ALLEN, Paul Cecil
April 9, 1962 - April 4, 2014

Paul passed away suddenly in Treherne, Manitoba on April 4, 2014. He will be lovingly remembered by his partner Lee Ann, his sons Cecil and Ryan, step children Russell, Tom and Crystal, his parents Cecil and Dorothy, sisters Sharon (Ken), Karen (Vance), Patricia (David) and his brother Jim (Julie) as well as his many nieces and nephews. His funeral service took place at Green Acres Funeral Home in Winnipeg, Manitoba on April 10, 2014.
We will forever remember his passion for music, his smile that could light up a room, and his eagerness to give what little he had to help anyone in need. Paul was loved dearly by the many lives he touched. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

BRAGG, Mary Pope
(April 29, 1923 - April 24, 2014)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary P Bragg (nee Dyke) announces her passing on Wednesday April 23, at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 90 years. Born at Greenspond, Bonavista Bay Mary was the daughter of the late Ralph and Rita Dyke. She was also predeceased by her husband George Bragg in 2006, grandson Frankie George Matthews, sisters; Ida Peyton, Patience Cross, Barbara Anstey, Lorraine Elliott, brother Marshall Dyke, brother in laws; Bernard Prosser, Christopher Bragg, William Bragg, Elwood Turner, George Osmond, John Peyton, Tom Beaton, Edgar Elliott, Earl Anstey, sister in laws; Mildred Bragg, Esther Bragg, and a large circle of nieces, and nephews. She leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories her children; Sharon (Albert) White, Carolann (Frank) Matthews, Roberta (Dave) Savory, Lloyd (Janice) Bragg all of Port aux Basques, Donna (Kenny) Munden Burnt Islands, Richard Bragg (Paulette) Port aux Basques. She will forever remain in the hearts of her 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her sister Rita Beaton Norris Arm South NL, brothers; Ambrose (Pat) Dyke Norris Arm North NL, Albert (Geraldine) Dyke Cambridge ON. Sister in laws; Dallas Turner Handover Massachusetts USA, Dorothy Prosser, Shirley Osmond, Marilyn Bragg (William Osmond) all of Port aux Basques and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Mary loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was an avid card player and would play a hand of cards any time there was a card game on the go. She was a treasure to us all, and we were blessed to have her in our lives. To know her was to love her. Visitation took place on Thursday from 7-9 PM and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home. The funeral service took place on Saturday April 26, 11 AM at St. James Anglican Church, Channel officiated by Rev. Canon Dawn Barrett. In keeping with Mary's wishes cremation followed and the interment will take place at a later date. CARROLL, Mildred Diane
(March 13, 1949 - April 8, 2014)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Carroll announces her peaceful passing after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday April 8, at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center at the age of 65 years. Born in Isle aux Morts, Mildred was the daughter of the late John and Julia (nee Walters) Seymour. She was also predeceased by her infant sons Junior and Graham, sister Susanne MacDonald, brother in laws; Eli LeFrense, Edgar Dominie, John Ball, Eric Tapp, Wesley Coleman, Melvin Bragg, Ronald Carroll, nieces and nephews. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of fond and precious memories are her devoted husband John of 49 years. Loving mother of Naomi (Junior) Skinner Port aux Basques, Shawn (Niki) Carroll Margaree, Sharmaine (Steve) Strickland Port aux Basques. Proud grandmother of Julia, Jenna, Chelsea, Katie, Jack, Sara. She will remain forever in the hearts of her sisters and brothers; Aggie Coleman, Naomi Ball, Maude Tapp, Vera Bragg, Theresa LeFrense, Pearl (George) Harvey, Garfield (Shirley) Seymour, Gordon (Maggie) Seymour, John (Judy) Seymour, Elsie (Wayne) Billard. Brother and sister in laws; Angus MacDonald, Marjorie Dominie, Mary (Earl) Walters, Marie (Wayne) Farrell, Patricia (Percy) Reid, Alvin (Mary) Carroll, Seaward (Florence) Carroll, Reginald (Phyllis) Carroll, Dorman (Alma) Carroll and a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many, many friends. In keeping with Mildred's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family received friends at St. Augustine's Anglican Church in Margaree on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services took place on Saturday April 12, 2 PM at St. Augustine's Anglican Church, officiated by Rev. Maryrose Colbourne. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mildred's memory can be made to St. Augustine's Anglican Church in Margaree. O'QUINN, Genevieve
