Passed away in: Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada

Margaret Rose Batten
, 69, of Trois-Ruisseaux, NB and formerly of Riverview, NB, with her daughter at her side, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB, on Saturday morning, June 26, 2010 after a short and brave battle with cancer. Born in Glovertown, NF, she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Emma (Holloway) Feltham. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, nanny and sister. She was very active and could usually be found waving, smiling and walking the roads of Cap-Pelé, NB, Riverview, NB, or on her beloved beach, in her beautiful garden or cooking up an amazing feed for family and friends. Margaret will be sadly missed by her loving husband of over 53 years, John; wonderful mother to Wanda Crotty (John), St. John's, NF; John Batten (Wendy), Riverview, NB; amazing nanny to Michael, JJ (Kristin), Angela Crotty, Alex and Laura Rose Batten and will be sadly missed by all; her sisters, Joyce Genge (Norm), Glovertown, NF; Pearl Winsor (Robert), Tatamagouche, NS; brothers, Robert Feltham (Margaret), ON; Rick Feltham (Anita), Reg Feltham (Debra), both of St. John's, NF; sisters in law, Winnie Stanley (Hal), St. John's, NF; Viola Griffin (late Gerard), Grand Falls, NF; several nieces, nephews along with a large extended family and many friends. No visitation by personal request. Celebration of Life Service for Margaret at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, NB (506-858-1995), Wednesday June 30, 2010, 11:00am. Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Southside United Church Cemetery, Glovertown, NF. CROCKER, Mrs. Joan
Passed away in: Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland, Canada

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joan Crocker announce her passing at the Central Regional Health Care Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on June 26, 2010 at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband Donald Crocker, infant daughter Kathryn Ida; brothers Pearce, Cyril and Rev. Leslie Upward. Left with fond and loving memories are daughters Glenda Tulk of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL Susan (Weldon) King of Grand Falls-Windsor and Judith Crocker of Grand Falls-Windsor. Also leaving to mourn sisters Vera Ludlow and Vera Joy Goulding; grandchildren Kathryn Cousins, Jennifer Tulk and Megan Jayne King; great grandchildren Dillon Tulk, Emily and Ashley Cousins; special niece and nephew Heather and Robert Goulding. Major's Terry & Bonnie Hopkins will conduct the funeral service at the Central Funeral Homes Chapel on June 27, 2010 at 2:30 P.M. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes. Pallbearers are Weldon King, Lindy Goulding, Keith Lane, Roy Folkes, Eric Sharpe and Glenn Evans, honorary pallbearers Harry Upward and Eric Moores. NEWHOOK, Mr. Cecil
Passed away in: Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland, Canada
Passed away on: 25/06/2010

Passed away on June 25, 2010 at the Central NL Regional Health Centre, Cecil Newhook of Bishop's Falls. He was 77 years of age. He was predeceased by parents, Richard & Lucy; brothers, Gordon, Albert; sisters, Amy & Rachel Smith. Left to mourn are sister, Janet Smith of Norman's Cove, nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends. Pastor Shawn Bowers conducted funeral services at Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle, Bishop's Falls on Monday June 28, 2010. Interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Bishops Falls. Funeral arrangements by Hoskins Funeral Home, Bishop's Falls. Pallbearers were Adam and Kyle Pretty, Andrew and Mark Tizzard, Sheldon and Tina Hollett.

PARSONS, Mr. Jason
Passed away in: Leading Tickles, Newfoundland, Canada
Passed away on: 28/06/2010

Passed suddenly away on June 28, 2010 at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Centre, Jason Pernell Parsons of Leading Tickles. He was 39 years of age. Jason was a fisherman and a member of the Leading Tickles Fire Department. He was predeceased by his father William Parsons. Left to mourn his passing are his spouse, Rhonda Newman; mother, Betty; step-father Robert Bursey; step-mother Elaine Rowsell; sons, Cody (Rebecca) and Jesse; step-son Nicholas (Nicole); step-daughter, Samantha. Also leaving to mourn are his sisters Charamine (Pernell) Saunders, Elizabeth (Jeffrey), Rochelle Rowsell (Tony-Lee); brothers Archie, William (Juanita), Michael (Mandy); step-grandson Caleb; nephews and nieces and a circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Larry Chatman will conduct the funeral service at St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Leading Tickles on Saturday, July 3, 2010 with interment at the Anglican Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Hoskins Funeral Homes, Botwood. Pallbearers are Archie Parsons, William Parsons, Michael Bursey, Nicholas Newman, Ransey Newman and (obit ended here)
