ANDERSON, Clarence David
(December 21, 1954 - January 17, 2015)

It is with great sadness the family of the late Clarence Anderson announce his sudden passing on January 17, 2015 at the age of 60 years; Clarence was the son of the late William Anderson. He was also predeceased by his sister Donna Sheaves, father-in-law James Bunter, step father-in-law James Hartney. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Linda of 37 years, children Ashley (Stephen) Chaulk CBS, Sacha (Randy) Anderson-Street Lower Sackville, grandchild Ronan along with twins to arrive, mother Elsie Anderson, sisters Wilma (Dave) Pike Port aux Basques, Sherry (Chester) Keeping Eastern Passage NS, Cathy (Darrin) Buffett Port aux Basques, mother-in-law Mary Hartney Port aux Basques, brother-in-law Bruce Sheaves Lower Sackville, sisters-in-law Elizabeth (Robert) Hardy Port aux Basques, Joanne (Dave) Ingram Port aux Basques, Sandra Lee (Steve) Bunter British Columbia. Clarence also leaves a large circle of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, co-workers, ,mstudents and many many friends, including special friends who were more like family Gord, Rose Simms & children. In keeping with Clarence's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation took place on Friday, January 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral services took place on Saturday, January 24 at 2 pm from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Clayton Billard officiating. Interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clarence's memory will be used to assist families who are incurring long term medical expenses. CARTER, Alice Florence (nee: Matthews)
(May 21, 1949 - January 23, 2015)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Florence at the Dr. Charles L. Legrow Health Centre on Friday, January 23, 2015 at the age of 65. Born in Port Aux Basques she was the daughter of Charles and Susie Matthews. Besides her Father she was predeceased by her husband William in 2003, Mother and Father in Law Catherine and William Carter, Brother in Law Fred Carter and Sister in Law Ella Osbourne. She leaves with fond and loving memories her Mother Susie, Daughter Roxanne (Neil) Farrell, Paradise, and Son Glenn, Port Aux Basques, Grandchildren Megan Farrell and Ashley Carter, Sisters Coleen (Eric) Fudge, Mary Noseworthy and Brother Eric (Joanne) Matthews all of Port Aux Basques, Sisters and Brothers In Law, Dorothy (Thomas) Confiant, North Sydney, NS, Kathleen Samms, Vera (Thomas) Harding, Greta (Ernest) Collier, Carol (Howard) Farrell all of Codroy, NL, along with a large circle of nieces and nephews. Special mention of Niece Deanna Fudge for her love and attention along with Florence's special friends Anna Harvey (Godchild) Erica and Ryder Fudge whom she Loved to see, as they brightened her day. Visitation took place on Sunday, January 25 and Monday, January 26 from 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM from East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Road, Port Aux Basques. Funeral Service took place from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Grand Bay on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 11 AM with The Rev. Stephen Maki Officiating, followed by interment in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill, TCH. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations maybe made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. EDMUNDS, Miriam Katherine
(March 28, 1933 - January 12, 2015)

Passed away peacefully at the Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Centre on Monday, January 12, 2015 Miriam Katherine Edmunds of Isle aux Morts at the age of 81 years. She was the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Munden and Maude Ellen Munden. She was also predeceased by her husband Thomas Nelson Edmunds, infant daughter Miriam, brothers and sisters Martha Lawrence, Irene Thomas, William Thomas Munden and granddaughter Tara Taylor. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Linda Brenton NL, Charles (Judy) Edmunds Port aux Basques, Yvonne (Abe) Taylor Calgary AB, Rachel (Mike) Derosa Calgary AB, Thomas (Bertha Lushman) Edmunds Port aux Basques, Maryellen (Cecil) Sheaves Port aux Basques, Marty (Jackie Tilley) Edmunds Port aux Basques, and Lisa (Donnie) Delaney Stephenville and a large circle of nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by mother and father-in-law Melinda and Emmanuel Lomond, sisters-in-law Louise Kettle (nee Way), Eva (Charlie) Kettle, brothers-in-law Edward (Teddy) Lomond, Clayton Lomond, Randell Hollett, and Nathan Kettle.