(December 7, 1920 - April 8, 2014)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Genevieve O'Quinn announces her peaceful passing on Tuesday April 8, at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center at the age of 93 years. Born at Upper Ferry, Genevieve was the daughter of the late Angus and Catherine (nee MacDonald) MacIsaac. She was also predeceased by her husband George, sons Cyril and Charles, daughters Rose Marie and Mary, brother Norman, sister Tina, son in laws; Robert and Anthony MacIsaac. She leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories her children Eugene (Ann Marie) O'Quinn Codroy Valley, Elaine Walker Ontario, Bride Chaisson Port aux Basques, Catherine (Jim) Dalgleish Ontario, Eileen MacIsaac Codroy Valley, George O'Quinn New Brunswick. 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. In keeping with Genevieve's wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation and prayers took take place on Sunday at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Upper Ferry at 7 PM. The funeral mass took place on Monday April 14, 10 AM at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, officiated by Father Lee Lainey, interment followed at Chapel Green Roman Catholic Cemetery, Great Codroy. OSMOND, James (Jim) Henry
(October 11, 1929 - April 6, 2014)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Henry Osmond announces his passing after a brief illness on Sunday April 6, 2014 at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center at the age of 84 years. Born at Cape Ray, James was the son of the late James and Julia (nee Short) Osmond. He was also predeceased by his sisters; Annie King, Jane Peddle, Irene Mullins, stepbrothers; Manstan Osmond, Norman Osmond and stepsister Hilda Johnson. Leaving to mourn with many fond and precious memories of a loving husband, father and grandfather are his wife Helene (nee Bradley) of 57 years, sons; Bill (Sherry) Petewawa ON, Darren (Alyssa) Cold Lake AB, Larry St. John NB, grandchildren; Kirsten, Chelsea, Shanea, Noah, Isaac, and Ella. Sisters; Melida Young Stephenville Crossing NL, Classie Marshall (Albert), Bessie Short all of Port aux Basques, Julia Harvey Cape Ray, Sadie St. Croix South Branch, Bernice Osmond Port aux Basques, Rose Carter Cape Ray, Ruby Dicks (Ivan), Norah Osmond all of Port aux Basques, brother Don Osmond (Hazel) Cape Ray and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Jim was an avid hunter and salmon fisherman, he spent many hours in the country hunting and fishing and for this he will be sadly missed by his life long hunting partner Gordon Osmond. Jim also took great pride in his garden and grew his own vegetables for many years for his family and many friends with whom he shared much of his crop with. His kind and gentle spirit will remain with us always. Visitation took place on Monday evening from 7-9 PM and continued on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Wednesday April 9, 2 PM at St. James Anglican Church, Channel officiated by Rev. Steven Maki. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in memory of Jim can be made to St. James Anglican Church memorial Fund or the Dr. H Bliss Murphy Cancer Center. PARK, Derek W. S.
(September 15, 1945 - April 23, 2014)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the late Derek Park. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories Spouse Mary Coley; Son Brad; Daughter Stephanie (David) Warren; Sisters Alice (Harry) Parsons, Maxine Jones & Betty Wells; Son In Law Pleman; 8 Grandchildren, a large circle of Nieces and Nephews and special friends Ambrose & Ida Lawrence. Predeceased by both parents the late William and Irene (House) Park and daughter Marina. The family accepted visitors on Thursday, April 24th and Friday April 25. The funeral service took place on Saturday April 26th at 2 PM officiated by Rev. Maryrose Colbourne all from Holy Spirit Anglican Church, Isle Aux Morts. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle Aux Morts Road. Memorial Donations to Holy Spirit Anglican Church Greatly appreciated.
