INGRAM, Howard
1928-2018

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Howard Ingram announces his passing on Monday, March 26, 2018 with his loving family by his side at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Center at the age of 89. Born in Burgeo, he was the son of the late Fredrick and Fanny (Harris) Ingram. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Alfreda (nee Strickland), of 22 years, step children, Jessie (Charles) Osmond, Bill Collier and Stanley (Darlene) Collier, step grandchildren, Nancy, Lisa and Freddie, step great grandchildren, Morgan, Macy, Aaron and Kate, sisters, Phyllis Eccelston, Michigan, Marie Keeping, North Sydney, and brother, Edward (Stella), North Sydney, brothers and sisters in law, Levi (Margaret) Strickland, Leslie(Marion) Strickland, Aubery (Harriett) Strickland, Annette Courtney and Annie (Lewis) Bartlett, as well a large circle of nieces and nephews and friends. Howard was predeceased by his first wife, Emmie Ingram, brothers, George, Winston, Fred and Sidney, sister-and brothers in -law, Jessie (Arch) Nippard and James Courtney. The family will be receiving family and friends at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Port-aux-Basques on Tuesday, March 27th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday. March 28th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 29th at 2:00 p.m. at St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in memory of Howard can be made to Long Term Care of Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre. Born: April 29th, 1941
Passed on: March 13th, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lillian Keeping (nee Wells) announce her passing at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Tuesday, March 13th, 2018 at the age of 76 years. Born in Isle aux Morts, NL, Lillian was the daughter of the late Morgan (Lillian Jane) Wells (nee Cossar). She was also predeceased by her husband Herman; son Corwin Keeping; mother and father-in-law Harriet Jane (Wendall) Keeping; brothers Freeman Wells, Earl Wells, Morgan Wells, Albert Tom Wells, Benjamin (Susanna) Wells, James Wells, Wilfred Wells; sisters Melissa (James) Chaulk, Melitia Billard; sister-in-law Phyllis (Reg) Leamon. Born: April 17th, 1941
Passed on: March 5th, 2018

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Jerome (Jerry) Robert Mugford announces his peaceful passing at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on March 5th, 2018 at the age of 76 years. Jerry was born in Codroy, NL and lived there for most of his entire life. For forty years Jerry has been living with Minnie and James Hilliard then he resided to Oceanside Care Home with Vicki Donaldson and extended Hilliard family, all of whom Jerry highly respected and considered to be his family. Jerry was the son of the late Minnie Moore (nee Kendall). He was also predeceased by his grandparents James and Leila Mugford; aunts; uncles and cousins. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his cousins Calvin (Irene) Carter, Alman (Mary) Carter, Viola (Al Seymour) and Clarissa (George) Gillis; cousin-in-law Elizabeth Carter and his home-care friends and staff at Oceanside Home. Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and continued on Wednesday, March 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Codroy, NL. The funeral service was held on Thursday, March 8th at 2 pm from the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Codroy, NL officiated by Rev. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bertram Osmond announce his passing at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Monday, March 12th, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Bertram was the son of the late Philip and Margaret Osmond (nee Dicks). He was also predeceased by his son Roland Osmond; brother Gordon (Violet) Osmond; sister Irene (Clifford) Skeard; mother and father-in-law Isreal (Marie) Anderson; daughters-in-law Loretta Osmond and Minnie Osmond; step-brothers Edward (Margret) Seymour, Michael (Blanche) Seymour, William (Jessie) Seymour, Emanuel (Theresa) Osmond; step-sister Violet (Cyril) Osmond, sister-in-law Sandra Harvey; brothers-in-law John Harvey and Wilfred Ricketts. Born in Channel-Port aux Basques, William was the son of the late James and Frances Seaward (nee Osmond). He was also predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Thomas (Jane) Battiste; his children Rhonda Seaward, Jason Seaward; sisters Shirley (Bert) Hann, Viola Osmond; sisters-in-law Joan Seaward, Sharon Seaward, Mabel Battiste; brothers-in-law Joseph Battiste, Raymond Battiste, Lewis Battiste, Robert (Bob) Peddle; and granddaughter baby Glenda Kendall. WARREN, Caroline Elizabeth
Born: September 13th, 1923
Passed on: March 10th, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Caroline Elizabeth Warren (nee Billard) announce her peaceful passing at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on March 10th, 2018 at the age of 94 years. Caroline was born in Margaree, NL on September 13th, 1923. She was one of seven children, with 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She married Albert T. Warren on April 24th, 1940. They had five children, 4 daughters and 1 son. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking and there was always room for one more at her table. Her favourite pastimes were reading, knitting, watching hockey and she was always up for a good game of cards. She was also a devoted parishioner of St. Augustine's Anglican Church and was a founding member of its ACW in 1955. She remained a member throughout her lifetime. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters Bessie Walters of Fox Roost, NL, Kathelene Skeard of Port aux Basques, NL, Mildred Maddigan of Corner Brook, NL, and Bernice Sweet of Margaree, NL with whom she resided; son David (Roberta) Warren of Fox Roost, NL; grandchildren Wanda (Wayne) Stone of Margaree, NL, Joanne (Robert) Semple of Wedgeport, NS, Pamela (Craig) Tobin of Margaree, NL, Cindy (Frank) Porter, Ted (Marina) Skeard all of Port aux Basques, NL, Enos (June) Skeard of Dartmouth, NS, David (Trina) Skeard of Red Deer, AB, Lisa (Deon) Vautier of Paradise, NL, Ronald (Tracey) Maddigan of Hammonds Plains, NS, Jackie (Robert) Wood of Calgary, AB, Greg (Carla) Warren of Conception Bay South, NL, Gary (Tanya) Warren of Paradise, NL, Matthew (Terri-Lynn) Sweet and Susan (Chad) Skinner all of Margaree, NL. She also leaves behind her twenty two (22) great-grandchildren and six (6) great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Julia (Marks) and Martin Billard; husband Albert Theodore Warren; son-in-laws Matthew Sweet, Garland Walters, Enos Skeard, Ronald Maddigan; brothers Gabriel (Effie) Billard, Thomas Billard, Gordon (Ada) Billard, Berkley (Ida) Billard, Dorman (Gertrude) Warren, Bessie (Gordon) Anderson; sisters Naomi (Keltie) Thomas, and Mildred (Emmanuel) Willis. In keeping with Caroline's wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation took place on Monday, March 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and continued on Tuesday morning from the St. Augustine's Anglican Church in Margaree, NL from where the funeral service took place on Tuesday, March 13th at 2 pm officiated by Rev. Jeffrey Petten with internment followed at St. Augustine's Cemetery, Margaree, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to the St. Augustine's Anglican Church or to the charity of one's choice.
