Regina Marie (Jean) Ball
- nee Taylor, passed peacefully away on July 13, 2011 at the A.M. Guy Memorial Health Centre, Buchans. She is predeceased by her husband, Albert Ball; father, Patrick Taylor; mother, Mary Taylor; sister, Margaret Barker; brother- in-law, Harold Barker; sister-in-law, Gloria Taylor; daughter-in-law; Denise Ball. Left to mourn are her sons, Les (Lynn) Ball, Tyrone (Renee) Ball; grand-children, Leslie Ball, Derrick Ball; sisters, Bridget (Harold) Barker, Alexius (Ken) Soady, Eileen (Harry) Taylor, Frances (Glynn) Bemister, Geraldine (Dave) Briand, Andrea (Rick) McNair; brothers, Pat (Millie) Taylor, Michael (Donna) Taylor, Dennis (Carmel) Taylor; nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends and co-workers. Passed Away On: 13/07/2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late M. Dale Hollett announce her passing at the Health Sciences Center in St. John's, NL on July 13th 2011 at the age of 61. Dale retired from Aramark, Oshawa, ON. Dale is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Mildred Hollett. Dale leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Kenneth (Lisa) of Clarenville, NL along with grandchildren Kenneth and Samantha; her sisters Shirley (Tom) Dwyer of Kittimat, BC, Sandy (Walter) Bouzane of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL and Elizabeth (Herman) Hunter of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; brother Robert (Pauline) of St.John's, NL; nephews Sean Dwyer, Scott Dwyer and Conner Hollett; nieces Lori Bouzane, Jennifer Potvin, Susie Dwyer, Tina Thomas, Daelyn Hollett and Andrea Hunter; four great-nephews and three great-neices; aunts Violet Beck and Vera Mosher. Passed away suddenly at home in Badger, NL on Saturday, July 16, 2011 Cecilia Anne Holt of Buchans, NL aged 68. Predeceased by her husband William, parents Ronald and Mary Southwell, sister Theresa Fewer, brother Edward Hogan and sister in law Judy Holt. Left with fond and loving memories are her children Suzanne (Andre Granville) of Paradise and Katrina (Craig Loder) of Badger, brother Ronald (Judy) of Square Pond, sister Bridget Lane of Toronto, ON, brother in law Don (Peggy) Holt of Fred-ericton, NB and grandchildren Emily, Kyle, Makayla and Kerra, whom she loved dearly, as well as a large circle of friends and relatives. No visitation by request. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11:00 am from St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Buchans. Inurn-ment to follow at the Buchans Community Cemetery. JOY, Ella
Passed Away On: 21/07/2011
Passed peacefully away on July 21, 2011 at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, Mrs. Ella Mary Joy of Bishop's Falls. She was 92 years of age. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; sons, Harold and Leslie; sisters, Alice and Jessie; brother, George. She leaves to mourn her sons, James (June), Leonard (Jean), Norman (Betty Mae), Paul (Gale), Ralph (Betty) and Owen (Mary); daughters, Shirley (Retis) Hancock, Margaret (Lindaus) Perry, Ruby (George) White, Glennie (Gerald) Stuckless, Wavey (Kevin) Ellis, Judy (Bill) Harnum and Darlene (Jerry) Dillon. Also leaving to mourn are her 32 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and a circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Norman Joy conducted funeral services at Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle, Bishop's Falls on Sunday, July 24, 2011 with interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Bishop's Falls. Pallbearers were her sons, Norman, James, Paul, Ralph, Owen and grandson David.

KENT, James
Passed Away On: 16/07/2011

Passed peacefully away on July 16, 2011 at his home in Bishop's Falls, James Kent. He was 79 years of age. Mr. Kent retired from CN Railway in October of 1988 after 40 years of service. He is predeceased by wife, Betty; son, Valentine; grandson, Justin Kent; parents Ronald & Freda; sister, Margaret Flynn and brother, Dennis Kent. Left to mourn are son, Jim (Barbara); daughters Joan (Mike), Judy (Roy) and Elizabeth. Four grandchildren; Courtney King, Jonathan Kent, James Kent and Peter Labib. Also leaving to mourn sisters, Pauline Buck & Winnifred Dominic; brothers, Ronald (Liz), Mike (Kathy), Bernard & Phonse; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service by Rev. Father Kevin Barker from The Sacred Heart Parish, Bishop's Falls on Thursday, July 21, 2011. Pallbearers are Jim Kent, Bernard Kent, Phonse Kent, Mike Kent, Roy Dwyer & Jonathan Kent. Honorary pallbearers are Peter Labib and Kevin Buck.

