara and Laura.
She leaves to mourn her passing, son, Ronald (Shirley) of Clarenville;
