Visitation took place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Holy Spirit Anglican Church, Isle aux Morts. Funeral services took place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2004 at Holy Spirit Anglican Church officiated by Rev. Hubert Vallis. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Janet Piercey announce her passing at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Monday, June 14, 2004 in her 87 year. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories two sons, John (Claire) Piercey and Max (Debbie) Piercey, five grandchildren, Sandra, Elaine, Todd, Jamie and Jason; five great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Ashley, Telia, James and Alex; brother, Henry Simms, as well as a circle of relatives and friends. Visitation took place Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Rushnell Funeral Home. A service was held in the chapel on Thursday July 1, 2004 at 11 a.m. followed by a cremation. Donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
