SCOTT, William
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at A.M. Guy Memorial Health Center, Buchans on December 21, 2014, William F. Scott, age 89. Predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Madeline (Kennedy) Scott on June 4, 2014. Predeceased by parents Richard and Ann (Rossiter) Scott, brother Patrick Scott, sister Sheila (Scott) and husband Ron Hynes, son-in-law Gerald Day, brothers-in-law Patrick Kennedy and Gunther Zunke. Left to mourn with loving memories are his children, Peggy Day of Thompson, Manitoba; Joanne Scott of St. John's; Charmaine Scott of St. John's; Cheryl (Boyd) Riggs of Carbonear; William Scott Jr (Lee) of Greenwood, Nova Scotia; Stephen Scott (Melanie) of St John's; grandchildren Shanne and Scotty Day, Scott (Taneal) and Heather Bourden, Laura and David Riggs, Ashley and Stephanie Scott, Will and Ella Scott, great-grandchild Claire Bourden; Siblings Catherine Conway, Ron Scott and Tina (Jim) Rose of St John's; sisters- in-law Laura Kennedy, Geraldine Zunke and Linda Kennedy, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at St Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Buchans. Funeral Mass took place on Tuesday, December 23 at 10:30 am at St Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Interment will followed at Buchans Community Cemetery.
