Born in Margaree she was the daughter of the late Edward and Susannah Taylor. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Joseph Pearce in October of 1996; sisters, Annie Styles, Irene Ford, Melinda Osmond and Harriet Osmond. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories, her loving children, Donald (Suzanne), Moncton, New Brunswick, Clarence (Diane), Margaree, Melinda (Edgar) White, Codroy Valley, Donna (Al) Comeau, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Bertha (Carl) Gale, Carolann (Art) LeRiche, and Susan (Bruce) Goulding, of Port aux Basques; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.
