BUTTERY, Clyde Wilson
(April 21, 1938 - May 2, 2010)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clyde
Wilson Buttery announces his passing on Sunday
May 2, 2010 at his residence in Grand
Bay at the age of 72 years. Born at Port aux Basques Clyde was the
son of the late Albert and Hannah Buttery. He was also predeceased
by his brothers James Buttery and sister Mary Osmond. Brother in laws;
Norris Cousins, Tom Francis, Alex Hardy, Randell Hardy, Hughie Osmond,
Jackie Hardy. Sister in laws; Jessie Buttery, Ada Buttery. He leaves
to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving family; wife Winnie
of 47 years marriage. Children; Matthew (Bernice) Sweet Margaree, Jack
(Brenda) Sweet Port aux Basques, David (Kathy) Sweet Bishop's Falls
NL, Robin (John) Doyle Port aux Basques, Tammy (Tom) Chambers Blue
Cove NL. Grandchildren; Matthew, Susan, Wendy, Anthony, Kenny, Benji,
CJ, Byron. Great grandchildren; Matthew, Emma, Jackie, Austin, Sheldon,
Jessie, Sarah, Cameron. Brothers; Fred Buttery Port aux Basques, Richard
(Mary) Buttery Toronto ON. Sisters; Annie Cousins, Betty Francis both
of Port aux Basques. Sister in laws; Mary (Max) Farrell, Jean Hardy
all of Port aux Basques, Eileen Hardy Halifax NS, and a large circle
of nieces, nephews, and many, many friends. Visitation took place on
Monday from 1-4 and 7-9 PM, Tuesday from 10 AM to 12 PM at East Haven
Funeral Home, Port aux Basques. Funeral services took place on Tuesday
May 4, 3 PM at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Grand Bay, officiated by
Father Andrew Nussey. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery,
Barachois Hill. Funeral arrangements were in the care of East Haven

HARDY, Ralph James
(August 24, 1926 - May 3, 2010)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ralph
James Hardy announces his passing on Monday
May 3, 2010 at Dr. Charles L Legrow
Health Center in Port aux Basques at the age of 83 years. Born at Burnt
Islands Ralph was the son of the late John and Selina Hardy. He was
also predeceased by his son Scott in 1982. Brothers; Ernest, Raymond,
John (Sylvia). Sisters; Sarah (Robert) Courtney, Annie Mae (Edward)
Lawrence, Blanche (William) Frampton. He leaves to mourn with fond
and loving memories his family; wife Cedella of 58 years marriage.
Children; Kevin Hardy Burnt Islands, Valerie Green Red Deer Alberta,
Ralph (Theresa) Hardy, Murray (Alfreda) Hardy all of Burnt Islands.
Darcy (Goldie) Hardy Port aux Basques, Greg (Brenda) Hardy Marystown
NL, Wade (Priscilla) Hardy Prince Edward Island. 22 grandchildren,
13 great grandchildren, sister Julie of Ontario, and a large circle
of nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation took place on Monday
evening and Tuesday at the family residence in Burnt Islands from where
the funeral service took place on Wednesday May 5, 2 PM officiated
by Mr. Mike Fitzgerald. Interment followed at the Jehovah's Witness

Passed peacefully away on Thursday, M0ay 6th, 210 at her residence,
Elizabeth Maud Keeping of Port Aux Basques at the age of 67 years.
Leaving behind her husband of 50 years: Gerald; children: Karen (Stedman),
Lisa (Mark), John (Pam) and Darren (Tina); grandchildren: Kristopher
(Effie), Tyler (Jennie), Rochelle, Daniel, Amy, Aaron and Ryan; sisters:
Donna (Aubrey) and Ruby (Lutz); brother: Junior; brothers and sisters-in-law:
Shirley, Morgan (Marina), Herbert and Beatrice, as well as a large
circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased
by her son: Danny and grandson: Johnathon; brother: John Matt; sisters:
Barbara and Alma; sister-in-law: Elsie; brother-in-law: Francis; parents:
Walter and Caroline Poole and mother-in-law: Priscilla Keeping. Friends

Catherine Lomond announces her passing on Sunday,

Born at Port aux Basques Rebecca was the daughter of late Emmanuel
and Selina Osmond .She was also predeceased by her husband Maxwell
G Lomond December 23, 2000 and daughter Deborah February 15, 1972.

William was the son of the late George William and Alice Simms. He