LITTLE, Emily
Passed Away On: 01/07/2011
It is with sadness that the family of the late Emily Phoebe Little announce her passing on July 1, 2011 at the Carmelite Senior's Home, Grand Falls-Windsor, aged 86. Emily is predeceased by her husband, Clarence; parents, Henry & Winnie Brenton; sister, Mary; son-in-laws, George Beard, and George Dalton. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, are her children, Judy Beard, Bruce Little (Monique Brousseau), Denise Dalton, and Christine Little; grandchildren, Emilie Pelley, David Hamilton, and Julie Little; sisters, Violet Martin, Evelyn Mills, and Pearl Best; as well as a large number if nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Emily was a long-time volunteer at the Carmelite Seniors Home before becoming a resident there. She was well known for her afternoon tea parties and homemade tea buns. The Funeral Service for the late Emily Phoebe Little took place on Monday July 4, 2011 at 2 pm from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Grand falls-Windsor, NL. Visitation took place Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 7-9 pm, Sunday July 3, 2011 at 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm from The Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, NL. Flowers greatly accepted as well in her memory donations may be made to the Carmelite House Recreation Fund. Pallbearers: Ralph Angel, Dave Ralph, Howard Little, Wayne Little, Larry Martin, and David Hamilton. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

MARSH, Margaret
Passed Away On: 29/07/2011
Passed peacefully away on July 29, 2011 at the Central NL Regional Health Care Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, Margaret Hilda Marsh of Bishop's Falls. She was 73 years of age. She was predeceased by her parents, Alma and Levi Loveman; granddaughter, Stephanie Penton; brothers, Donald and Lemuel; sisters-in-law, Rose and Effie; brother-in-law, Oswald. She leaves to mourn her loving husband of 58 years, Elias; sons, David (Linda), Nelson (Betty), Shawn (Valinda); daughters, Leah (Willis) Budgell, Marie (Terry) Budgell, Wavey Marsh, Hazel (Leo) Penton, Cathy Marsh (Tim Church), Annie (Stephen) Morris. She also leaves 20 grand-children, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; sister, Mimmie Chippett; brother, Roland Loveman and a number of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Funeral service by Pastor William Boyd at the Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle on Monday, Aug. 1, 2011 with interment at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Hoskins Funeral Home, Bishop's Falls. Pallbearers are her six grandsons, Trevor Budgell, Stephen Penton, Simon Marsh, Scott Marsh, Nelson Marsh and Eric Church.

MORRIS, Beulah
Passed Away On: 15/07/2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Beulah Grace Morris announce her peaceful passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Centre on Friday, July 15, 2011 at the age of 83. Beulah was a dedicated member of the Memorial United Church and a lifetime member of the United Church Women. She volunteered for many years with the Hospital Auxiliary, and spent countless hours visiting the sick and lonely armed with packages of home-made treats. Her passion was baking and experi-menting with new recipes and many households were treated to her goodies for various occasions. Beulah worked for many years with Steers Insurance but fondly remembered the years and all the children she met as a librarian in the town library. Beulah is predeceased by her loving husband and soul mate, George, as well as her parents and her siblings George, Major, Esther, Thomas, Margaret and Verna. Left with fond and loving memories are her son, Derrick (Judy) of Kamloops, BC, daughter, Melinda (David) Anthony of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and grandchildren Matthew Anthony, Angela Morris, Amy Anthony, Melissa Morris and Victoria Morris. Also leaving to mourn are her brother George Wall, sister Jean Aykroid; sisters-in-law Mary Woolridge and Rose King; brother-in-law George Quinlan; nieces, nephews; as well a large circle of friends, especially the "Sunday Night Crowd". Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Royden Reynolds at Memorial United Church on Tues., July 19, 2011 at 2pm. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Grand Falls-Windsor. Nanny Blu's pallbearers were her cherished grandchildren; Matthew, Angie, Amy, Missy and Vicki. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to Memorial United Church, or to the Dr. H. NEWHOOK, Mildred
Passed Away On: 30/07/2011

