ANDERSON, Lloyd David
(July 1, 1939 - November 1, 2014)

It is with sadness that the family of the late Lloyd David Anderson announce his passing on Saturday, November 1st, 2014 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 75 years. Beside his parents the late Arthur and Sarah (Nee Rogers) Anderson he was predeceased by brothers; Ronald, Gerald, Harry, James, and a sister in law Carmel. Surviving with precious memories that death can not steal are sisters in law; Lorraine, Maxine, Maureen, Nieces and Nephews; Donna (Burt) Currie, North Sydney, John (Denise) Anderson, Sydney, Arthur (Sharon) Anderson, Cape Ray, Sharon (David) Standing, Port Aux Basques, Paul Anderson, Manuels, Laurie Anderson (Rodney Fudge) Manuels, Doreen Anderson, Ontario and David Anderson Manitoba, along with a large circle of extended family and friends. The family accepted visitors on Sunday, November 2nd from 7-9 PM. A memorial service celebrating Lloyds life took place on Monday November 3, 11 AM all form East Haven Funeral Home Inc., officiated by Rev. Kathleen Anderson, interment followed in Wesley United Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Wesley United Church, Port Aux Basques. 1944-2014

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eileen Battiste announces her passing at Charles LeGrow Health Centre on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the age of 70. Born in Port-aux-Basques, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Clevett) Blackmore. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter, Roxanne Battiste (Dwayne Sheaves), Port-aux-Basques and son, Brainard (Lynn) Battiste, Bridgewater, NS grandchildren, Brooke, Bailey, David, Shawna and Todd and great grandchildren, Lily, Avah and Finn, brothers and sisters, George (Gloria) Blackmore, Digby, Nova Scotia, Gerald (Margaret) Blackmore, Port-aux-Basques, Jim (Darlene) Blackmore, Ester Pearce and Judy Keeping (Martin Demone), brother and sister in law Arch (Margaret) Osmond, many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends, especially Betty Lillington, she was predeceased, by her husband, Frederick Battsite, brothers, Richard and Brainard, sisters, Lillian and Hannah. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 134 Main Street on Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 and Wednesday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 31 at 3:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church with Rev.Jeffery Petten officiating. CROUCHER, Bertha
(May 16, 1925 - December 27, 2014)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bertha Vera Croucher announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Saturday, December 27, 2014. Born on May 16, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie Walters. She was also predeceased by husband George, Brother Milton and Sisters Ivy Oates, Mabel Boudreau and Rosie Kenny. Surviving with very fond and loving memories are her children Milton (Daphne), Scarborough, Ont., Sharon (Neville) Riddell, Toronto, Ont., Brada (Paul) Daines, Whitby, Ont., Grandchildren Steffan (Rebecca) Riddell, Jeremy (Alanna) Croucher, Megan Croucher, Great Granddaughters Ameila, Abagail, Madison, Hailey, sisters Cora Wilton, Wiltondale, NL, Doreen Slobodian, Ottawa, Ont. and sister in law Josie Walters of Rocky Harbour along with a large circle of extended family and friends. In keeping with Bertha's wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of donors choice. HOLLINGSWORTH, Clara Ann Parsons
(August 6, 1976 - December 6, 2014)

Passed away peacefully at her home in Lantz NS on Saturday December 6 surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer Clara Ann (nee Parsons) Hollingsworth formerly of Isle aux Morts, NL at the age of 38 years. Clara was predeceased by her grandparents Richard Harvey and Sadie Parsons, aunt Verna Parsons, uncle Richard Parsons, Grandma Luella Cowie, Grandpa Lyle and Grandma Finny Hollingsworth. Leaving to mourn with many fond and precious memories her loving and devoted husband Scott of 13 years. Proud mom of her pride and joys Mason and Jayden, and her Puppy Princess Gracie. She will forever remain in the heart of her parents Liz and Dave Whitten of Isle aux Morts, only sister Sonja (Mike) Millard St. John's, NL, grandparents Mary and Jim Whitten St. John's NL, special uncle George (Glenda) Parsons Isle aux Morts, special cousins, Craig (Pam) Parsons Porter's Lake NS and their children Katelyn and Landon, Jason Parsons (Louise) and their son Keegan. Loving aunt of Gabrielle, Logan, Bohdanna, Dax, Kaene, Joel, Kate, Caylin. She will also be fondly missed by her mother and father in law, Lyle and Debbie Hollingsworth Foremost, AB., brother in laws; Shawn, Justin (Jennifer), Travis, grandpa Jack Cowie all of Alberta and a large circle of extended family and many, many wonderful and supportive friends. Visitation took place on Tuesday and Wednesday at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts. Funeral services took place on Thursday December 11, 11 AM officiated by Rev. Maryrose Colbourne, interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of one's choice. 1942-2014

