BOUZANE, Patrick James
1926 - 2013

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Patrick James Bouzane announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Center in Springdale on November 26, 2013 at the age of 87. Patrick was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish in St. Patrick's and the Knights of Columbus. He retired from mining. He was predeceased by his parents, 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Left with fond and loving memories is his sister Francis Colbourne (Wilfred), many nieces and nephews as well as a large circle of friends. Father Anselmo Landoy conducted the funeral service from the Sacred Heart Parish in St. Patrick's on November 28, 2013. Interment was at the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery in St. Patrick's. Pallbearers were members of the Knights of Columbus. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes. BUTT, Gerald Walter

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald Butt announce his passing in Springdale on November 10, 2013 at the age of 62. Gerald retired from CABO Drilling in 2010. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Mavis Butt, sister Melvina and father-in-law, Edward Clarke. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Karen (nee Clarke) of Springdale; son Rob (Karin) of Winnipeg; daughter Erica (Max) of Springdale; "the lights of his life" his Grandchildren: Adam, Clarke, Lydia, Spencer, Tyler & Gabrielle; brothers: Davis Hull (Shirley), Doug Thomas (Roxanne), Don (Ruth), Len (Marian), Brian (Sandra), Melv (Peggy) and Bob (Brenda); sisters: Lorraine (Larry) Warren and Barbra; mother and father-in-law Marjorie & Leo; in-laws: Joan (Brud), Beth (Ted), Lynn (Dennis), Annette (Roger), Jackie (Bill) and Cathy (Ed); as well as a very large number of nieces and nephews who were all very special to him. A celebration of Gerald's life will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Springdale Curling Club for everyone who would like to attend. No flowers by request. Donations in his memory may be made to the grandchildren by forwarding a donation (via email money transfer) to popsbabies@outlook.com. HARNETT, Faye Olga (Nee Brett)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Faye Harnett announce her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex in Springdale on November 4, 2013 at the age of 94. Faye was a member of the United Church Ladies Group at Comfort Cove and Bishop's Falls. She was predeceased by her husband William Harnett. Left with fond and loving memories is her sister Mary Pelley; brothers, Peter Brett (Marcia), Raymond Brett (Joan) and many relatives and friends. Rev. Diana Crewe conducted the funeral service from Bethel United Church in Comfort Cove on November 6, 2013. Interment was at the United Cemetery in Comfort Cove. Pallbearers were Bob Cooper, Lloyd Head, Gerald Head, Mark Harnett, Roy Philpott and Lloyd Zinc. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

HIGDON, Evelyn Ruth
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Evelyn Ruth Higdon announce her passing at the A.M. Guy Memorial Health Center in Buchans on November 23, 2013 at the age of 80. Evelyn was a member of the St. John Divine Anglican Church. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd Higdon and son Paul (Bert) Higdon. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Ernest (Carmel) of Fort McMurray, Alberta, and David (Tanya) of Fort McMurray; and daughters Shirley (Fred) Roberts of Little Bay Islands, Sandra (John) Forward of Buchans and Eileen of Hanna, Alberta. Also leaving to mourn sisters Elsie, Lilian and Clemency; Grandchildren Joe, John, Kimberly, Chelsey, Bailey, Lauren and Kalan; Great grandchildren Sofia, Kieran, Ellie, Naomi and Jack. Reverend Tim Graham and Reverend Joan will conduct the funeral service at the Saint John The Divine Anglican Church on November 28, 2013. Interment will be at the Buchans Community Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ernest Higdon, David Higdon, Donald Williams, Fred Roberts and Joe Roberts. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mike Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes

ROBERTS, Yvonne Rose

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Yvonne Rose Roberts announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on November 15, 2013 at the age of 55. She was predeceased by her father, Harold Roberts and brother-in-law, Earl Young. Left with fond and loving memories is her daughter Heidi Roberts of Triton; mother, Frances Roberts; sisters - Dorothy Young, Venetta Eastman (Paul); brothers - Craig Roberts (Maxine) and Corwin Roberts (Renee); nieces and nephews. Pastor Kent Sceviour conducted the funeral service from the Maranatha Pentecostal Tabernacle in Triton on November 17, 2013. Interment was at the Triton Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Craig Roberts (Brother), Corwin Roberts (Brother), Derwin Roberts (Nephew), Otto Roberts (Uncle), Ernie Winsor (Brother-in-law) and Rudy Henstridge (Friend). SCOTT, Joyce Isabel
Passed away peacefully at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center on November 28, 2013, Joyce Isabel Scott age 87. She was predeceased by her husband Jack, parents Frank and Beatrice (Nellie) Barnes, and her brother Harrison Barnes. Celebrating her life are her children Margaret, James (Lynn), Banks, Eleanor, Edward, and Beverley (Carl); grandchildren Kara Ging (Brad), Ian Scott, Heather Hunter (Trent), Mark Scott, Theodore and Vanessa Clarke; Great-grandchildren Catherine Scott and Ethan Hunter. Sisters: Audrey Withers, Olga Barnes, Estelle Lamswood and Cammie Collins (Ray): Brother Weston (Pat); sister-in-law Ruth Scott and a large circle of relatives and friends. Joyce was an active member of St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church Thistle Club, Royal Purple of Canada, Cabot Lodge 65 and the Electrician Ladies. Joyce has asked that donations be made to the Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children #100 2829 29th Avenue, Regina, SK S4S 2N9, www.donation.elks-canada.org , or through the Central Funeral Homes webpage. SULLIVAN, Dinah Ethel Sullivan

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dinah Sullivan announce her passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor on November 17, 2013 at the age of 73. Dinah was a member of The Holy Trinity Anglican Church. She retired from the position of Sales Clerk at Riff's Limited in 2003. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Rosanna Deir and brothers Robert, Thomas and Hubert Deir. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Reg Sullivan; sons Paul (Trish) of Shoal Harbour, NL, Barry (Angela Pryor) of Deep River, Ont, and daughter Denise Sullivan (Jeff Dunphy) of Paradise, NL. Also leaving to mourn are grandchildren Sarah, Kody and Evan Sullivan, and Anna and Ian Dunphy; sisters-in-law Mary Deir and Winnie Deir. Reverend Randy Lockyer will conduct the funeral service at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church on November 20, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Sullivan, Jerry Sullivan, Tony Walsh, Hubert Deir, John Deir, Keith Brennan, Geoff Bradbury and Cathy Beales. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mike Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
