BOND, Stanley Lewis
December 19, 1944 - May 4, 2013

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stanley Lewis Bond announces his passing on Saturday May 4 at Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 68 years. Born at West Point, Stanley was the son of the late Hubert and Annie Bond. He was predeceased by his son Billy in 2004, brother Harry (Sarah) Bond, nieces Lorraine, Selina, father in law Reginald Heron. Left to mourn with many fond and precious memories of a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son in law are his loving and devoted wife Mamie (nee Heron) of 42 years, only daughter Lorraine Bond Halifax NS, grandchildren Brady Strickland, Kierra Strickland, mother in law Jane Heron, brother Wilson (Marie) Bond Burnt Islands, sisters Lydia (Clayton) Branton Islington NL, Melida (Junior) Munden Rose Blanche, Jacqueline (Kenneth) Keeping Burnt Islands, 12 nieces and nephews and a large circle of cousins, extended family and many friends. Visitation took place on Monday and Tuesday at St. Micheal's and All Angel's Anglican Church in Rose Blanche. Funeral services took place on Wednesday May 8, 2 PM at St. Micheal's and All Angel's Anglican Church officiated by Rev. Kris Gosse, interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts road. Funeral arrangements were in the care of East Haven Funeral Home, Port aux Basques, 695-2300. www.easthavenfuneralhome.com

HERON, Walter Garry
July 31, 1947 - May 21, 2013

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Walter Garry Heron announces his passing on Tuesday May 21 at Dr. Charles L. Legrow Health Center at the age of 65 years. Walter was predeceased by his father Adolphus Heron, father in law Albert Parsons, and brother in law Carter Chislett. He leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories his loving family; wife Melvina (nee Parsons) Heron of 46 years, children Walterine (Dean) Hardy, Jamie Heron both of Rose Blanche, mother Hazel Heron (Ringer) Labrador City, mother-in-law Margaret Parsons Rose Blanche, sisters Virginia (Richard) Bunter, Sharon (Terry) Parsons both of Labrador City, sisters-in-laws, Mabel (Ralph) Skinner, Annie Chislett both of Rose Blanche, Lynn (Shawn) Horwood Port aux Basques, nephews and nieces Justin, Amy, Jeremy, Samantha, Ruby, Paula, Roger, Tammy, Mark, Karen, Jennifer, Marcus and a large circle of extended family and many friends. Visitation took place on Wednesday and Thursday at St. Micheal's Anglican Church in Rose Blanche. Funeral services took place Friday May 24, 2013, 2:00 PM at St. Micheal's Anglican Church officiated by Rev. Kris Gosse. Cremation followed and the interment will take place at a later date. October 28, 1923 - May 12, 2013

Passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Calder Health Care Centre in Burgeo, NL, Clara Helen Kendall at the age of 89 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Marie (James) Whitehorne, Forrester (Gretta) Kendall, Guy (Jessie) Kendall, Jan Young and Clifford, Francis (Jack) Keeping, George (Marion) Kendall, Roy (Mary) Kendall, Dorcas (Gary) Kendall, Graham (Marg) Kendall, Dean (Annie) Kendall, Joy (Pierce) Denty, Paulette Whissell, Gail (Hartley) Cutler; 31 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her parents William and Mary Dominey; husband Simeon; son Albert and daughter Edith. Friends may visit St. Boniface Anglican Church in Ramea on Monday beginning at 8 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Charlie Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Anglican Church Cemetery, Ramea. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or a donation may be made to St. Boniface Anglican Church Memorial Fund. PARSONS, Jillian Edith Genesta
August 1, 1992 - May 5, 2013

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jillian Parsons announces the passing of their precious Angel on Sunday May 5, at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center at the age of 20 years. Jillian was predeceased by her grandparents William and Genesta Mackenzie. She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of loving memories, her mom and dad Karen Parsons and John Mackenzie, and her brother Matthew. Jillian will forever remain in the hearts of her grandparents Edith and Jim Parsons, godparents Aunt Denise and Uncle Tony Parsons, aunt Lorraine and uncle Stephen Mackenzie, special aunt Mary Kettle, loving caregivers; Cavell Battiste, Sarah Pearce, Cynthia Francis, Elaine Mauger, Brenda Pieroway, and a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Cremation has taken place, visitation will take place on Monday May 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at St. James Anglican Church on Tuesday May 14, 2 PM, officiated by Rev. Hannah Dicks. Interment will take place at a later date. He was also predeceased by sisters Tryphenia Seymour, Hilda Seymour, father & mother-in-law Arthur and Sarah Godwin, brothers-in-law Abram Godwin, William Godwin, Paul Lavinge, Dave Morgan, Eric Brown. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving family; wife Lavina (nee Godwin) Seymour of 56 years, children Randy (Betty) Mount Pearl NL, Bruce (Donna) Port aux Basques, Terry (Sylvia), Derek all of Ottawa, Delphine (Rodney) Roberts Goose Bay, Cindy (Glen Stuart) Middle Sackville, NS, Grandchildren, Sara, Shem, Krystle (James), Danielle (Tyler), Misty (Johnathan), Jason (Tanya), Brittany (Philip), Dylan, Ryland, great-grandchildren Danika, Philip, Clarke, brother Harold (Nellie) Seymour North Sydney NS, sisters Winnified (Max) Croucher, Maisie (Allan) Strickland all of Burnt Islands, brother-in-law Stanley (Clara) Godwin Lewisporte NL, sisters-in-law Annie Godwin Montreal, Esther Morgan Scarborough ON, Joyce Brown Wesleyville NL, and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends.