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kathleen "Kay" Ingram announces her passing at home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 72. Born in Port-aux-Basques, she was the daughter of the late Chesley and Georgina (Hardy) Bragg. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving husband of 54 years, Eric, sons, Terry (Tammy), Clayton (Janet) and Michael (Lilly) and daughter-in-law, Cathy, grandchildren, Richard, Amy, Kristin, Crystal, Megan and Tyler and great grandchildren, Christian, Liam, Colton, Brayden and Avery; brothers and sisters, Horatio (Lucy), Roland (Beverly), Sylvia (Don), Bob (Harriett) , Gary and Jim (Marie), brothers and sisters-in-laws, Gerald, Bob (Lucy), Doug, Collie and Sis, many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. Kay was predeceased by son, Thomas, grandchildren, Samantha and Luke and sisters, Linda and Ida. RING, Audrey Cecile
(November 25, 1940 - December 20, 2014)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Audrey Ring announces her sudden passing at her residence on December 20, 2014 at the age of 74 years. Audrey was the daughter of the late Jim and Cecilia (nee Bonus) Phillips. She was also predeceased by her husband Donald Ring, daughter-in-law Florence Leheinsworth, brother Donald Phillips and brother-in-law Ken Hill. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her two sons Tim Collingwood ON, and Steve Port aux Basques and daughter Brenda Collingwood, ON, grandchildren Ronald and Christopher, sisters-in-law Carol Phillips ON, Marie Hill Collingwood, ON and Grace Ring Collingwood, ON, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and many, many friends. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leona "Marie" Samms announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Centre on December 21st at the age of 67 years. Besides her parents, the late Russell and Janie (nee Collier) Samms, Marie was predeceased by her special friend James Samms. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her her brothers and sisters Ruthie (Edward Hillard) Samms, Nelson (Sharon) Samms, James (Beatrice) Samms, and Frank (Eva) Collier all of Codroy, nieces and nephews Jennifer (Ephriam Smith) Samms Cook's Harbour NL, William Samms and Shelly (Jamie) Hillard both of Codroy and Gordon Samms of Labrador, one great niece Erica and two great nephews Brady and Austin and special caregiver Minnie Hilliard plus a large circle of special friends. By request, private family visitation has taken place. Funeral service took place on Tuesday, December 23rd at 2:00 pm from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Codroy with Rev. Stephen Maki officiating. It is with grate sadness that we the family of the late Katherine "Katie" Jane Tucker announce her passing on December 28, 2014 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 60 years. Beside her parents the late Phillip and Ida Jane Pike she was predeceased by sister Elsie. She leaves with fond and loving memories her Spouse Joseph Bobbett, Sons Michael Tucker, Ont., Darrin (Amanda) Tucker, Guelph, Ont., Special Granddaughter Micheala, Brother Milton (Kathleen) Pike St. John, NB, Sisters Sheila (Larry) Boyles, St. John, NB and Queen (Frank) Roberge, Stephenville Crossing, along with a large circle of Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, extended family and many friends. The family will be accepting visitors at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will also be celebrated on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 2 PM from the funeral home chapel. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend on December 27 at her residence. Born in Cartyville, Newfoundland on October 11th, 1944 Lillian was the daughter of the late Gerald and Margaret Downey. She leaves with very fond and loving memories Husband Calvin, Doyles, NL, Daughter Evelynne (Michael Taylor) Ansara, London, Ont., Grandson Chase, Sisters Evelyn and Zita, Brothers Eugene, Richard (Philomena), Nathan (Arvilla) Brothers In Law Philip, Everett (Joyce), Clyde (Joyce), along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will be accepting visitors on Wednesday, December 31st, 2014 beginning at 2 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 1st, 2015 at 10:30 AM all from St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Doyles, followed by a graveside service in the parish cemetery.