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Ann Newhook announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on July 30, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Mildred was a member of United Church Women Seniors Club, Lodge Northcliffe Masonic Ladies, and Branch 12 Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She retired from Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre on February 28, 1985. She was predeceased by her husband, William Newhook; son, Ernest Newhook; brother, Will; sisters, Bessie, Dorothy and Winnifred. Left with fond and loving memories are her son, Glenn (Sandra) Newhook of Halifax, NS; daughter, Christine (Doug) Cudmore of Gander, NL; and daughter-in-law, Wanda Newhook of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; her cherished grandchildren, Stephanie (Marty Fletcher), Maria (Steve Penney), Miranda, Grant and William; as well as her great-grandchildren Sarah and Gracie. Mildred also leaves to mourn her sisters, Cassie (Harry) Tait, Irene Lacey, Ada Lane, Verna (Bert) Milley, Dora (Bob) Woodman; brother, Leonard (Audrey) George; and her special friend, Malcom Keefe. Reverend Royden Reynolds conducted the funeral service at the Memorial United Church in Grand Falls-Windsor on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery on Union Street. Pallbearers were her grandsons William Newhook, Grant Cudmore; Masonic Northcliffe Lodge 1086 members, Lou Alteen, George LeMoine, Terry Head, and Ken Miller. It is with sadness that the families of the late Michael Joseph Paul announce his passing on July 16, 2011 at his cottage located at Little Red Indian Falls, NL, aged 77 years. Michael is pred-eceased by his parents, Francis and Elizabeth Paul; a number of brothers and sisters. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Marion Paul; sons, Randy of London, UK, and Michael of Lloydminster, AB; daughters, Marie (Norm) Pardy of Grande Prairie, AB, Diane of Halifax, NS, Melissa of Fort McMurray, AB, and Michelle of Carbonear, NL; sisters, Olga (Dave) Gawronski, and Cecelia (Dean) Dumas; brother, Jerome (Mary) Paul; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation took place Monday, July 18, 2011 at 7-9 pm, Tuesday July, 19, 2011 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Badger, NL. Clifton is predeceased by his wife Doreen; parents, Robert and Doris Piercey; brothers, Reg and Milton Piercey. It is with sadness that the families of the late Kathleen (Kay) M. Reardon announce her passing on July 8, 2011 at the Carmelite Seniors Home, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL age 80. Kay is predeceased by her parents, Ambrose and Theresa; sisters, Rita, and Isabelle; brothers, Mike, Leonard, and Jack. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are nieces, and nephews, Ray (Violet), Mike (Lillian), Patricia (Terry), Mary (Larry), Charles, Gerard (Karen), Pauline (Sean), Leonard (Roberta), Joseph (Carolyn), Paul, Wayne (Ruth), and Sandra (Karl). Visitation will take place Sunday, July 10, 2010 at 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. The funeral service will take place Monday, July 11, 2011 at 10 am from St. Joseph's Parish with Father Houlahan officiating. Interment will be at a later date. ROBINSON, Esther
Passed Away On: 25/07/2011

Passed peacefully away on July 25, 2011 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, Esther Victoria Robinson of Bishop's Falls. She was 88 years of age. She was predeceased by her parents Elijah and Bessie Marsh; husband, Fred; two infant children Eileen and Scott; brothers, Stanley Ward, Levi Marsh; sisters, Leah Guest and Gladys Noseworthy. She leaves to mourn her sons, Glen (Fanny), Wilson (Regina), Truman (Elizabeth), Wallace (Gwen), Harold (Linda) and Alfred (Thelma). Also left to mourn are 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; one brother Elias (Margaret) and other relatives and friends. Pastor Robert Thomas conducted funeral services at Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle, Bishop's Falls on Thursday, July 28, 2011 with interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Bishop's Falls. Pallbearers were her grandchildren, Richard, Kelly, Darryl, Christopher, Lorne, Roger, John and Kyle Robinson. THOMPSON, Lillian
Passed Away On: 08/07/2011
Passed peacefully away on July 8th, 2011 at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Center, Lillian Woolridge Thompson of Botwood. She was 96 years of age. She was predeceased by hus-bands Bert Woolridge and Bramwell Thompson; son, John Woolridge; daughter, Melba Curtis; sons-in-law Rex Hemeon, Sam Rowsell, Ralph Curtis; grandson, Johnny Woolridge, step-daughter, Fronie Butler, six sisters and four brothers. She leaves to mourn her sons, Edgar (Noella), Jerry (Marie), Merle (Marie), Ronald (Sheila); daughters, Joan (Ian), Lorene (John), Margaret, Helen(Vince), Jean (Wallace), Heather (Barry); step-children; Sandra (George), Keith (Becca); brothers, Philip (Elsie), Warrick (Marjorie); 42 grandchildren; 80 great-grand-children; 19 great-great grandchildren, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Majors Calvin and Beryl Collins conducted funeral services from the Salvation Army Citadel, Botwood on Monday July 11th, 2011. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Botwood. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Homes, Botwood. Pallbearers were her grandsons Philip Woolridge, Glen Curtis, Robert Hemeon, Dean Woolridge, Jeff Parsons and Justin Parsons. Honorary Pallbearer was her grandson Jerry Woolridge.
