PARSONS, Wilfred Edgar
1924-2005
Rose Blanche

It is with great sadness that we the family of the late Wilfred Edgar Parsonsannounce his sudden passing at his residence on April 10, 2005. He was the son of the late John and Annie (Strickland) Parsons. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife, Vivian; sons, Clarence, Wilfred (Wanda); daughters, Linda (Peter) Blanche (Clayton) all of Rose Blanche, along with eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five brothers and three sisters. Wilfred was predeceased by one brother, Clyde. Family accepted visitors at St. Michael's All Angels Church in Rose Blanche from Monday through to Friday, where the funeral service took place on Friday, April 15, 2005 with Rev. H. Vallis officiating. Interment followed in Hillside Haven Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Fillatre's Funeral Home. BUNGAY, Albert Charles
Bungay, Albert Charles
, 60, of Middle Sackville, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2005 in the V.G. Centennial Building. Born in Channel-Port aux Basques, he was the son of the late George and Lena (Ford) Bungay. Surviving are his wife, the former Muriel Glazer; two sons Eddie and Darrell and their families; first wife Alice; one sister, Bessie and two brothers Hubert and Robert and their families; six step sons, and two step daughters, and their families. Albert was predeceased by sister Maude; brother Gerald; brother-in-law Jack. Cremation has taken place and at Albert's request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2005 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville. Interment of ashes will be at a later date. MCNEIL, Holly Dianne
1956-2005

Passed away peacefully at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Center on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 Holly Dianne McNeil of Port aux Basques, at the age of 48 years. Holly was born in Stephenville Crossing, but spent most of her life in Port aux Basques where she had her family and a lengthy career at Jeans Garage. She was predeceased by her father-in-law James McNeil in March of 2004. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her husband John B. McNeil of 29 years of marriage; loving daughter Kimberly McNeil; parents Eric and Maude Tapp, all of Port aux Basques. Brothers and sisters: Gerald (Dulcie) Tapp, Kitchener, ON; Wally (Joan) Tapp, Port aux Basques; Vina (Kevin) Carter, Sydney, NS; Jim (Colleen) Tapp, Dartmouth, NS; grandmother Julia Seymour of Margaree; mother-in-law Molly McNeil, Port aux Basques; brother-in-law and sisters in law, Lewis (Kathleen) McNeil, St. John's; Gordon (Marie) McNeil, Cape Ray; Wayne McNeil (Paulette); Donnie (Glenda) McNeil; Donna (Claude) Bragg, all of Port aux Basques, and a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. Cremation took place on Tuesday, April 19. The family received friends at East Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service took place on Thursday, April 21, 2 p.m. at St. James' Anglican Church in Channel, officiated by Rev. Hugh Fudge. Interment of ashes followed at St. James' Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Funeral arrangements in the care of East Haven Funeral Home, Port aux Basques, 695-2300.
Holly touched the lives of everyone she knew, her sense of humor, warm smile and her love of life will surely be missed by everyone.

SNOW, Nora Marion
Age 78
Port aux Basques

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nora Marion Snow announce her passing at LeGrow Health Centre on Saturday, April 23, 2005 in her 78th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her loving husband, David of 58 years; four sons, John (Margaret) of Dartmouth, NS, David (Donna) of Springdale, NL, Garry of Bedford NS, and Richard (Sandra) of Kentville, NS; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; Brother Nelson (Elizabeth) Ingram, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her son baby, Maxwell; parents, George and Blanche Ingram; and brother, Leander Ingram. Family visitation was held on Saturday evening 7-9 p.m. Relatives and friends visited on Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 2 p.m. from Wesley United Church with Rev. Patricia Ritchie officiating. Interment followed at the Wesley United Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port aux Basques. GALE, Thomas J.
1944-2005
Thomas J. Gale
of South Branch passed away peacefully at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at the age of 60 years. Born in South Branch, he was the son of the late John Thomas and Elsie Gale. He was predeceased by baby sister, Marilyn; mother and father-in-law, Thomas and Mary MacIsaac; step-mother-in-law, Matilida MacIsaac; brother-in-law, Thomas Lahey; and sister-in-law, Ethel Gale. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving wife of 36 years Gennita Gale; sons, Benjamin and Dwayne (Melaine) of Toronto; brothers and sisters, Mike Gale, Theresa (Mike) Gillam, Donna (Hyacinth) Aucoin, Brian (Jessie) Gale, Gerard (Marg) Gale, Hector (Kathy) Gale, Ray (Angela) Gale, Brendon Gale, Sharon (Owen) St. Croix, Hughie (Edna) Gale, all of South Branch; Lewis (Claire) Gale of Heatherton, NL; Danny (Roxanne) Gale of BC; Marilyn (Junior) Pearce of Port aux Basques; and Bernard (Rita) Gale of O'Regans; brothers and sisters-in-law, Costello (Gerry) McIsaac of Michigan; Scelena (Lawrence) Gallant of South Branch; Rose (Pat) Bates, Maureen (Rob) O'Neill, Debbie (Sheldon) Campbell, and Glenda Lahey, all of Cape Breton; Rody MacIsaac of Halifax; and Christine (Jim) Gibbons of Toronto; and a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation took place on Monday and Tuesday at St. Sylvester's Roman Catholic Church in South Branch. Funeral mass took place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday May 4, 2005 at St. Sylvester's Roman Catholic Church, officiated by Father Lee Lainey. Interment followed at the church cemetery. 1935-2005

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Herman Keeping announce his passing at LeGrow Health Centre on April 30, 2005 in his 69th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his wife, Lillian; daughter, Madonna Billard (Dana); five sons, Glenn (Barbara), David (Josephiine), Herman (Cynthia), Leroy (Laura) and Corwin; eleven grandchildren, Trent, Travis, David, Coralee, Jessica, Matthew, Kristylee, Irma, Hilary, Madison and Dalten; one great-grandchild, Tristen; two sisters, Phyllis Leamon (Reg), Mable Keeping (George); three brothers, Montford, Harold (Belinda) Roy (Rose). He is predeceased by his parents, Wendell and Harriett Keeping; sister-in-law, Phyllis Keeping. Visitation took place at St. George's Anglican Church in Burnt Islands, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from where funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Rev. H. Vallis officiating. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port aux Basques.
